I really love my apartment it has everything I was looking for in a house. I love the space I have and the community is peaceful to live in. The maintanace is phenominal they are always on top of their work orders. I have yet to have an issue with getting anything fixed in a timely matter.

Quiet place to live. Nothing out of this world, but its a nice place. The ammentaties are good too. And the location in this area is good too.

I’m a new resident and received my keys this week. My unit wasn’t cleaned very thoroughly and I need to spend hours doing a deep clean. The pantry shelves are coated in stinky stuff and food residue, the entire unit is really dusty, floors dirty, and the shower had hair dirt in it. I’m pretty disappointed that the unit wasn’t move in ready when being run by a large management company.

Is ok, the apartment have some issues the one have to fix it, but the place is comfortable and relaxing, we have the park near to go to walk!!!

Everything is great so far living here. The community/ neighborhood is great. Only thing I say that hallways and stairs in the buildings can definitely be deep cleaned. The carpet definitely needs to be deep cleaned or even removed for new ones.

It's freshing to see the improvements with the new management company. With my lease renewal, my monthly rent decreased, they've replaced the roof and hired more maintenance staff to maintain the property. I'm hopeful and happy again and looking forward to the siding being cleaned to have all the bird poop, pollen and other elements removed from the exterior so it can feel like a luxury community again. When something is wrong and you call maintenance they come right away. I like that! they always take care of the grounds. They always keep it clean and neat. I like that about this place.

3 stars is super generous: For the rent that we pay I would expect a cleaner hallway, better window functionality, updated appliances, and for the building's door to actually lock. There is also the matter of the apartment mold, strange holes in our carpet through our padding, the filthy siding that needs to be washed. The pond and people dumping garbage, pet waste, and oil in there. Otherwise the maintenance people are great and always come in a timely manner! The neighbors are always courteous and the location to the forest preserve is great.
It’s very quiet and clean environment love the pool and the gym area everyone is so nice .i really love it here happy I found these apartments
Information regarding move in requirements was limited and made the process seem easy but was actually highly frustrating. After submitting a facilities request and being told it was completed, there were still issues with the apartment that we asked be fixed.
Everyone is so kind. Apartments are beautiful. We have recommended this complex to numerous people we know. Definitely looking forward to living here for another year.

What a great place to live! Over the past few months we have noticed the spring & summer work maintenance started. From landscaping to building maintenance. Every maintenance employee smiles and wave as the pass. Complex events for tenants. (Breakfasts mornings). We can not wait for summer (pool opening) Last… the time is coming up to renew our lease . Can’t wait!!

These are clearly not luxury apartments. But they have a luxury price. The hallways smell and there hasn’t been much upkeep to them. The enforcement of smoking doesn’t seem to work since the smell of marihuana seems to come from who knows where. The upside is that noise wise we haven’t had any problems.

So far, everything is great. Friendly and helpful neighbors. Great activities. Work out room. Business office. I can't wait until the summer because I want to go swimming in the outdoor pool.

Very clean. Great location. Love being so close to walking trails and the lake. Love how quiet it is. Enjoy all the stores and restaurants in the area.

I have loved my time in my cozy space. If I could change anything it would be gas stove tops. LOL. I also would have opted for a garage when I moved in. Parking can be a struggle and I like to be close with having my boys.

Space is nice but there is a constant smell of marijuana in my apartment coming from other tenants in the building. Informed the management office on several occasions and seen no communications from them.

Quality apartment with spacious floor plan. The building are not that old, provide a secure environment. Located in a good and quite neighborhood.

I’ve lived here for a couple months now and love it here at The Meadows at River Run! My unit has a very nice layout. I enjoy the high ceilings, faux wood floors, full size washer and dryer, large bathroom, closet space, lots of windows/light and fireplace. So far it has been very peaceful and quiet here. One of the things that really attracted me to this complex is the beautiful nature trails behind the complex that lead to Hidden Lake with a bridge across the river to walk around Whalon Lake. Things that need improvement are the common building entry hallway/stairs that desperately need new carpet, door knobs, and patching/paint work. And also the snow removal from parking lots/sidewalks needs improvement. But overall I am loving it here so far! The complex recently got bought out by another management company so I plan on staying so long as they don’t dramatically increase rent when it’s time to renew the lease as the current rent is already average or slightly above for this market

Apartments are great with plenty size and updated amenities. The maintenance crew always responds timely and friendly. Exterior lawn is well manicured and the walkways and driveways are salted and shoveled in the winter.

Everyone’s been very helpful at the office throughout my two years of being here. Repair men are also very knowledgeable and get the repairs done in a timely manner. Only complaint is that there is dog poop found throughout the community especially in front of my building from the upstairs resident dog and it’s very unpleasant.

I have been living here for 5 years. It feels like this place gets worse every year. From valet trash to landscaping. But rent still goes up and quality of life goes down.

Pretty decent community and neighbors. Would suggest installing elevators in buildings in the future. Overall no complaints thus far, I enjoy living here.

My overall experience thus far has been pleasant. I have No complaints. Office staff and maintenance has Always help me when I needed it. Some fees I think should be waved, but I don't make the rules??

I love my apartment, I have not had any problems since being here, the manage is great about responding to issues. my only complaint was the carpet in the hallway, but it has been brought to my attention that that will soon be cleaned or replaced .

We have lived here for a little over 3 years. We love the overall location and apartment itself. It is occasionally hard to get ahold of leasing office and maintenance. A pleasant place to live overall, but has a few minor issues.

I enjoy living in Meadows for the last 2.5 years. People and community are great. Everyone is friendly and maintenance has been doing a great job keeping up with the weather.

The apartments themselves are wonderful! We have lived here for a year so far and haven’t had any issues with the apartment itself. We also haven’t had too much of an issue with the forest preserve being literally next door. We were concerned about bugs but (so far) they haven’t been bad; but we do hear the family of raccoons living near the building most summer nights. The office staff onsite, not so much. There only ever seems to be one person in the office (sometimes there isn’t anyone at all), so contacting someone asap is hard. They also tend to either not answer emails or call back when we leave voicemails. IRT Living staff (seemingly not onsite here) have been wonderful when we have needed to talk to them. Do not live here if you are looking for a smoke free apartment/area because they do not enforce it. Winter is also difficult here because the company they have contracted for snow removal will not remove snow for the majority of the season. They have plowed the roads (crappily) but barely ever shovel the sidewalks to the buildings or along the road/parking lot. Overall, if you are looking for a staff who almost never intervene and an apartment that is very nice, this is the place to be!
I appreciate how quickly maintenance responds to our requests. They are kind, friendly and efficient.
