Do not move here, you’ll be waiting for maintenance and a leasing/manager to respond it’s been 2 months.
Pros- Apartments are spacious and very nice (if remodeled). Balcony’s are large. Grounds are well kept. Maintenance takes care of issues in a timely manner. Cons- Dog poop everywhere, especially when college student residency is up. Drivers are out of control, speeding and blowing stop signs. Parking is an issue especially if you get home later, and people park in handicapped spots who are not.
This community is great! It is conveniently located in Kennesaw super close to KSU . Lots of amenities and nice apartments! We lived here for 2 years, originally we had a 1br and then we transferred to 2x2 . The closet spaces in these apartments are amazing! We had a "Hamilton" Floor plan master bedr closet it is to die for! Roommate style floorp! They have a privacy door in the hallways that if you had a quick company you could close the doors and keep the noise and visitors out from the bedroom area. We had awesome neighbors and great apartments! The reason we moved out was due the purchase of a house. Otherwise, we would have stayed here. The rent is decent pricing, the pet fees, and lease-end fees are very good compared to other apartments in the area. They have free yoga for residents on Sundays and other cool resident activities! Another reason we stayed was due to Ms. Renee! She is so nice and attentive to the residents and property needs. Every time I had a question, or a request, she would always make sure we got our questions answered and our request handled. Make sure you ask for her when you stop by! There is a pool monitor gentleman, Mr. Mack! He rocks! He made sure that the pool is always sparkly clean and well maintained. He also makes sure everyone has their pool passes, and following the rules. If not, he is not afraid of asking people to leave. I really liked that, keep the pool area peaceful and enjoyable. Never raging parties or "random guests" that are not paying rent, nor trashing the pool or the areas. Like I tell you the good, I will tell you the not so good. I believe that these things were due to other residents and not the Management company's fault. -Residents are a bit lazy when walking their pets and not picking after them. A few time I had to let the office know that some areas needed to be picked up by maintenance. Or that poopie bags were needed in a specific area. -The entrance gate sometimes would be down, because another resident or visitor decided to tailgate someone and breaks the gate causing it to be open for a few days. Again, not the management's fault. -Other residents leaving trash in their patios or front doors. Bringing pest and critters to the building area. The office would notify the resident and will charge the violators for the trash. :) I hope this review helps make a decision when searching for an apartment. We definitely recommend The Mill at Chastain. -Natalie & Dino
This has been by far the best place I have lived out of the last 4 place I have moved from. I love living here because the complex is very well taken care of. If I ever were to have any issues, the office staff is always very friendly and super quick to assist me with whatever it is that I may need help with to resolve my issue. The leasing office is always trying to find ways to make the community better for everyone that lives here which makes it overall just an enjoyable living situation, especially for a busy and stressed college student.
