Terrell Heights is a hidden gem amongst the ever-growing suburban communities of San Antonio. Ideally located, Terrell Heights is just six miles north of Downtown San Antonio and is home to the McNay Art Museum, which houses a diverse collection in a renovated 1920s mansion.
The neighborhood is about two blocks northwest of Fort Sam Houston, making it a great choice for service members who want to be close to work. Some of San Antonio’s most popular attractions are well within reach, too: the San Antonio Zoo, Splashtown San Antonio, the AT&T Center, and San Antonio College. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to keep you entertained within the boundaries of Terrell Heights. There are restaurants and shopping opportunities on Austin Highway, the community’s west border.

Property Ratings at The Montecito Apartments
Me and my husband have tried to rectify to Office manager Angel and her father Lyod about a recent raccoon problem, the noise complaint that it happening each and every night from apartment 75 , and how the neighbors are attempting to climb to our balcony. Angel the Office manager has failed to address these recurring problems.I’ve documented when I called “Animal Control” date and time they arrived. This shouldn’t have been an issue at all, and should have been done same day when I initially spoke Angel about it.She should’ve been on TOP of this issue and instead told me and my husband to wait until morning for “Pest control” when this clearly is a “Animal Control” problem not knowing the difference doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve documented how many times the police arrived from times and dates I’ve called them about on going noise complaints coming from next door as well as a police report for attempting to climb to our balcony on 11/19/2024 at 2:30 am. Angel the office manager has failed to maintain a clean and safe environment for the two of us to continue living here. Me and my husband have to Violate our lease agreement and move out by default because Angel the Landlord refused to comply with us. It hasn’t been even two whole weeks since our stay here and already this is a bloody mess. With that being said I confronted her and asked Angel who her boss is as well as who the owner of these apartments belong to. As I will take this to the small claims court.Be aware of the people running these apartments because that’s truly how they can either make or break the environment of the residents life and safety. Hope this helps anyone looking to lease here.
was told I could see an apartment June 15th. I show up and the walls are moldy and roaches are running and the air conditioner has been taken. The floors are dirty and the manager called Audrey is painting the wall. After I show up, she leaves as if she was there just to stage the apartment so that she could tell me about an upstairs apt that was available. OWNER: you should check your staff. They did nothing to make sure this apartment #5 was available to rent. Your apartments are falling apart. The pictures online are lies.
