The Mitchell

Coming up on our three year anniversary living at The Mitchell. My wife and I have enjoyed our home and all the amenities that The Mitchell offers. The leasing office personnel, the concierge personnel and maintenance personnel are very professional and friendly. And let’s not forget our Apartment Life Coordinator’s, Andy and Allison. They are very nice, welcoming and friendly.

Lovely quiet place with all the amenities you could ever need. I don’t ever want to leave my apartment. The monthly events are also super awesome!!!

Great living at the Mitchell and just renewed my lease until 2026. This is a great place to live and if you have a dog there's no where else to live but here.

Everything I need is within a walking distance from The Mitchell! Best decision so far to move here! Love it! And shout-out to the resident events team!

The building is meticulously maintained and the staff is always nice. I love my unit, it's absolutely the most beautiful apartment I've ever lived in.

I have enjoyed my stay here so far. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. We are close to the trains and the bus terminals. We are close to necessary stores and restaurants. We are glad we chose to live here.

The Mitchell is the perfect rental location! Easily walkable to everything you need, including Metro North to NYC. Apartments are spacious with modern details and styling. Amenities are plentiful and well maintained - rooftops, pool, BBQ, and two gyms!!!

I like the dog park a lot. I also like the events and the new cafe. I do want to have more of a law student-lawyer mixer event too since Pace is nearby

After living here for 2 years, we have happily renewed our lease. Most of the early kinks that most new buildings have, have been ironed out. We continue to love our spacious, modern apartment with all its conveniences as well as the White Plains small city vibe. The building is well maintained and the cleaning crew is always around and busy. And I must commend the maintenance staff. We have never waited for more than 24 hours for non essential help in our apartment. The staff in the leasing office is always friendly , extremely helpful ,and very patient in answering the questions and concerns of 2 very senior citizens. The communication to residents is usually very timely. We look forward to our next year at The Mitchell.

The building has its flaws just like every building in America. The Mitchell staff especially Alex is very easy to approach and to have a discussion with and will help fix the situation. So my advice is if you have a problem you should reach out to Alex and discuss it with her

While we have overall enjoyed our first month living at The Mitchell, we have encountered several issues pertaining to the way the building itself has been built, the appliances within our unit, and the management/maintenance team. With the issues we are facing - major water leak now in our unit due to poor piping, washer/dryer smells and dis function, and amenities being closed without warning before signing our lease, we would expect a much faster response time and higher quality service from the staff. We have not received the help and support necessary as tenants of the building. The building itself is beautiful and a nice place to live at a glance, but action needs to be taken in order to ensure renters are being given the living experience they were PROMISED when signing their lease.

I am loving the events each and every month! The addition of the door decorating contest was genius! Can’t wait to see what else is in store

Loving it so far at The Mitchell! Really feel management goes out of their way to host various events for tenant engagement. Best community I’ve been a part of this yet!

Everything has been great so far! Really enjoy the monthly activities, looking forward to Sip & Paint! Just wish there was at least a small part of a rooftop that allowed dogs. Sad to be paying so much to have my dog in my apartment and don’t feel that I’m getting my money’s worth for a $700 initial dog fee monthly $50 pet rent. So just wish there were more activities or spaces for the dogs

I love living at the Mitchell! It's a fantastic location in a Beautiful building. You won't be disappointed if you decide to live here. It is a short walk to the metro north and great restaurants minutes from your front door. Also great amenities.

On the whole... I think the building and location are great. The only drawback is I can hear my upstairs neighbour walking around in their apartment.

Enjoy the amenities and the staff! Holly and Anthony are both kind and attentive, they always go an extra mile to make us feel heard and satisfied! I feel like the service by the concierge is not standard, some are very good and some don’t even try. Also, we are having a hard time with the tight parking spots, we have a convertible baby car seat and we can’t take it out of the car once it is parked, so it is a nightmare.

Pretty good so far. Would only improve cleaningness in the children’s play room and remove the fans from the gym. I also would like the simulator fixed

5 months in, continue to love this place. Location is great, but what's more important and nicer is how much effort the staff and management take to make this an excellent place to live. Never regretted a single day picking this place. Oh, and get the right apartment and you will see fall colors everyday. It's perfect!

Great location and amenities but Consierge is not so amiable, my floor always smells like a combination of foods I think is because lack of ventilation.

I like this apartment because it's well maintained and the management team is professional. To be honest, swimming pool is not that great to enjoy because it's outdoor pool. It's noisy on Friday to Sunday because there's lots of bars around here.

