Property Ratings at The Met
Great location and staff
Lived here for some time and seen many good and bad changes to the city around it. The staff is nice and even with some of the people that do their best to destroy and dirty everything, the building staff works hard to make things presentable and clean.
Thank you for all that you do, and all the hard work you put in to make this a wonderful place to live.
Grateful to live at The Met. Times have been tough financially and the worry of being without a place to live is an extreme trauma. Thank you to the Met Staff for being courteous and professional with helping tenants wh are experiencing hard ships.
great location convenient for me , friendly staff
The location is perfect for where I like to be in Los Angeles
Excellent management, concierge and maintenance teams. I love it here.
The Met is a beautiful, central apartment location! I can't wait to live here.
Great Staff and beautiful outside area.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. I feel safe and love living at the Met.
The Met is a great place to live - will recommend to all interested persons.
Once the application process was finally taken care of everything else has been great. I've had no issue reserving anything or getting set up with the move and all the move in helpers like the updater really helped me get a head start. Everything was clear and I’m grateful for everyone’s help.

Hello, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at The Met.
excellent staff, apartments are a nice size and the environment is great!
Amazing building with great amenities. Co-works always prompt to serve with professionalism and knowledge.
The Met provides all the luxury features you see in downtown apartments for an affordable cost. Staff are very friendly and eager to help.
We came to the Met for the first time 3 years ago, intending to stay for only a year! They simply made it impossible to leave. And by "they" I'm referring to the staff, the bloody responsive, respectful and super kind staff. Great place with competent management. We love it.
The Met: The office staff is friendly, communicative and helpful. The same applies to front desk security and the individuals who serve as maintenance technicians. There is an outdoor gym, beautiful pool and jacuzzi. The landscaping is welcoming, has much variety and the plants and flowers are well taken care of. I love having a patio. The rates are reasonable considering the area. The area is safe. Grocery stores and departments stores are within walking distance as well as many restaurants both fast food and dine in restaurants. I have lived at The Met for around 10 years. It is a lovely place and most people I talk to are very happy with their apartment home.
I'm currently in a 2BD/2BA apartment at the Met Apartments in DTLA. I vouch for this apartment because of many reasons: Safety: As a young adult in her 20s, being alone in the big city is a bit nerve-wracking. Being assured that I have 24-hour security (having to access the lobby, elevators, fitness center, garage, media room only with a key fob), I feel very safe in this apartment. Marcus, the Director of Security, is very approachable and can assist you with any questions that you may have. Service: Everyone in this building is pretty friendly. The groundskeepers, front desk, leasing agents, and the residents are all happy to be here. Karl, the resident associate, helped me every step of the way with my leasing information; he is amazing and brings positivity in this apartment. Sometimes you may feel that the front desk will not approve of certain things but there is always a legitimate reason for it (not allowing cars parked other than visitor lots, always requesting an id to borrow things, etc.) It's professionalism and evidence that people care about this community. Service requests are done within 24 hours unless there is a major breakdown. Location: To my knowledge, Ralph's market is the only legitimate grocery market in Downtown. From this, you are about 1 minute walk away from it. You have a Starbucks right across from Ralph's and a Faith & Flower to satisfy a date night. L.A. Live is less than 4 minutes away, the Metro on 7th is less than an 8 minute walk. If you want to be in the heart of DTLA, this is the place that you want to be. Overall: DTLA is a busy area. If safety, service, and convenience are what you desire, the Met Apartments is the way to go.
I spent months looking for the right apartment in downtown LA and am glad I found my way to The Met. The location is great. Everything you need is within walking distance: groceries, department stores, bars, restaurants, theaters, shopping, big venues (Staples Center, Nokia Theater), etc. It's a great spot for freeway access and public transit too. There are two train stations within three blocks of the apartment building and buses pick up on any side of the block. The apartment units themselves are quite nice too. I like the layout of my one-bedroom unit and the balcony offers great views of DTLA and South Park. The walls and floors are well-insulated so I never hear my neighbors. My unit happened to be recently renovated so all the finishes and appliances were brand new. I think they're renovating all the units as people move out this year. The amenities are solid. Outside there's a nice clean pool, two hot tubs, two grills, and they just put in an community herb garden. I love to cook so that was a nice little perk. Inside, you'll find a decent work out room with 3-4 treadmills, weights, and machines. They also have the typical entertainment room with large TV, poker table, and wi-fi. Since we're right across the street from FIDM they even have a sewing room for the fashion and design students that live here. Management has been great too. Any issues or questions I have are always responded to immediately. The application and leasing process was quite smooth. Expect the typical fees and background checks when you apply. The front desk people are on duty 24/7 and are extremely helpful and pleasant. The only negative I would mention about the Met is that there is very limited guest parking. That's just comes with living in downtown LA, I guess. Visitors have access to 10 secure spots which fill up fast. You have to hunt for street parking or pay at one of the lots nearby otherwise. They do offer secure underground parking at a reasonable rate for tenants though. Overall this is probably the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. I highly recommend it to anyone considering living in downtown LA.
this apartment's location is superb! It's super close to everything. Ralph's really close which makes it super convenient for midnight snack runs. I am involve with this place. So far i have had no problems with this place (including the management).
