As its name implies, the Museum District is home to 19 museums. This historic neighborhood is home to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Children's Museum of Houston, the Contemporary Art Museum, and other cultural centers. Each year over 8 million visitors explore this cultural hub! Residents also have access to one of Houston’s favorite parks, Hermann Park, massive green space housing the Houston Zoo, an Amphitheatre, gardens, and more. Great for students, faculty, and staff, the district is also convenient to several universities including Texas Southern University and Rice University. After you’re done exploring museums, the Museum District also has several coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, and nightlife spots. For even more shopping, dining, and entertainment options, Midtown and Downtown Houston aren’t far from the neighborhood. This bustling cultural mecca has surprisingly affordable apartments along with more upscale rentals available as well.

Thank you so much for your kindess and support! - The Museum Tower Management Team
The Museum Tower is a very special residence. The location in the Museum District is fabulous. The staff are always accommodating and courteous. I love coming into the building and I always feel genuinely welcomed in! I feel very safe in the building and in the garage; I like having a designated parking space. The units are spacious, with open floor plans, very tall ceilings, and plenty of windows. My large balcony space allows me to relax with my friends, cats, and plants! I have enjoyed meeting new friends here at the monthly mixers. I highly recommend the Museum Tower!

Beautiful, safe, and well maintained with concierge serviced building with many longtime residents. residents get together events in the evenings. It truly a great place to live in. On top of all of these points, it's located in such wonderful and convenient location. what else did I miss?

We are honored to have such lovely residents! Thank you so much for your positive review! - Morgan, Community Manager, The Museum Tower
Negotiating the leasing agreement was a little bumpy (had to re-submit some data more than once), however, moving in was easy and the management team helped me solve several minor issues. Once we took up residence everyone; management, maintenance, valet, doorman, etc. have all exceeded expectations. I am a very happy tenant.

Hi - thanks for offering feedback. We look forward to improving on the leaseing experience. We'll be sure to share with the team here at The Museum Tower Apartments!
Not only is The Museum Tower located in one of the most ideal locations in all of Houston, with soaring 14’ ceilings and glass windows ceiling to floor to take in the magnificent views of the city, it also goes beyond the visual beauty with excellent valet and maintenance service if ever needed.
Property Manager at The Museum Tower, Responded To This Review
We are thrilled you are enjoying the neighborhood and the special features our community offers. Thank you for hilighting our incredible team members. Our valet and maintenance professionals truly care for our residents and we are so glad it shows. Your encourgement is appreciated!
A home is more than just four walls—it's an escape, a retreat, and most importantly, a sanctuary of peace. Yet, my journey with Museum Tower’s Greystar building management was anything but peaceful. In fact, it was marked by a consistent drumbeat of disturbances, underscored by the frustrating silence of its building management. Over the last 30 days, the construction noise from the pool demolition beneath my unit was not a mere inconvenience—it was a daily ordeal. And this was just a fragment of a larger picture. The building is currently undergoing extensive renovations. While renovations are, in principle, a sign of progress and betterment, the reality here is different. Amenities that are often the selling points of such a place are currently non-operational. That fancy pool and patio? Down. The lavish common area? Unavailable. And for those considering moving in, here's another thing to note: the ongoing construction is likely to impact your unit in some capacity over the next year. Whether it's noise pollution, dust, or yet another unexpected amenity closure, brace yourself for surprises. The most disheartening aspect of this entire experience was the lack of responsiveness from the building management. In times of disruption, a little empathy goes a long way. Sadly, my attempts to communicate with the local building management were met with a resounding silence. It took a direct appeal to the corporate general counsel, bypassing the usual channels, just to get an acknowledgment. To future renters eyeing Museum Tower under Greystar: While the brochures might paint a rosy picture, the on-ground reality is layered with challenges. And when those challenges arise, based on my experience, don't expect the building management to be your ally. It's a classic case of buyer (or in this instance, renter) beware. The physical infrastructure might be getting an upgrade, but the communication infrastructure, at least with the building management, needs a major overhaul. If there's one takeaway from my experience, it's this: when choosing a home, it's not just the tangible amenities but the intangible ones—like trust, responsiveness, and understanding—that matter most.

Museum Tower is set in a somewhat Green area as it is near parks and is ladened with large shade trees. Access to many museums is a plus. It is near good food service and automobile service. There is convenient public transport service. Of course, excellent medical care is near by.

Hi, thanks for your praise and kind comments about our team.
We have lived here 3 1/2 months and so far have no negative comments. Life in a high rise community of people could be so much noisier and less peaceful than here at Museum Tower. Wonderful view from the 15th floor and super space at almost 2400 sq ft. Love the valets, even though it is difficult to understand many of them. Management has always been there for us when we needed them. The entire team has been tremendously helpful during this long and difficult move. Many thanks to all of you??