Fair. The location of the building is great. Maintenance handles requests quickly. The unit itself has had numerous issues and management is far removed and highly corporate.

I just renewed my apartment lease at The Mitchell. I am enjoying my beautiful apartment and all of the amenities that are provided to me. I am also happy with the on-site maintenance and excellent management team!

The Mitchell has been a great place to live for almost 2 years now!! Through this difficult time - the staff and community have been amazing and have really been there. Every time I see a team member they always have a smile on their faces and ask how we are doing and it just makes such a difference - thank you all!

Everyone I have met here is so welcoming. Very dog friendly, which is great. Everything you need is in the building or just steps away. There were bumps in the road moving in, but they were very quick to address any issues.

Just moving in to the building, and so far so good! Management staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes their other appointments ran over into our scheduled time, so I wish there was more transparency about that. Otherwise so far so good

Best place to stay at. Super supportive staff and facilities. Neat and tidy premise. Best location in the downtown . Lots of information shared with the new tenets to support them.

I like the events and the new cafe downstairs. It's really nice and the repair service is good too. I also like the neighborhood a lot as well.

just moved in a few days ago and everyone has been very helpful and accommodating. I am on the 13th floor and it is very quiet. the complex is big and is hard for me to remember where to go! but that will get better. so far so good

After living here for two years, I find that Mitchell is a safe place to live. The office staff is very nice and always accommodating. I recommend.

Really enjoying living at The Mitchell and in the heart of downtown. I love having everything I need within a walking distance and my commute into the city isn’t bad either! Glad to make The Mitchell part of my life’s journey.

With all the new apartment buildings going up in White Plains. My wife and I have decided to renew our lease with The Mitchell, for another 15 months. Our past two years of living at The Mitchell, has been very pleasant and comfortable. The whole staff has been nothing but professional. And we are looking forward to enjoying the next 15 months of living here.

I enjoy living in Mitchell. Other than great amenities, I like it's tech friendly building. I can get into the building and room with an app I can use for the key.

The Mitchell is the place to live in downtown White Plains, great location, 360 views from the rooftop and top notch amenities, check it out and plan your move to your new home. We love it here! Pettway family.

Amenities are excellent. Refrigerator and washer/dryer are brand new and both very big. Floor to ceiling windows with shades are outstanding along with plenty of closet space.

Really love living here. Great environment and quite floor! My big concern is one of the elevators is constantly breaking unfortunately which is inconvenient

Have been living in The Mitchell for a bit more than a year - It's one of the best rental buildings in White Plains. Great location and amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff.

3 months at this place, have zero complaints. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The communications around maintenance are timely and very helpful. The amenities are great and maintained really well. The pool is always clean and well maintained. Great location and walking to all the restaurants, shopping and mall makes it very convenient. Was a little skeptical moving in with all the -ve reviews floating around, but it has been nothing put positive and never regretted moving in here

Love the Mitchel, amenities are great, walking distance to everything, and a new bakery just opened up downstairs! Love the windows and great views!

I really like the fact that service orders are dealt in a timely fashion so I am happy with that. However other things like: water filter in the building #2 gym needs replacement for few weeks now (or maybe more) and nothing is done. For the main gym it will be great rather than boxing machine which I'm not sure how popular is to have another cable machine; also a scale will be amazing to have !!

Overall, The Mitchell offers a superb living experience with minor drawbacks. Highly recommended! This place really is in the heart of white plains

I'm satisfied with living here. It's well maintained and this year, pool's open and it's nice. It's just near downtown so you can find lots of great diner here as well.

Location is great, parking is pretty unsafe, they keep raising prices but parking gate has worked for less than a month in the last two years. Pool finally opened this summer.

I’m new to the building and hopefully for a good experience. So far so good! Excited to be part of the community. We love it already and the downtown city vibes!

So glad the pool is open! 7TH floor bbq area is great and perfect to chill with a drink in the evening! The landscaping is amazing and adds to privacy and relaxing!

My floor is nice and quiet. However the doors close quite aggressively and can be scary sounding at times as it sounds like someone has opened your door when reality is it’s just someone on the floor leaving

Everything has been smooth so far. Service requests are addressed within a day. Just hope we can have some bell carts in Building 2, instead of walking up all the way to the main lobby.

Overall it’s a good community to live in. Very good amenities and good maintenance. Management could do better explaining about move in formalities
