Reading is a highly sought-after suburb in the greater Boston area. The city draws in residents with exceptional schools, top-notch community amenities, and welcoming atmosphere. Reading is dedicated to preserving its past while focusing on its future through restoration projects and support of local businesses. The thriving downtown corridor, filled with locally owned shops and restaurants, is an excellent example of the Reading spirit. The downtown area also serves as a community gathering spot during events and festivals with the Town Common being the central spot of downtown. Vast woodlands like Cedar Swamp, Timberneck Swamp, Bare Meadow, and Reading Town Forest are some of the lush park lands located within Reading. Other parts of Reading hold more greenspaces that hide residential neighborhoods. Renters have a variety of rental options in Reading as apartments, houses, and condos are available.

Property Ratings at The Met at Reading Station
I signed a 1-year lease when moving in but had to break it early because I couldn’t deal with all the problems when living here. On site management doesn’t exist and the property manager is only on the premises when she wants to show an apartment to prospective tenants. The property is owned by Trident Management which owns several properties in Reading and maintenance staff are stretched thin because there are so many properties owned by the company. You’re lucky if someone from maintenance calls you back when calling the emergency line. My advice for management is to hire more maintenance staff and to have a professional cleaning company come by weekly to clean especially since some of the units are used for Airbnb to start. Did I also mention that mail gets stolen all the time? The package lockers that was purchased by the previous management company has never worked. There are also no cameras installed in the building or on the grounds so people don’t care.
