Infested with roaches. No one cleans the building the neighbors are disgusting it’s horrible. I was referred and that’s the only reason I moved here. If I would have read the reviews first instead of word of mouth I would have never moved at all

Haven’t had working outlets in master bedroom for 4 months, the laundry facility is disgusting/doesn’t work half the time, terrible staff, no one responds to you and they’re never in the office when it says they are. Don’t bother calling it’s only an office site answering service that emails the main office and they never respond. We’ve had the Marion County health dept. in our apartment several times to inspect and she has wrote them many citations. Lots of gang activity here at night. They have security during the day that does nothing, everything happens at night so it’s pointless. Would recommend spending an extra $100 a month and living down the street somewhere else.

I went in for a tour and the office was super dark and shady all lights out and curtains closed, locking the door immediately after I got in like they are afraid of residents. Then the apartment they showed me looked NOTHING like the photos I was so disappointed it was gross tile all messed up and half done in the bathroom holes in the walls definitely not a single thing remodeled

Please do not rent here. Current resident and the office staff have locked the doors to hide from fulfilling maintenance requests. DTAY FAR AWAY

From the start this place has been nothing but problems. The office staff is impossible to get ahold of and never call you back. My move in date was pushed back 3 times, after I paid first month and deposit. I had to live in a hotel for a month. The only way I finally was able to get any progress was to show up to the office demanding a unit. Then with in one week of moving in the sewer system backed up into my apartment I had standing sewer water in my apartment for 2 days before anything was done. Again to get anything done I had to go to the office and demand it be taken care of, even then I was told well someone will be out today no one showed up till almost 5 pm. I told them the carpets would need replace, they shampooed them not replaced after there was sewer water standing on them. I called their corporate office and the health department on them. The health department told me they have been called put before for issues. I had dead roaches in my cabinets and kitchen floor when I moved in, plus the strong stench of mildew. I am looking to move out as soon as possible. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. Do not make the same mistake as I did.

This place is terrible do not move here maintenance suck and the property manager is never reachable this has been the longest 12 months ever maintenance half do things and they’re are no 24/7 maintenance there’s so many things that need to be fixed in my apartment that they was suppose to do before we moved in and never did. Dishwasher doesn’t work. So much here and I have had enough .

They have roaches. Huge roaches. They have used covid to their full advantage because they don't come fix anything. I've put in 8 work orders since July and they've yet to come out. It's less than 2 weeks left in the year. My faucet continuously drips. I'm talking 3 gallons an hour. The roaches are unbearable. I should've listened to the reviews but I Didn't think people were honest. Big mistake. I'm moving as soon as my lease is up in May. I'm not taking any of my new furniture I purchased and only had in this apartment. I'm afraid it's infested. I was being cheap and I paid a hefty price.

Maintenance is never completed so get ready to hire your own handy man and if you want to get in touch with the office good luck cause they never answer the phone.

People destroy everything in the neighborhood in general, the crime is terrible, some of the people are decent, but the majority are lazy parents with punk kids. There is no escaping the noise and its really bad in buildings where there are older kids and teens. For whatever the reason, these people are outside screaming and gathering in very early morning hours when most are asleep...doesn't make sense. Kids play right in front peoples windows and doors at all hours! If you live on the bottom floor, you will be kept awake by entrance doors, kids bouncing basketballs on the floors, flooding, music from above and parking lot, landscaping, and you name it because it happens. If you have a patio...well, all stray animals like to relieve themselves on or next to them, and wild children will just stand on your patio and look into your patio doors, sit in your chairs, knock things over, and just leave trash and toys on them. Maintenance only sometimes fixes things lately. People are going weeks and months without AC and emergency needs are not taken care of! Since the office isn't open due to Covid, you can rarely find anyone to address concerns. There have been renovations and I guess that is something, but you cant fix the area and the people that have and are running the area and complex into the ground. Its bad. Please do not be fooled by the model apartment and the lies. Honestly, the office and maintenance were more responsive before they put money into these places. Dont know what went wrong.

The AC in my apartment has not been working for almost a month now and maintenance has not come to repair it. They will not come complete a request if you place one in. Nothings ever really gets fixed around here

Do not move to this horrible apt complex.. They don’t fix anything when u put a maintenance request in. Some residents haven’t had air in there apts going on three months know. They are run down and old.. if u renew your lease they promise you that they will clean your carpet and do routine maintenance but u will never hear from them until they putting a crazy notice on your door. They keep changing management..no one up there cares about there tenants.. DO NOT MOVE HERE ITS HORRIBLE!! Breaking lease to get out of here ASAP!

