Property Ratings at The Millennium
This is a very nice community with extremely professional and helpful staff. The apartment itself is top quality.
This is a wonderful place to live!!! Sooo glad I selected this place to call my home.
Great place to live and work! Convenient location - almost everything you could want is within walking distance. Asia is the BEST Leasing Agent ever - knowledgable, responsive, and very kind and supportive. Concierge Staff ROCKS!!! Always willing to help! Really enjoying my new home at the Millennium! Linda J.
The caring and supportive staff made my experience, from leasing to move in, most pleasant! Asia is the best leasing agent ever! Knowing that I was downsizing from the suburbs, she found me the most incredible unit with floor to ceiling windows; lots of light!!! After move-in, Ann, Calvin and the rest of the staff were so helpful and efficient, always willing to answer questions and provide guidance. Overall a tremendous experience! Loving life in The Millennium! Linda J
Millennium is an excellent place to live. Friendly staff, great location with access to metro, shopping and coffee. Fun dog park and green areas to walk your pet!
The Millennium is easy living: convenient to everything, friendly and responsive service, all the amenities you could want.
The Millennium is safe and secure! The staff is friendly and professional, the place is clean and the Community members are kind! A great place to live!
We love living here at the Millennium! The staff is very friendly and always helpful! It is a great community.
I am a bit down on Millennium at this point, over the past 10 years I have lived here for 7 and at the beginning, everything was very good and I recommended this place to many people and many friends did live here. Today, the caliber of the residents does not seem to make the place a very fun or nice place to be, thus my recommendations have stopped and I am debating moving.
Love the location right across the street from Costco. Don't love the construction happening closeby and no mention of it when touring that place.
I love living at the Millennium! The staff is very friendly and knows us by name. They have a great online portal for anything we need help with.
The Millennium has everything you'd want in an apartment building, in one of Arlington's best neighborhoods.
I've lived here for about f2.5 years and think very highly of the staff and facilities. It's a great location (close to costco, whole foods, restaurants, public transportation). Maintenance and staff are very responsive. Great place to live.
I would recommend the Millennium to any of family & friends. The staff is extremely nice and the maintenance team are always on top of any issues. I would also like to point out that Brian, Anne & Ivan are beyond exceptional. The building is super clean but the hallways could use a fresh coat of paint. The lobby could use some updating as well in terms of the furniture. Additionally, I love the community events - wine tasting, breakfast/coffee and advertising what's happening in the area.
I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone. My husband and I recently moved from out-of-state and were living in the Millennium as temporary housing until we could purchase property. This apartment complex is so friendly, extremely clean, great staff, and wonderful maintenance. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive. Yesmin made our transition extremely smooth and Anne is so helpful at the front desk. I love having 24 hour front desk coverage and each staff member is friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew has been extremely responsive and are doing an amazing job. The cleaning staff makes the common areas and hallways impeccable. The location has everything one could possibly need close by.
A couple months ago, I would have had positive things to say but the management now is atrocious Issues: - We have sent multiple emails about the issues that have arisen and we never hear back and also have requested a meeting with management that we have not heard back on. So it's laughable that I see responses to reviews saying to "contact them". - We have had COCKROACHES and have asked the concierge to call the exterminator and they said they needed to get approval in the leasing office. We're still waiting. - They have a FAULTLY FIREALARM. The alarm goes off roughly every 6 weeks or so and the concierge who had been there awhile, James, said that it always goes off. To the point where the other day the alarm was set off THREE times, once during the day, once at 1230 AM and AGAIN at about 100 AM after it had been shut off the first time. That's a total safety hazard because no one can even take it seriously. - When it came to signing our new lease, we didn't get the lease until 4 days before it was set to start. One day after receiving it, I came out of work to a nasty voicemail from Stacy stating we had a balance. To which I informed her I just got my lease so it's pretty difficult to even know what I'm paying because we had already paid June rent wellll before we received the lease which was set to start on the 9th. - Which leads me to the fact that their online portal doesn't tell you want you the amount you owe.The water bill is sometimes delayed because it's not through the building so if you're off in your amount, you have no idea if you have a balance or if you over paid. - Speaking of which, around the holidays we paid rent early so we took a guess at what the bill might be and added that to the rent amount. Recently, we asked for the ledger and discovered we had over paid for the water at that time. Instead of letting us know, they simply took the extra money and BILLED IT TO US in extra for rent one month to even it out. - Recently, at 745 AM, all of the elevators were down for maintenance without ANY warning from the leasing office for 30 minutes. - Then, on the 4th of July they took apart the grill and rendered it inoperable. There may have been issues, but there was NO notice, NOTHING said to residents about it. Completely unacceptable communication and leads back to the horrible staff in the leasing office.
