Irvine Business Complex, or IBC, combines several residential, mixed use, and commercial zones for the ultimate live-work-play neighborhood. IBC begins on the west side of Downtown Irvine and extends to the Costa Mesa Freeway. The John Wayne Airport is located on the southwest side of the neighborhood. This newer neighborhood features modern architecture, palm trees, and wide sidewalks that lead past office buildings filled with high-tech companies, luxury hotels, and high-end restaurants.

First off I don’t usually do this but I’ve been treated so well at the Murphy and enjoy living here so much that I felt I needed to leave some sort of feedback. I’ve lived at the Murphy roughly a year and have seen a huge improvement since my move in date, at first It was your typical property, location was great for me and amenities were awesome but it was lacking something as far as that “home” feel outside of my apartment. I have to say though in the last 6 months or so the environment has changed so much for the better. I’ve noticed little changes here and there as far as cleanliness and improvements but most of all the changes in staff in the leasing office is huge! You can tell they have a sense of pride for their property and it’s tenants, it definitely adds a sense of warmth to the place and is much appreciated by myself and others. Keep up the good work and thank you for all you do to make the Murphy a pleasure to live at!
I lived at the Murphy for over a year and it is by far the worst place ever! The leasing team is very slow at responding and when they finally do respond, they usually provide the wrong answers. This place is extremely loud with cars constantly racing down Murphy and Alton. The building is poorly built as whenever trucks drive by, the whole building shakes. There is constant dog poop throughout the complex. People take their dogs at all hours of the day and just let their dogs bark, even if it’s 2am. They’ll also sneak in mysterious, unexplainable charges. So many people have tried to break their lease due to safety reasons as cars have been broken into, the leasing office’s solution is to Airbnb it!!!! Shocking!!! There are units around the complex with self installed ring camera and keypad lock, obvious signs of Airbnb units. DO NOT RENT HERE! You’ll 100% regret it.

We were some of the first people to move in to the Murphy after it was built. The leasing and management staff was extremely helpful getting us acclimated to our new home! Beautiful community with great amenities. We never hear our neighbors to the sides, above and below we hear sometimes. Maintenance is quick and efficient and they are always walking around cleaning and keeping things up! Very happy resident.