The Museum Tower is an excellent place to live . A great location with a great service/staff , nice tenants and a clean, modern enviornment .
These apartments are gorgeous and clean and so incredibly comfortable. Each apartment is fabulous. The layout of our apartment is great, and so are the views! Perhaps the hallways and kitchens could be updated, but overall, it is exceptional. We love living here so much. The area surrounding the Museum Towers is full of green lush lawns and parks and museums. It is an incredible experience being here. We are buying a house for investment purposes, yet we are having anxiety about leaving such a convenient and comfortable place. The staff is out of this world helpful and kind. They are like family. Really, it is wonderful living here!
I feel secure here and the valet staff and concierges are unfailingly friendly and helpful.
The Concierge group here are the most accommodating crew imaginable as is the maintenance crew. The office staff is friendly and extremely helpful to residents. The people working here make me feel safe and well cared for.....The public areas could use refurbishing; i.e. clean the hallways, get the patio area into an inviting place to use. It would be nice to have an area for an exercise class. With COVID we are hiring trainers to come to our personal apartments as there is no common space to use.. I have a group of five to do yoga in my apartment. The exercise room is too crowded with equipment not used. A space for a small exercise group would be wonderful for many of us residents. Also the dog park is a sterile rectangle without any shade or water feature. If a dog park is to be used, it must be a place dog owners find utile. Artificial turf in sun flooded area in the Houston heat attracts no one. More residents have pets that need outdoor accommodations. It would definitely be a draw to have a useable pet area.
Excellent location and terrific views from the upper floors. Great staff. Some persistent problems with elevator and garage door function.
The Museum Tower is unique in many ways. The architecture is stunning and units are spacious. Balconies are large and private with great views. The management is very professional and responsive. The location of the building is very special being nestled in amongst the museums. I really love living here.
The staff here, from management to valets to maintenance team to cleaners are responsive, friendly, and extremely helpful. The valets are EXCELLENT. THEY never disappoint. They go way beyond expectations. I love the very secure feeling I have living here in this building. I love the location.
This is an exceptional place to live. Its beautiful, light, and comfortable. The staff is incredible and helps to make this place feel like a home I could live in forever.
I feel safe at the Museum Tower the team is always polite and respectful plus the location is perfect
the Museum Tower is a lovely place to live and made especially enjoyable but the front of house staff who are always cheerful and do everything they can to make life run smoothy.
My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed living here at Museum Towers. It has always been our intent to buy another home, but its truly going to be hard to give up the amenities and helpful staff after living here. Its a great place to live.
This is an incredible place to live. We always thought this would just be an interim stay after selling our home in Southampton, but it will take a mighty fine house to get us out of here. It is comfortable, well outfitted, beautiful interior, and the people are phenomenal.
I am extremely pleased with all of the staff who work here. The onsite management team are lovely to work with and always helpful when they can. I suspect many of the problems I noted above are not within their purview and belong to the upper level management at greystar headquarters. They should be more responsive.
We have lived here for 13 years. Great community. If the elevators worked and walls were painted and general items maintained. Wear and tear items addressed this would be a perfect place to live. It looks very tired and old
Terrific location, nice high-ceiling modern-looking apartments. Parking spaces unusually tight for this level of quality.
The Museum Tower, located in Houston’s Museum District, offers oversized rooms with 12’ open ceilings, which are reminiscent of industrial lofts in New York City. 18’ balconies and floor to ceiling windows provide stunning panoramic views. Amenities include 24-hour valet and concierge service, fitness center, and heated pool. The maintenance team and management staff offer prompt courteous service. The neighborhood, while lacking trendy restaurants, compensates with convenient transportation services, numerous parks and museums, including The Museum of Fine Arts, The Contemporary Arts Museum, and The Museum of Natural Science. The Menil Collection and the Rothko Chapel are nearby. Hermann Park, the Zoo, and the Texas Medical Center are minutes away. I am proud to call The Museum Tower my home. I feel welcome, safe, and secure in my cozy 18th floor apartment. I can’t think of a better place to hunker down.
I came to Houston in 2005 and have lived in The Museum Tower ever since, despite looking at other options from time to time. The building is in a perfect location - walkable to the museums, Rice University jogging path, the Houston Zoo, Herman Park which has a driving range/public golf course and the Texas Medical Center. There are also a variety of restaurants within walking distance which is very convenient. However, it is not the location as much as the entire staff that have kept me here for so long. They are like family. There are many residents, such as myself, who enjoy getting to know those who work so hard to make life easy for us and their presence brings a genuine level of comfort each time I'm greeted by any one of them. The property is very well managed and maintained and they do their very best to exceed expectations. It has been my home away from home for so long that I cannot imagine living anyplace else in Houston. The building has a charm like no other. The hallways are spacious and the 12 ft ceilings with floor to ceiling windows are wonderful. It is also very pet friendly and the perfect location for my Houston SPCA rescue dog, Lucy. I particularly appreciate the 24 hr Concierge Service as I know, no matter what time of day or night, someone will be there to help if ever needed. The Museum Tower also has a great Valet and Door Service staff that greet you with smiles each time we come home. It's just the best place to live in Houston.
