Property Ratings at The Metropolitan
I moved in August 2023. For the first six months it was just a dirty apartment building, stains on the carpet in the hallway, bugs in common areas, dog poop in the stairwells but the inside of my unit was clean. Then 6 months in I found bed bugs. Brought this to the attention of management and they told me they’d handle it and inspect the apartments around me. They inspected found a massive infestation in the apartment directly below me and had him heat treated along with the apartment next to him (did nothing to mine). For the next six months I suffered with dealing with the bugs and repeatedly brought it to the attention of management and they said to do anything it would be $600 out of my pocket. When it was not me who brought them in. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU JUST YOUR MONEY.
Infested with cockroaches, dogs poop in the common hallway, roaches in the common laundry room, dog urine in the stairwell. Management doesn't care and does nothing to clean. The carpeted hallway floors are filthy and covered in sticky stuff and look like they haven't been cleaned in years. Management insisted that the roaches were being dealt with; pest control would come every 3 weeks and it did nothing to help. When I moved in, my unit was disgusting; dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets, and disgustingly dusty fans. The office hours are sporadic and never accurate. Washer and dryers are broken often. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE.
I love this apartment because it includes ALL utilities. I have had no issues since moving in that maintenance was not able to get right on. I definitely love that laundry facility are right down the hall from my apartment. Katie is an amazing property manager who responds right away. I also love the fact that I can have a short term lease with no problems.

I've been staying here for almost a year and I still feel like Metropolitan is the best. The rental is cheap and all utilities are included. The staffs here are friendly and helpful. Whenever I have problems with my apartment, the maintenance people will get it fixed as quick as possible. They also offer free shuttle service to Walmart and other shops twice/ thrice a week which I think is good enough for a student to survive without a car. And the most important thing is it is very near to campus where I can still walk to my class if even if I miss the bus. Overall, it is a great place to stay and I would always recommend the students to live here.

Thank you so much for the review! We take great pride in how fast and efficient our maintenance staff is! The free shuttle to Walmart is a great perk and we love the fact ALL residents can use it! Thank you for being a fantastic resident! WE LOVE ALL OUR RESIDENTS!
Pros: The location was perfect for walking to campus and I like that I could have my dog with me. The office workers are nice and try to help you whenever you ask for it. If I ever had any problems with my apartment the maintenance guys got it fixed. They one bedroom I lived in was a nice space and I had all utilities included which let me concentrate on school a bit more... less things I had to remember to pay for. Con: There wasn't a lot of room for parking... Packages that were delivered on the weekend I couldn't get until Monday because the office was closed.

I love the met! the staff is very friendly and helpful! It's quiet and close to campus, and the living space is reasonable for one person. The washer and dryers are nice and there's parking for your own car!

Thank you so much for the review! We love having you as a resident!
The Met is a nice place to stay at if you are looking for a cheap all inclusive. The rooms are a good size and the closet is huge. The place has a few problems, but it's definitely worth the price.

Nice apartments they are central located to campus and have great staff always helpful
Ive lived here since April 2015, it is now September but i have yet to find a reason to move. Everybody is pretty nice. I truly recommend plenty of people to come live where everyone loves where they live.
Have lived at the metropolitan for two years, Within the last year it has gotten much better managment wise. Minor Technical issues exist but are not critical. Quiet, Close to the school.
I moved in Metro at the end of August and have had great service every since. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I stay in a one bedroom. My apartment is so cozy and laid back. Very big closets and nice size room and bathroom! It's also quiet around.