Very easy move in process, clean maintened unit upon move in and you can tell management cares about the appearance of the grounds. Made a great choice moving here.

I have lived here for a while and i can categorically state that the maintenance is wacked,the managers dont care and they talk down to you , please note that they are super nice when you want to come rent an apartment once they get you to move in then the problem starts showing bad faucets,light bulbs are cheap and go off and the AC omg is the worst,i have been living in apartment with no AC for the past 3weeks and the property managers dont care and all they know how to do best is sending emails about rent payments, late fees and where you can get help if you are unable to pay your rent??..The reason why they do this is because they are money hungry...Please RUNNNNN do not rent from them cant wait for my lease to be over..

My AC has been broken for a week, and no one seems to care or be in a rush to repair it. I was moved into an apartment with roaches. Maintenance is terrible, and no one in the office cares about the tenants. I’ve called corporate and left voicemails and have yet to receive a response, ever.

I am a resident here and our AC was broken when we first moved in. We sent in multiple work order forms and went into the office to file a complaint multiple times and no one came to fix it the whole summer. They have charged us with unnecessary bills. The apartment itself is very cheap and redone poorly. It’s not as nice as it shows in the pictures. Save yourself the trouble and don’t live here.

if you want to live a nightmare come to Ashford Meridian, nothing is worse then these apartments, don't be packaged by the office or the renovations its just dust for eyes. run don't even try to put your feet here, the neighbors are just disrespectful, no education, no lifestyle, sorry apologizes for those who live here, honestly garbage, garbage, and garbage.

I moved here in November Sheena was so amazing and helpful when I first moved in. She provided me with information for daycares in the area and also informed me about all the eating places in the neighborhood. The Jamaican place she referred is phenomenal. Anytime I've went in the office she was always so very hopeful. I hate that I don't see her anymore she was such a sweetheart and knew the property well. I also love Tanya she is so a sweetie. The apartments are beautiful and I love the new updates. I don't have issues with bugs or loud noise. The new owners really love their residents and it all for us having better living. I'm so glad I didn't listen to reviews and went to Sheena. Because I am so happy here. Just wish we had more resident events. I'd love to meet more neighbors.

Do not rent from here. I am a current tenant and I’ve had nothing but awful expierinces since living here. The apartments are r even worth the headache I’ve gotten. Delayed maintenance orders, loud music at all hours of the night and worse of all smells of cigarette smoke and weed in my apartment. I’ve tried to get the office to do something besides send out pointless letters which I know they have to “ do” to make it seem like they are leaving a paper trail but it’s gotten to a point where I’m taking legal action because they aren’t letting me out of my lease without having to pay, and are trying to get me to move and pay a higher cost. After all the headache I’ve gotten this is how they treat their good tenants who pay on time for the most part. I am taking legal action against this company because after everything I’ve put up with their solution is to charge me more. So much has happened it’s to much to write but long story short take your hard earned money elsewhere. It’s not worth it.

My wife and i lived here for 5 years and the first couple of years were great but after all the management changes the place started to go down hill. The grounds are poorly kept, the people who were allowed to move in are getting kicked out at an alarming rate, lights on the property are not maintained to ensure that they work, and the office staff (though genuinely nice) lose stuff too much. The one bright spot in this apartment complex is the maintenance staff who come to fix things in the apartment, they are awesome and good at what they do. It seems like the complex is actively working to get rid of much of the rif raf in the complex and that they are trying to rehab the apartments but there is just far too many negatives for us to stay. Hopefully they will be able to get things back together, because right now they are handing out way to many late payments and eviction notices for our liking

I'm a current resident if you want a nice safe family oriented or decent neighborhoods and all of the things you pay for to be working and for maintenance to do their job and nice leasing agents and apartment managers... THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!

Terrible, unprofessional but cheap place. Do NOT move here!! I never, ever write reviews but I want to warn anyone looking to move here, DONT! I've been here since June and this is the FOURTH property manager in the office and it's only September. Very unorganized..do not what ever you do, move here.

Do not rent from Villas at Meridian Hills. They do not fix things that go wrong in the apartment. My garbage disposal has been broken for almost 4 months with sewage backing up because it will not let the sink drain. My dishwasher has been broken for 2 months. A seal has failed causing water to pour out onto the floor when filled with water. Despite many notices to the manager these have not been fixed. Also, damage caused to my apartment from the lady upstairs misusing her dishwasher has also not been repaired. I also rented the apartment with a microwave oven I n it that caught fire and was not replaced.

It's spacious and comfortable. Also affordable...great place to call home!

The community is very slow about responding to service requests and the complex was poor about the cleaning of my apartment prior to move in.
