We've been here a few months now and so far it's been great. When I go for my am Starbucks in the office, the workers there seem chill. They usually say hi and ask if I need anything. The pool is nice. I wish it was a foot deeper or so, but the temp is pretty steady and it's always clean. The area is decent too, I'd say below average in noise being so close to the city. I'm glad we found this place, if things stay like they are we're going to stay.

This is one of the best places I have lived. The management cares about us. The have been doing residents events, the office loves my pet. If you needing a great place to live come check out the Monroe Come see Ryan, Lisa or James. Oh by the way I can get a Starbucks coffee!! Huge plus.

Terrible property! Many car break-ins, homeless people sleeping everywhere in the building stealing things and snatching your door cameras off your door. Dog poop everywhere, management never answers nor responds to tenant's complaints. Apartments are cheaply made falling apart and maintenance is delayed responding to fix things. I'm not sure what is going on with this property, but it needs to be tore down and rebuilt. This is a nightmare on elm street!

If you could avoid leasing here please do. The property has poor management. They aren’t responsive or concerned with resident issues. Secured access is continuously not working or vandalized. If valet living doesn’t show up to take out the trash for days or weeks. We are still expected to pay. There continuous issues in the common areas. No wifi, property damage and no janitorial cleanups. Neighbors dogs poop anywhere even when though they have a designated area. They poorly make ready unit’s upon leasing. From moving in and transferring units. They weren’t in good condition and the expectation is for you to be accepting or not notice. There is a high retention rate in the office open this property opening 2 years ago, which effect residence. Lease amount isn’t consistent or divide as they said in regards to sewer, water etc. management will also delay in responding emails regarding charges or paperwork that may result into you paying additional fees. Residents move out more then they move in. Delivery carriers cannot access the property if leasing isn’t open or they don’t piggy back behind a resident. Business center has no wifi, printer or computer do I was confused by its existence. Club room and pool is beautiful though.

Even though the apartments are spacious and "luxury". The whole complex is very poorly constructed. Management doesn't communicate and try to make up some really weird lies with what's going on in the building. Fire alarms going on A LOT of the time, gate never closes, doors with key fobs never work, fans wobblin and about to fall everywhere. Keep looking for other properties because you will regret it.

Do not sign here, you will regret it. Management does not care about your concerns whatsoever. Even after multiple car breaks ins and theft, they act like it never happened. It is unsafe, dirty, and the complete opposite of luxury. Steer clear of Asset Living.

I have nothing to add or contribute to the reviews below, because there are too many complaints to name and I do not have time to waste. What I will say is, the management's responses to other reviews claiming that residents are making up incidents and that theft/burglary/etc. are "unheard of" is a complete lie. I know multiple neighbors PERSONALLY that I can call out BY NAME that have had their things stolen, cars broken into, and even cars stolen. Don't let management fool you like he fooled us.

Where to begin I’ve held off on a review since moving in this June to see if management would pull it together. Unfortunately things just get worse and worse if you ever come across a property under asset living run. Just run. Here’s a list of things they absolutely do not care about. * Dog crap and pee in the hallways elevators and common areas in the building and even more outside on the property * Community safety the building still has TWO doors that remain unlocked at all times. We have had squatters in the storage units. Random men roaming the hallways checking if apartments are open countless packages and porch items stolen. * A total of FIVE car break-ins/attempts. Don’t worry Ruben will be sure to turn a blind eye and act like they never happened. Why so many break ins ? Well surprise surprise the gates to the property aren’t closed. If you ask management depending on the day you might get a wide variety of excuses. * Parking is a literal nightmare there are not enough spots for the residents and people have to double park in the fire lanes. But regardless the building was planned poorly fire alarms constantly going off. Giant dips in carpeting and floors. Leaks in units. Just poor construction all around masked by paint and the promise of luxury amenities that still have yet to be completed.
I see management responding to these reviews, and as someone who currently lives here, I’d like to broadcast that the amenities are in fact not all open. The pool is not open, and now the season for it has almost completely passed. I actually just reviewed my emails to make sure I didn’t miss an announcement that it’s been opened, and as of 11/08/21, it has not. The “locked” door to the clubhouse is never actually locked, and the same goes for the gym. I had a yoga mat stolen from the gym cubbies (that allegedly is protected by security cameras). That isn’t the only theft I’ve experienced at this property either. Don’t get me started on the abysmal parking situation. Good luck finding a spot late at night when you come home. There’s constantly dog waste everywhere. All-in-all, this place has a lot of issues. I was attracted to the low price I signed on for, but knowing I won’t get that discount when I re-sign, there’s no way I’m paying full price for this unit. Look elsewhere. Also not at all surprised to see management blatantly lying in their responses here, very on brand for how they’ve been treating residents lately. Not safe. Parking gate foes not close. We have had multiple car break ins. Additionally, packages are stolen regularly, the pool was promised June 15th and it’s now October and we are STILL waiting. Asset Management leadership has failed the residents and does not care. Worst property management company that I have experienced.

Is this review for the correct property?To bring you some comfort, our Amazon package locker is secure and onsite (and it's made of metal), and we haven't received any reports of multiple car break-ins? This place has been under construction since I moved here in May. It is advertised as a luxury apartment but only half of the amenities are actually available. You have not had a pool, grille, security or sufficient parking. Don't make the mistake of signing the lease. After you sign they aren't concerned with your request.

I have lived at The Monroe since August 23 2021. I was hoping I would not have to leave a review and that the mgmt company Asset Living would advocate for its tenants, but my frustrations, and those of my neighbors have been met with a long list of different excuses and a dismissive attitude. The 1st phase of tenants moved in knowing there would be construction. They were all promised a $750 gift card. I was a part of the 4th phase when construction was meant to be done. So far in October, the pool is incomplete, yet residents on the interior of the building are being charged a fee to look at a still under construction pool area. Parking and security are also an issue. Since they are still under construction they cannot close the gates to keep things secure. This means parking spaces are taken by guests and neighboring communities forcing residents to park on red curbs, in handicap spaces, or on end caps. Also, anyone can walk the corridors at any time of the day or night. The police were called recently for a transient walking the fourth floor seeing if he could find an open door knob. Unfortunately when a work order is placed, communication is poor. It's not unreasonable to ask that mgmt respond to emails or be available in the office to help or give updates. Instead most residents feel ignored by mgmt, and when you are lucky enough to corner someone, you are dismissed with an excuse. I have been asking for nearly 3 mos to have repairs made in my unit. Every time I ask for an update, I get a different excuse. The delays in construction have been blamed on everything from COVID, to goods shortages, to family deaths. It is always a different excuse. Tenants are bearing the brunt of these delays, and management is not willing to offer even the smallest concession. But, if a tenant violates balcony policy, parks incorrectly when they want you to move, or is a moment late on rent there is assuredly a fee. For the time, I do not recommend the Monroe.
