Definitely wish I knew about The Oliver sooner. Ms. Tynelle, the assistant manager, and her assistant Noah came to my graduate school to speak with students and hand out goodies. After speaking with her, I took a tour of the facilities with my friends that evening and fell in love. I applied and was approved in no time. I appreciate how I was accommodated with the change in move-in date. The staff has been really kind and unlike other apartment complexes, they actually care about their tenants’ opinions and make an active effort to improve where need be. I have enjoyed the new gym equipment and the Game Night last week. I’m looking forward to next month’s Sip N Paint.

I felt the Oliver a safe place for my son. I’m from DC so I know how dangerous college can be in the city. I felt secure in my son’s residence and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were well lit and spacious. Beautiful floor plan and all of the utilities were new and up to date with the current trends. The location was beautiful, overlooking the stadium as well as capturing the essence of the nation’s capital.

The Oliver is is a fabulous location for Howard Medical students. The spaces are clean and the furnishings are adequate. However, the fitness center is small and only has 2 machines. The there is only 1 group study room, and they are not sound proof. You can hear neighboring students discuss or take calls. In the same vein, the bedroom windows do not block out enough sound. You can hear street noise and conversations. With rising prices, I hope it remains reasonably priced for students. It's a good housing option for professional and graduate students and is long overdue.

The building looks great during the day and night (because of the lights). Can't beat being right on the Howard campus and across from the great Sankofa BOOKS AND CAFE

The Oliver is a great community of Howard graduate students, faculty, and staff. With the perfect location to campus you are able to access everything you need in terms of Howard University. The leasing staff are great communicators and are very approachable. If you are a graduate student at Howard University I would definitely recommend the Oliver.

Nice building. My main reasoning for choosing the Oliver was that the unit was furnished. It definitely made my move-in process slightly smoother by not having to worry about purchasing furniture.
