Property Ratings at The Oceanaire
Very disappointed with management of this company they turned the elevators off voluntarily before last hurricane and now over 2 months later they are still not working awful hard for us up on the 3rd floor.
I moved here in June. I really like living here. Especially the beautiful view from my balcony of the courtyard, pool, and palm trees. The complex takes pride in its appearance as the grounds are always well-manicured. I especially love the white seashell ground covering, in lieu of mulch. And the wispy, grassy plant landscaping. They both give the complex a beachy, tropical feel. The office staff -especially Kris- has been very responsive in promptly & efficiently addressing all my maintenance requests. I really couldn't ask for much more in an apartment complex.

Greetings User, Thanks for the great review! We're thrilled that you had a great experience at our location. We work hard to provide customers with a great experience and look forward to continuing to do the same for you! Sincerely, The Oceanaire Team
We have lived here at Golf Terrace, now “Oceanaire” for nearly 50 years. This is our home. We have lived through tropical storms and hurricanes. Three different owners and several managers. Mostly good neighbors and some very good maintenance personal. They come and they go. But, my wife and I are still here. This July we were hit with a semi-power outage, that is, most things worked except oven, stove top, water heater, several outlets and the A/C, in July and August in FLORIDA. It took six weeks to get things running again. It took 51 days before the A/C was repaired. To top it off, we are going to have a rent increase and will be forced to pay $25 per month for someone to handle our trash, when the dumpster door is 8' from my front door. Then I am reminded “Be grateful for what you have” it could be worse.
Nice place to live very good staff in the office and the maintenance staff are polite and hard working. Nice pools and great location rent is reasonable also.

I absolutely love our community. All neighbors I come across are friendly. I love my apartment. It's been an awesome experience. I especially love the patio area. The apartment is perfect. I hope I can stay here for year's to come and make it a truly wonderful experience. Thank you kindly, Oceanaire. Thank you!

Everything has been great, staff is friendly, love the price and size of apartment. Oversized patios are a bonus. Grounds are well maintained, location is perfect for me and my needs. Community is quite and the walls are solid so you don't hear the neighbors.

