Metropolitan Bala Cynwyd

Metropolitan Bala Cynwyd is a wonderful place to rent and our time here has been great. I would attribute it to the great property manager Andrea and the maintenance staff. The grounds and apartments are well maintained and taken care of. If there was ever an issue it would be taken care of promptly. When every we had a problem we could count on Andrea to take care of it. We enjoyed our newly renovated apartment and are sad to leave. I know how important good property management is when you are renting and it can make or break your living experience. You will not be disappointed with the care and quality they have at the Metropolitan Bala Cynwyd.

Here are the pros and cons of living in the apartment. Pros: The grounds outside are always clean and the landscape is nice in the courtyard. The location is good and easy access to the highway The apartments are a good size and there are no bug issues. Cons: The apartment complex is not safe now. Some of the newer tenants have been having multiple people coming in and out of the parking lot, and using the back door to the parking lot to get inside. There have been several cars pull up in the parking lot with super dark tented windows, and they drive real slow through the parking lot looking at the cars late in the evening. There have been multiple times were I smelled marijuana coming from the building and from these strangers in the cars. I came home at night from work and I have seen suspicious men standing in the parking lot staring at the parked cars. There appears to not be any cameras in the parking lot and no security in case of an emergency. The owners of the complex are more concerned about raising rent then the safety of the tenants. The walls are paper thin in the apartments and you can hear your neighbors on all sides talk. I can even hear if people cough. Emails go out all the time saying that the water have to be shut off. The apartments are cold in the winter, but at least that got a new heating system now that helps. There are other apartment complex in the area and I think you do better by checking them out instead of the metropolitan.

If you’re looking for a place to reside with proper upkeep and dependable maintenance & awesome management... Look no further. Ask for Andrea D, she will take care of you-she’s always smiling and reliable.

This place has the worst leasing office The staff is rude and Incompetent

I enjoyed living in the apartment very much. The apartment inside is cozy, bright, and quiet in general and has a little green garden outside which contributes to a peaceful and nice scenery. The neighborhood is safe, convenient, and nice. It is easy and convenient to access delicious restaurants, cafes, the park, the library, and the tran station. It takes about 5-10 minutes to access all of them by walk. The managers are kind and the price of the rental is reasonable as compared to other apartments in the neighborhood or city. I had very good memories about the apartment.

Lived here for 2 years moved because my fiancé and I were looking to increase living space size. The apartment though was perfect for first time couple moving in together. A great location the neighborhood you cannot beat. Management is very friendly and helpful we will miss the metropolitan community. If you’re looking for your family the school district is supposed to be one of the best.

We lived here for over a year. Clean property. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Beautiful courtyard. Sunny units. Maintenance is prompt and respectful. And I can’t say enough about Andrea - professional, friendly and accommodating. Moving here from out of state was a breeze. Really going to miss this place as we head back out of town. I highly recommend this place!
