Modera Skylar

This is my most recent experience in modera and let me tell you we started the year totally in the foot with and extended pool and amenities extended closure that took almost 11 months I mean no kidding my girlfriend would have gotten pregnant and deliver the baby sooner and the renovation were finished ,elevators were constantly break down and sometimes it will took several weeks to get repaired but slowly the apartment complex has turn around for the better amenities have reopen not quite 100% but at 90 % [ still waiting for the whirlpool to get heated but a great improvement from before) elevators haven't break down as often, the one thing that hasn't changed it's the staff commitment to assist and work out any problems in the building I do have to give them a 5 stars to the office and maintenance personel ,specially the maintenance deserved a award for dealing with the difficulties of the last year wishing next year will be a better one

Nos encanta el edificio y nuestro apartamento. La piscina quedo muy bien.Masiel siempre nos ayuda con todo. Muy felices con el servicio de la oficina.

Good experience no problems so far. The neighborhood could be a little better but other than that I really have no complaints. I’m enjoying the experience so far

The only good thing about this place is the maintenance team and the close proximity it has to important Miami areas. Other than that, this is not a place to live.

The building is very well kept. The lobby and elevators are clean. Nice landscaping. Staff is friendly and very helpful. So far I do not have much to complain about.

The pool has been closed for almost an entire year, the place is falling apart, elevators constantly breaking and putting us at physical risk, plus staff is not friendly.

The apartment itself is nice but the only thing is waiting so long for the pool to be finished since we were told it would be done by july latest august and it’s already mid september. Other then that the office is very helpful and so is the maintenance.

Great location ,maintenance personel, price is accurate quiet community nice neighbors but amenities are a joke pool,jacuzzi, grill area,outside gym has been closed down for 10 months and management all they do is lied in your face the pool project was supposed to be a few months to be repaired instead we get emails every month pushing the project back because permits, weather , contractors delays,materials delay in the meantime a close building is has been build from scratch and to open probably before amenities area is finish for repairs totally unacceptable for a company this big

Modera Skyler offers good services, clean and friendly environment. The office staff is supportive and shows willingness to help. Overall it's a great place to live.

Shawn and the team have really made a difference at Modera Skylar. They are attentive and helpful. Extremely polite. I'm so glad to have this new management team.

Being here since 2014 living here was good but now with this new management everything is worse. The only good think is the location I do too love because of that and because is close to my job.

Things are generally good but it sucks that we haven’t had a pool in months and the up keeping of each floor could better especially if we are paying for amenities that we can’t use.

management is poor. elevators are broken. pool has been closed 7 months.

Elevators never work. Very common to have only one elevator for a 21 floor building. Many residents get stuck in elevators and need to be rescued by fire department weekly. Fire department has placed notifications of unsafe elevators multiple times when coming to save people. Pool has been closed for months as well with no update or progress on maintenance.

Out of 3 elevators, only 2 work. Most of the time only 1 works so be ready to get late to wherever you need to go to.

Please, don’t waste your time here! Horrible customer service, Horrible professionals Avoid stress and waste of money!

I have lived at Modera Skylar for 3 years. It is a wonderful building, quiet, sophisticated and fun! There are amazing amenities, events and the management staff are outstanding. My issues are always resolved quickly and with kindness. Recently, our family pet hamster ran away. The management posted an immediate alert to the community and she was found safely. The maintenance team responds immediately and resolves my issues immediately. The apartments are large and feel like home. Search around and you will find that these units are very affordable for the area which is minutes away from Wynwood, Midtown and UM medical campus. I am very happy here and highly recommend this property.

I love the enhancements that Maria and her top-notch team have recently managed to make to the building, such as painting the exterior and interior areas. The Modera Team is very responsive to the residents' needs and requests. They always greet you with a smile! I really like that Modera is conveniently located near the Health District, Wynwood, Downtown, and MIA Airport. Keep up the great work!

This place feels like a home. Everyone is nice and always willing to help you. Moving here was the best decision ever!

In the health district so convenient for healthcare workers and students. Lots of smoking, frequent balcony fights, lack of 24 hour on-site security and/or support is a concern and a fairly recent change. I would not choose this complex today if I were looking for a temporary residence.

I moved in about a month ago. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The tenants are friendly and quiet. The neighborhood is very dog friendly. Many of the tenants have big dogs which is the main reason I chose Modera. The building is very clean and very well kept.

Considering the area of the location, the upkeep, and all it has to offer, Skylar Modera definitely is a value worthy living option.

I am a current resident at Modera Skylar, I definitely recommend this property to everyone searching for a living in the area. Living at Modera Skylar is like living in a Resort, from the spacious apartments to the most amazing amenities. Your privacy and access in the building is 5Star! Overall if seeking for positive experience with the personnel, Community manager and the way office responds to any needs of maintenance requests, MODERA SKYLAR IS THE PLACE TO BE.

Modera Skylar management is doing a fair job to improve the quality of the building. Unfortunately , everything is taking too long to be done. Gym, lounge are and pool are. In addition their maintenance personnel are not professional.

I rented at Modera Skylar for my daughter who is a current college student. The Manager provided amazing customer service since day one! I am in Property Management myself and was completely impressed. The way they run this Property is what Property Management is all about!

This place is great. I recently moved to Miami with my boyfriend and Modera Skylar was the first building we looked at. Billy in the leasing office was truly a huge reason we wanted to live here, he was knowledgeable, very professional, and impressive. I couldnt be happier with our decision.

Modera Skylar has an extraordinary management team. Caitlin and Maria hold themselves to such a high standard of professionalism. There is not one single detail missed. They are very proud of the property that they manage and it shows on their presentation process, application, move in and follow up. The amenities are well kept with more updates coming up. We are very pleased with our decision to move to Modera Skylar.

The neighborhood is good, overall apartments are good size with amazing amenities. Gym, pool and a common resident lounge are available. Walking score of the neighborhood is good

Caitlin and Maria, the property managers are great! They care and make sure that every aspect of your life is taken care of. They are literally life savers! I went to talk to them about a personal situation and they were willing to help me!!!! They are not just typical property managers who worry about collecting rent. They actually care about the betterment of the property and it's tenants.

It was such an easy process to register and move it. Staff are amazing- so friendly and helpful. Very clean when I moved in.

Moving to Modera Skylar was hassle free, the leasing office was always there for me to answer my questions and to help me moving in. I really enjoy living close to everything. The builiding is being renovated, and everyone working at Modera is super nice. Special thanks to Maria at the leasing office.

When I moved into Modera I was very impressed with the ammenities and the overall appearance of the community but since moving in it has been a continuous decline with no true action or resolution.

We are really happy with our decision to move in! The new management seems highly motivated to make long-term, positive changes to the building and community.

The new management team is the best. Very hardworking and doing everything to make this a better and upgraded place to live. A lot of construction going on which makes it a little rough but they are bettering the building and its showing.

This is the seventh management team we've had in four years but it's the first one that I'm really seeing attempts to address many of the issues that have plagued this building. I commend them for their effort and for achieving results. Thanks and please keep up the good work! We notice!

The Modera Skylar was the perfect living solution. The units are more spacious than the average apartment. The Balconies have great views on either side. The staff is very professional and friendly. The location is very convenient, close to almost anything in the Miami area.

Me gusta la sensación de vivir en Miami en una zona céntrica, acogedora, con amenidades, que pueda movilizarme sin necesidad de tener vehículo.

Definitivamente es un buen lugar para rentar y vivir por su buena ubicación, tranquilidad y excelente atención del personal que trabaja aquí.