It's such a great feeling to know that we left you with such a remarkable impression at The Oceanaire Apartments. We're overjoyed to see your rating and truly thank you for sharing!
It’s now at the lowest level it could go. Elevators broken, trash chutes locked and today the pool was locked as permit not renewed. Some residents have no power and residents are staying at hotels.
Over 14 years ago we chose this as our forever home. Owners and staff and things have changed. However, attention to details seem to be lacking. Our community needs to be power washed it's filthy outside. Other residents leave garbage just laying next to the garbage chute instead of taking it directly to the dumpster.
Very friendly Leasing Office and Maintenance team. Noise level isn’t bad. Convenient amenities. The main issue I have is the parking and the roads. Roads look like they could use a repaving, some potholes here and there. The visitor parking is awful. Only visitor spots are in the front and a few in the rear side and there’s fewer in the rear. So having guests over is a decent walk over if living in the back.
Avoid this location at any cost. The new management make the community inhabitable and for that I left my apartment after 4 years. With this new management the community start being dirty, elevators always broken, laundry machines been broken for months, the pool so dirty for the hole year , sun beds near the pool are black with mold, marijuana smell everywhere, disrepair, maintenance requests ignored, indifference leasing office workers, etc… Save your time and money with this dirty community.
It is very quiet here and I love that. The apartment is very comfortable. I am glad I am a part of this community. Oceanaire Community! I'm happy. My cat is happy. The apartment complex has very kind people here also. I also love the space on the screened patio. Lovely. Spacious are of the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room & dining room. Was very clean here also. Thank you Oceanaire for a wonderful place to call my home.
Everyone has been amazing!! The staff in office is super friendly and extremely helpful whenever I have a problem. The grounds are very clean and well kept.
I am a new resident and my experience so far is very good. Nice quiet complex and friendly neighbors. Can’t wait to check out the beautiful pool!
After a change in management, the situation deteriorated significantly. The roof has been leaking for an entire year, a window has remained broken for six months, and my maintenance request to have dusty balcony screens replaced was refused by a newly hired leasing office staff member. I would rate this location less than one star if possible. The Oceanaire Apartments have seen a marked decline in both service and ratings with the new owners and management. The leasing office specifically marked a significant downturn in service quality. Communication has hit a new low; emails, voiced concerns, and voicemails are routinely ignored. Under Ashley's management, despite issues not always being resolved, efforts were made to address them, and apologies were offered for any inconvenience. However, under the new management there seems to be a lack of concern or apologies for the inconvenience experienced. Maintenance issues can linger for months without resolution and only taken seriously if the health department is contacted or if your lawyer step in.
Living at the Ocenaire has been a great experience! It’s a quiet community with very spacious apartments. The amenities are lovely and the community is very clean.
Not horrible but parking sucks, need way more visitor spots, and each apartment should get 2 parking permits no matter what, none the less not a bad place to live
No complaints for us. Renting here has been a pleasure, unfortunately, the rent in the area has just gotten ridiculously expensive. The facilities are great and maintenance workers are great.
Great staff and maintenance. Love the residence and it’s a great neighborhood. Very quiet and you are located next to the everything on east bay. You have corner stores, beach up the street, and the mall not to far from here.
So far I haven't had any bad experience. They just need to get their maintenance team right. The parking really sucks. There is not enough of visitors parking. The tow company sucks as well. If the had more visitors parking in the back everything will be okay.
The oceanaire is a well neatly place and with plenty of space and plenty of room space for the family or couples and the neighbors are quite and respectful I feel safe and comfortable
Not cleaned properly ,no washer/dryer that I am paying extra rent for. Hard to get someone in there the to answer phone 90 percent of the time you must leave a message and hope theycall back same day
I've only lived here one day, but I am loving the location and experience. The leasing office was very friendly and helpful. Sofia was so friendly and easy to talk to.
The oceanaire is a great place to live! Quiet, spacious, and the people are respectful and kind. The office staff is helpful and caring. Maintenance is great, they can be slow sometimes but overall they are wonderful.
I have just signed my third lease. We love the location here and it’s very quiet. Maintenance has always come either same day or next day depending on time request was placed. The community has changed for the better just within the three years we have been here with upgrades to the property amenities.
I love when i come home and open the door to my rental home. Spacious, quiet, safe and nice neighbors. I have rented here for 8 years and hope for amenities to be upgraded.
We love Oceanaire. Never have we ever lived in an apartment quite like them. We love living near a pool and freshly cut grass everyday. Nothing quite like them!
4 stars are for the wonderful neighbors I've met over the years. Some of which were a enormous help when my husband died last year. They get the4 stars. Laundry rooms 1 star. For the past 6 years machines don't work properly, no ventilation, but they painted murals that are ugly and we have monthly food trucks! The storage area was redone and priced 5 times what it was. I have not done laundry on site for 6 years. Even though it's a hassle and costs me more to load it in my car and go across the street, their machines work, it's clean, and has A/C
At the time I decided to rent here the reviews were pretty decent and there were a lot about how good they were about making repairs. However, since I’ve been here I have had a very difficult time getting anything needing fixing addressed. Upon moving here a month and a half ago the amount of things in disrepair in my apartment should have been a huge red flag to begin with however you sign your lease and pay first months rent before even getting keys to your apartment. I was assured anything needing repair would be taken care of. I have put in several work orders but only a few small things have been fixed. I have not been able to use my mailbox since I’ve moved in because the keys I was provided with did not fit the lock to my mailbox. I have a huge water stain on my dining room ceiling with what looks like black mold growing. This is a huge problem considering I have a toddler and fear for his health with this issue. Now one of my toilets isn’t working. No one at the front desk ever answers the phone. I’ve left voicemails that go unreturned and I work during the office hours. This is literally such a disheartening experience. Aside from all of that I love the layout of my apartment, the pool, and the location. I thought I would be a long term tenant here, but I’m pretty much being forced into leaving this terrible review just in hopes of getting the issues in my apartment addressed. I’m honestly sad to have to do it. I just want to live in a nice apartment. Just asking for what I’m paying for.

