Super slow elevators, garage doors took two months to fix (come on people, we're in DFW). There had to be a repair service that could complete the fix quicker. You left every single residents vehicle vulnerable to theives. My bike got stolen simply because your facility was not secure.

There is a significant lack of security throughout the building. The garage door is routinely left open, creating an open invitation for anyone to enter without restriction. Additionally, the elevators are not integrated with the building's security system (for over a month now!), meaning there are no safeguards in place to prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing any floor. This leaves the entire building vulnerable, as anyone can freely move about without any security checks or barriers in place. The absence of these basic protective measures poses a serious risk to the safety and privacy of residents or employees.
The team who replaced my washer was so kind and helpful! I was so impressed with the speed in which they worked and overall kindness. They are amazing and it gives me confidence knowing I have a great team in case I need anything else fixed in my unit. Thanks team!

You have to get a handle on maintenance- hot tub is green, pool area hasn’t been tended to in a week and is a mess, garbage areas are disgusting- parking garage needs to be deep cleaned- and why does it take 2-3 weeks for maintenance requests? I’ve had a broken window ever since I moved in?
I really do love the apartment itself, my apartment is super nice, the pool can be nice, the people are kind and my best friend even came here because I recommended it. But it’s gotten out of hand. The garage not working for half a year now, the elevators always being down aka didn’t pass inspection, the trash room is closed down with trash up to your chin and flies everywhere, the pool constantly has algae in it, the hot tub rarely works, it takes forever for them to complete a work order, etc. I know it’s hard because they are understaffed… so I do feel bad. Corporate, if you are seeing this, the maintenance are good people but NEED HELP. It’s insane how much things are broken, don’t work or piled up. Come help your men before you really get awful reviews and it gets out to the community!!
Garage gates inoperative for several months with little to no communication on when this will be fixed. Trash room inoperative for several weeks with no communication on when it will be fixed and we are expected to walk throughout the building to find a new trash room while carrying heavy bags?! At the moment; trash is piling up in the broken trash room and based on current temperatures, the smell is going to be horrible and might see an increase of pests in the area. Not enough recycling bins throughout the entire building.
The South Gate has been down for over 3 months. We keep getting promised that it will be fixed, but no changes have been made.
My experience has been great so far, the community is super friendly.
The maintenance team is amazing! The process of submitting and the follow is much appreciated as it is simple and easy.

Do not lease at The Monterey. The elevators are always broken, multiple cars have been broken into or stolen, the leasing office was burglarized, and there are so many fees added onto your rental rate for amenities that are subpar.

I absolutely love living at the Monterey! I feel extremely safe here and the walls are very thick so it’s quiet. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the property. I won’t be moving anytime soon!
I love living at The Monterey! I feel very safe living here. The staff in the leasing office is extremely helpful. I wanted to move from a studio to a one bedroom and the manager left me move a month early!
I asked all the right questions but was not given transparent answers. Everything is broken, the system to add new residents into it to enable then to get into the garage, to let people up to your apt. Elevators are down, garage doors were broken for weeks, the front doors. This is all in one month.
Maintenance is always so quick and professional. Really pleased with all they do and their reliability.
Overall, I enjoy living here. I do struggle with how frequently doors and elevators are broken, and then how long they stay broken.
Management is prompt and willing to help. Deliveries can get frustrating and confusing after leasing hours. But I love the location and I feel taken care of on the whole
The Monterey no longer upholds it's "Luxury" title. The common spaces are dirty and mismanaged. Rent and fees is way too high for just the unit. There is seemingly no improvement in amenities upkeep
I would not recommend this apartment to anyone who values peace and quiet in their home or anyone who values the leasing office speaking to them with a shred of respect or consideration.
The team is just great - always happy to explain things, help out, and will jump in every time.
The apartment is a great layout and the value for the money is there. The only issue we have is our dishwasher broke and the response time was very slow to address. When someone finally showed up they didn’t fix the problem or provide next steps

Overall happy with the apartment There seem to be a lot of issues with the gates, elevators, security at front door not working, and so many pet accidents all over the carpet on my floor. The carpet is so new but so many pet stains all over it
I have a mixed experience living here. The apartments are nice, location is great, and everything looks nice on the outside, but there are constantly vital security features broken or “under maintenance.” The elevators are constantly broken, the garage gates don’t work half the time and have been broken on numerous occasions and take months to fix, and the front door is always unlocked because the fob is always broken.
We love it here. But we’ve had 5 packages stolen from our door. I’ve told managers about it but nothing has changed. We have lockers but they still leave packages. I doubt we will renew. Too much headache.

