As its name suggests, North Bossier is a neighborhood spanning north of Downtown Bossier along the eastern banks of the Red River. The community also sits 14 miles north of Downtown Shreveport since Shreveport and Bossier City’s downtown districts are just minutes from one another. The area is a mix of residential and rural, getting more rural the farther north of Downtown Bossier City you get. Amenity-laden apartments and cozy single-family homes make up the rental options of North Bossier. While shopping and dining choices are readily available in both downtown areas, more shopping and dining destinations are located within North Bossier itself along Airline Drive.

Property Ratings at The Oasis
This apartment complex has really changed for the better. They have made upgrades and have made it look a lot nicer. They are quick to fix things when something breaks and the staff is super friendly. We have been here for 2 years and don't plan on leaving anytime soon.
Please save yourself and don’t move here. The air conditioning units are way to small for the apartments, they don’t spray for bugs. My home is kept clean and there’s roaches everywhere and maggots were coming out of my sink drain a few days ago. The neighbors are horrible and people’s things get stolen off their porches all the time. Maintenance does not come and fix anything ever. I have mold growing in the ceiling in my shower and just everything is raggedy. Please spare yourselves.
My name is Sharon and I live in St.Charles for several years.Ive see. the management come and go rude to tenant after they move in.Now I think they have gotten it right. YOU'RE greeted by Victoria who goes above and beyond her job duties she really cares..Misty the office manager get right back to you with any concern .When you have a staff like this it goes along way.
Theyre saying they have new management which is why I ignored prior reviews, but trust me it is the worst property management and apartment building I have ever stayed in. The most unprofessional and rude. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE or you will probably be just like me and my two neighbors right next to me who just moved in in the last 30 days handing in our 60 day notice to vacate. The property manager talks to you with disrespect on and off the property, she comes up to me at a gas station across the street telling me I shouldn't of "OPENED MY BIG FAT MOUTH" because my dad had called her because he rents multiple properties from them so he was handling the situation. I can go on and on and I have only lived there since April 7th. Let alone the first week my air conditioner wasn't working and the head maintenance went to take a look trying to act like they did not know that the place needed some updating. My electrical box was made up of wires that had caught on fire with a pile of ash on the bottom. just stay away
If I could give this review less than 1 star, I would. You absolutely get what you pay for. I had a gaping, leaky, moldy hole in my ceiling for 6 months that they wouldn't fix. The maintenance guy came, painted over it the first time and the second time (after the moldy water had busted through his paint and caused a bigger hole), he told me the people upstairs had a leaky AC and it would stop leaking in a week or two when they moved out. Honestly, after that I stopped trying to get it repaired. As far as routine maintenance matters, I asked them to either come st 3, when I got off work or to tell me a day to take off. They have 5 different maintenance techs and they told me they didn't start any jobs at 3 and they couldn't tell me a day to take off because they didn't work like that. Also, if your rent is not paid by the 3rd, they send you for eviction, which is something they do not tell you upon signing the lease. Also, there were 6 different assistant managers the year I lived there. The actual apartment isn't that bad but the grounds, managers and maintenance techs are horrendous. I walk in the mornings and evenings and on 2 different occasions, I found drug paraphernalia scattered about. The first time, I told the manager WHERE it was located and I ended up having to take her and the maintenance tech to the exact location because they didn't know where "behind apartments #xyz" was. What kind of property manager doesn't know her own complex? The second time I seen the stuff, I was 3 days from moving and thought telling them was fruitless.
The rent is nice and low, yes and would be okay if it were just me but the contractors hired here were working on this place the entire year I lived here and suddenly up and left one day? The place was destroyed by the time they left. I mean, yes the buildings are old and have fallen into great disrepair, but the "renovations" are half-hearted and ineffective. the electrical wiring is treacherous as well. everything blows for no reason, there aren't enough outlets for any American today, and my HVAC fried wires and components several times. Plus, it's a miracle if the understaffed MX team can get to your issue within a month! I mean, it took them a week and a half to get around to fixing the ceiling that fell in my daughter's bedroom. (also, the roof was never repaired so the leaks continued until I moved out. the contractors never properly the poorly done roofs before they uo and left. (I wonder what they were doing up there when they weren't flirting with the tenants...) So go and have a look at what you're ACTUALLY getting in to. (by the way the insurance they make you get doesn't cover water damage and BH Managment will refuse to pay for any damages at all. And don't bother sending them emails via their website. Their inboxes are obviously unmonitored.)
This apartment complex is really nice! I feel like I've upgraded being that I now live in a townhouse. It's great for me and my daughters.
Rent is cheap and you'll understand why. It's not the worst place to live but they don't take care of you in any way. They don't spray for bugs, they don't fix anything when it's broken (toilets, doors, holes in your ceiling, etc.) but there's no security deposit so again you get what you pay for. But they didn't even fix my front door after my house was broken into and I got robbed during my second month here. It's gated but they took the front gates out and it just stays open all the time. They do have decent sized pools, a gym, and laundry rooms. I guess for a couple of working young people it's not the worst place we could be living right now.