We have lived here for 49 years and our experiences are too numerous to write here. We love the apartment and especially the large porch. It is a very safe place here and there have been very few incidents of trouble through all these years. There once was many great activities such as Bingo at the clubhouse with snacks. Also wedding receptions at the clubhouse, birthday parties and many other activities. We also had contests for best decorated windows and doors for many occasions . Holidays and especially Christmas. It was fun to see all the work people put into it. There used to be a playground in phase 2 . Swings ,slides etc. and a pool. In the building that was there we had a pool table and Ping Pong. Fun activities. There is a lot more, but I would run out of space. We appreciate everything that has been done for us for all these years and hope to enjoy as many more as we can. We just renewed our lease and it will be 50 years here. We hope everyone enjoys their time here.

We have lived here for over 13 years now. We decided a long time ago that this would be our "forever home". We are centrally located near so many wonderful business's.

We are so pleased you have called our community "home" for so many years! We are excited you have decided to make this your forever home!
Not great. Won't be staying another year. Tim the assistant manager is awful. He is rude and does like to talk to anyone. He only wants emails.
We love Oceanaire! They are always quick to answer maintenance needs when they arise and they keep the apartment complex in pristine condition, year round.
Property Manager at The Oceanaire, Responded To This Review
We're delighted to hear about your experience! We are glad that any maintenance needs have been taken care of quickly. As always, our team is here to assist you!
Nothings maintained Staff rarely does as agreed Your health is not valued Only nice area is where they show prospects Apt repairs take months Pool filter doesn’t work Gross sorry we moved here
I have lived here since 2016. When they changed ownership, things seemed to have gone a little downhill with the pricing of the apartments being more than it should be. The new appliances are nice in the upgraded apartments, however it seems that they put a band-aid over things that should have been done better or re done completely. The closet in the second bedroom is half of what it used to be because someone thought it was a good idea to put a stackable washer and dryer in the closet, which only gives you half use of it. Tenets still smoke joints on the patio/indoors despite getting letters on the doors to not do so, which seep into neighboring apartments.
Living at the oceanaire is like living at a beach resort. The neighbors are friendly and quiet and the staff are so kind. The apartments care spacious and the property is well kept.
Our experience at the Oceanaire has been pleasurable over the past year. Maintenance requests have been attended to punctually and the lease renewal process was handled smoothly.
I am liking the new monthly food trucks and the holiday get together that the new owner of the complex have been doing..I feel like they are trying to make this complex more of a community. And that is a good thing
I've had an amazing experience with everyone I've encountered here so far. And I adore my apartment it's very spacious and nicely updated!!!!!
So far it's not bad, parking is a little rough at times, and noticed people go a little to fast through the parking lot, but most tenants seem friendly
I really like how spacious our apartment is, and that there is only carpet in the bedrooms. I do wish that the bathroom faucets worked as they should and the vents and a/c filter had been cleaned before we moved in. I also hate that backing into parking spots is a towable "offense" considering it is proven to be a safer parking practice and veterans who have always backed in to park are having to pay out of pocket for parking how they were trained.
This apartment complex is where we lived when we started our family and it has been so good to us. It has grown with us and accommodated us. Thank you ??
Everything is taken care of. We have not had many issues, when we had one it was taken care of in a timely manner. We love the scenery in the back yard. Neighbors are nice.
We have loved living at the the Oceanaire! The staff is friendly and the maintenance team is very experienced and helpful. The complex is clean and neighbors are friendly. The apartments are updated and very spacious with lots of storage options. This is a great place to live!
Love living here no complaints neighbors are great. Management is awesome fast on fixing any repairs. Lived here for over 2 years quiet location is great everything is accessible.
My husband and I got our first apartment together here and we love it! We will happily stay here another few years. Thank you Oceanaire for being the place we call home!
It has a great location. Although it is on a busy road such as East Bay Dr, the complex is quiet and well organized. Likewise, the apartments are bigger than the area's average size.
