The O'Hare International Airport is 17 miles north east, the Cosley Zoo is about three miles southwest, and Wheaton College is about two miles south in nearby Wheaton. Submitted an urgent request because my dryer stopped working randomly and maintenance came the very next day very promptly and had it fixed in less than an hour!! Thank you!!
Quite literally one of the worst places to live. Dirty carpets, mold, no hot water half the time, etc. Currently have rodents living in my walls.
The phone numbers provided on their website never get to the on-site team. I am a prospective customer, I have scheduled a virtual tour more than 5times but it never happens. The off-site team keeps telling me someone will call or that a virtual tour has been set up but nothing happens. I have called more than 8times in regards to this issue but it hasn't been made right.

We moved in and gave a month deposit plus $ 200 and the apartment with the grated and stained microwave, the super grated sink, the paint stained kitchen doors, the grated oven, a blind is missing, and they don't want to change anything.

Thr property was very nice, the staff not so much. Agreed to rent the place. I was given a not so user friendly tablet to do all my own paperwork. Was dealing with an untrained 12 year old staff member who wasn't very helpful. Her trainer was less helpful and seemed angry when you asked for help. After spending 30 - 40 minutes of signing up, the apartment I wanted is now unavailable. The price went up without notice during the time I spent signing up. You gotta be kidding me? Sounds like a used car dealer bait and switch. Seeing as though I was made to feel like I was a burden when I asked for help, I decided to look elswhere. If it wasn't for the poor customer service experience I would soon probably be a tenant. Thank you Charnee for making me feel unwelcome.

The apartments are freshly remodeled and in top shape along with the amenities in the club house facility. However more importantly this property management staff from Gloria to Ilene, Janae, and Trish all truly care about their tenants. Every interaction I have had has been genuine and I am excited to live here for another year! If you are looking for an apartment that is in a great location, low maintenance, holds competitive rent pricing, and has authentic people that care about you as an individual not just a tenant? I feel like i really got lucky this time around. I have had nothing but great experiences with the office and maintenance staff. In addition, the worst neighbor ever that I left my last place due to is no longer stomping above me at all hours of the night! Thanks Monroe Apartments!!!

Scheduling a viewing was like pulling teeth. The phone number on the website went to a call center, and literally any question you ask will be answered with, "Let me contact the property and ask them, they'll follow up with you in several days (which they did not)," and kind of defeats the purpose of having a human person answering the phone at all. My fiance and I never heard back from the property about our questions, but finally allowed the contact center to schedule an appointment and e-mail us the address. We drove an hour away to the appointment, only to find it's the wrong address and that the property isn't open for another hour, so we sit in the car for an hour trying to entertain an antsy 2 year old. Once it opens, no apologies are given, just a thoughtful, "Oh. So anyway.." We loved being close to work, the fireplace, and the open kitchen layout though, so through a lot of perseverance on our part, we finally got an application processed and moved in. It was six months into a 12 month lease before we received our fob for access to the gym, pools, sauna, and technology center. We went in to the office several times every week just to be told it isn't resolved yet (which they conveniently left out during the lease signing process), and request for financial accommodation for loss of access are ignored. Their justification was "didn't we tell you? we actually waived the amenities fee during leasing, so you're welcome!" They told us we could have just walked down the road to use their sister property during office hours, but we both WORK during office hours, so not exactly a solution to their breaking our lease agreement. Who takes off personal time from work to be allowed to workout or swim at your community? Pair that with towing guests, inaccurate information about renewal prices given much later than quoted, neighbors smoking on the balcony below us in non-smoking apartments, dogs left on their balconies being allowed to bark 24 hours a day, and constant sirens, I think it may be time to move on