The Monterey maintenance team are the best. Every time I place a workorder in, they complete my workorders so fast and correctly. Then the office calls to follow up to see if everything was okay and if I need anything else. Overall, the customer service in the office and maintenance team are amazing. Thank you!!

I’ve completely loved living at The Monterey! It is so clean, so safe and so quit. The leasing office team is by far the most helpful out of any place I’ve lived. I intend on renewing my lease when it’s time.
Maintenance has been prompt and communicative, the staff is so friendly and accommodating and you literally cannot find a better location! Some things throughout the unit are a tad dated, and for the monthly cost I did expect a bit more updated however it sounds like updates are in the works this month. Overall, this is the happiest I've ever been with an apartment so far - and you will never find a more dog friendly place!
We lived at Monterey for 2 years and overall enjoyed the apartment and amenities, but we were forced to leave due to ridiculous price increase and were also hit with high move-out fees to add insult to injury. While we lived there maintenance staff was always friendly and very helpful in fixing things when we needed, but they definitely need to hire more staff to keep up with the cleanliness of hallways, elevators, stairwells, etc. Almost daily there would be dog pee or poo in at least one area. Elevators were often broken or left on "reserved" mode hours after they were done being used, many times only 1 out of 4 elevators was functioning. Parking garage gates and doors were often broken and it looked like a homeless person was living in one of the less used basement stairwells at one point. Despite all that, we loved our neighbors and the pool crowd and were planning on staying another year. This didn't happen due the INSANE raising of rent that has pushed out more people than I can count, ourselves included. After our first year, the rent increase was negotiated to around $60, which was not a big deal as they had done some improvements on the hallways. This year however, our renewal offer was an increase of over 25% of the current rent even though there were no new improvements. When I went to the leasing office to negotiate a lower rent increase, I was very disappointed in the cold and dismissive response that I received. After that exchange we decided to not resign and ended up finding a nicer condo for cheaper than we were paying before the original rent increase. So I guess it worked out for the best for us :) But we are still not pleased with Windsor and wanted to warn others of their absurd price increases, move-out fees, and lack of empathy for their tenants.
The Monterey by Windsor is an excellent place to live. The staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable. I was very impressed by the amenities and cleanliness of the building. I feel safe living here. The location is great with many things to do nearby. I would highly recommend The Monterey by Windsor for those looking to live in the area. I have toured other apartments in the area and they do not compare to The Monterey.
The Monterey by Windsor exceed my expectation. The office team is extremely friendly and they take care of everything quickly. Maintenance is great!! The property truly looks like the pictures online. Very clean and beautiful. Super happy to call The Monterey my home.
The Monterey is a quality, upscale, resort-style apartment complex in the heart of Uptown Dallas. It is led by a team of friendly, driven individuals. I highly recommend living in the Monterey if you're looking for a nice apartment with great amenities. It's particularly a great place to live if you have a dog.
I moved into the Monterey without having seen it in person and it has exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. Not only is it actually as nice as in the pictures, it is also secure, well lit and clean. The staff is very efficient at getting things done and is also very friendly and welcoming. Being in such a secure building where things run smoothly and the staff is so friendly had translated into a friendly and warm atmosphere amongst residents in the building. I almost never leave reviews, but the Monterey really exceeded my expectations and I want to acknowledge that. I hope that this helps someone else considering a move from out of town.

Excellent building and great team in the leasing office
My air conditioner went out on a Sunday. Within 3 minutes of calling the emergency number Alfredo was calling me to let me know he was looking in to it. Within 15 minutes he had my air conditioner working. I can't say enough about the AMAZING customer service this maintenance team provides.

I moved into the Monterey 2 weeks ago and could not be more pleased! The building is beautifully renovated, the amenities are great and is located in a safe area. I did have the chance to tour the Monterey before moving, but I was amazed with the cleanliness of the building in and outside of our room. The leasing office was so helpful and I am so excited to live here for the next year!

I feel very lucky that I "fell" into this apartment, since I was living in another apartment in the building and was planning to move because I needed more room. My new apartment is really nice, great layout and extremely quiet, which is what I was looking for.
Office staff is amazing. Building isnt the prettiest or nicest but offers good amenities. Great location.
I submitted a request to repair the hinge on the bathroom vanity. It was completed within a day. And the maintenance worker was very professional and fast. The portal makes the whole process easy