My fiance and I made an appointment for a tour and showed up promptly at the appointment time. We were ushered into the library and waited 15 minutes for our leasing agent to arrive. When she finally arrived she was nice, but didn't even mention the fact that she had kept us waiting perhaps she'd been busy but an acknowledgement would have been nice we are busy too. We took our tour, and went back to her office to discuss what we were interested in/move in dates. She handed us a business card and told us to let her know what we were interested in-which seemed odd because we had just told her. However we followed up with an email and asked questions about the application process but never got a response. It's worth noting that we've looked at other apartments in the area-after every visit we've received an immediate email summarizing the things we discussed). Nevertheless we continued to monitor the website for pricing and availability but nothing was listed. After still not receiving a follow up email I began looking at other websites and noticed that they had several apartments listed even though their own site said they didn't have availability, and that the prices had gone up $550 from what they were when we visited less than a week ago. I called the leasing office Saturday morning didn't hear back from the assistant property manager till nearly 5:00PM. He told me that the day prior they had approved an application for an apartment that was within our original budget and would have worked with our move in date, but now they were priced well outside of what we were intending to pay. He did offer us the previous day's pricing on another unit (again we had no idea this was available because it wasn't listed on their website and we weren't told about it) but it was still over what we were hoping to pay. When I mentioned that I was surprised at the price increase he stated that we had been given incorrect pricing on our tour. We've looked at a lot of apartments and I know that prices can increase rapidly but if leasing agents don't know pricing, and there is no info on their website, and there is no follow up how is anyone supposed to know what is available? I sent another follow up email to the leasing agent, and again as expected- no response. The building and amenities are nice, but if they can't provide accurate information on their website or follow up with potential tenants I can't imagine how they treat actual tenants.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your experience at The Millennium. I apologize for it being negative. We strive for the highest level of customer service and it is apparent that we fell short here. Your feedback will help us address where we fell short and help the team improve. I hope that you will give us a second chance to demonstrate our commitment to customer service and our residents. David Luecke | Property Manager | KETTLER The Millennium at Metropolitan Park
As a tenant for the past 6 years, I recently learned I was being scammed by the front desk weekday/daytime concierge. After repeated attempts to resolve the matter since February 2016 with Kettler Management, I was all but ignored and told “there is nothing we can do at this time.” I had to hire a private investigator, file a police report and retain counsel in order to address the issue properly. I closed my bank accounts and am monitoring my credit. Kettler did change my locks due to the fact that the concierge made a copy of my key and had it on their person to access my apartment at any time; however, this was only done at my insistence. Kettler made no attempts to investigate nor settle the issue and their utter disregard for my safety and well-being has exasperated the emotional stress that I experience living here daily. The 1 star rating is by default...they are not worthy of even that. ***RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK***

Hello, We thank you for your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience and miscommunication. The safety and well-being of our residents and their property is paramount. Please document your situation to customercare@kettler.com in order to discuss and have it resolved. Thank you.
I picked this apartment building because the unit is spacious, has a fantastic kitchen, includes a washer/dryer, allows pets, and had parking available. All that for about the same price that I would have paid for a smaller place in DC. The studio is laid out well - such that there is a sleeping area with some privacy (no door, so it's not actually a bedroom). The only negative is that the Costco next door can be a little noisy - not keep-me-awake noisy, but noticeable.
I moved into the Acadia a week ago, and love it here already! The amenities are still coming on line, but promise to be well above the standard for the pentagon city area. This area is super walkable, with the metro less than a block away and Costco across the street. I also feel comfortable walking here late at night (something I can't say for other areas of the DMV). If you're better at getting in shape than I am, you'll appreciate the gym - it's 3,000 sqft w/ Spin classes on demand (big enough to accommodate the New Years rush when people like me go for a few days.) The apartments are gorgeous with brand new appliances, tons of cabinet and storage space. The views aren't bad either, hello Washington monument from my lower floor balcony.
The apartment listed on apartments.com was exactly what I was looking for and the website truly helped me find the perfect apartment. The amenities are amazing: pool, spa, gym, pet friendly, washer/dryer in unit, and free coffee. The apartment itself is brand new and the kitchen is superb. Marble countertop and hardwood floors. It has everything a person could want for a one bedroom. If you're looking for a great apartment at an amazing price, sign up at "The Acadia" in Arlington, VA.
