I have requested for one complete month to have my dishwasher replaced and closet doors fixed. They lied several times about coming to address the concerns and have marked my jobs completed and they have not been. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

This place is a straight sewer pit. There’s rats, loud music, parties, people smoking weed literally all day and night and management is no help whatsoever. There is no laundry facility available and no gym at all. They are just a bunch of liars who literally do nothing. Don’t even think about maintenance. You’ll go months with no response to your concerns. This place should be condemned.

We are alarmed by this review. Our team responds to requests made during office hours and after-hours emergencies. We work quickly to address noise complaints, and our laundry and gym facilities are fully functional. The gym is currently closed due to the recent surge of COVID cases as a preventative measure to protect our residents. We have also closed the office temporarily, to walk in traffic, and operate by appointment only. Lastly, we have also re-started the mask requirement for all staff and office visitors. Moving forward, if you have any concerns or need assistance, please let us know. We take great pride in making our residents feel at home.
Good afternoon I have put a maintenance request in stating I dont have any water in my half bath a couple of months ago I explained that the water was just running in my kitchen I have no cold water nothing comes out of the faucet I have a cabinet door that has came off the hinged throw up that has been in the entrance door since last Friday but you guys pay a cleaning company for the last 3 years I have stayed with hopes that it will get better not sure who is running this place but the tenants pay too much h money to live in deplorable conditions the floor in the entrance way is a trip hazard I went to the laundry room put my card in the washing machines and my clothes did not wash no water in the machine. Bottom line I'm fed up I need to know what I can do to move by October without any penalties it like we are living in low income housing but paying upscale prices. I have honored my lease but the company has not taken care of the tenants if you dont get your rent on time there are fees ut what do we get if the apartment complex is behind. Nice units but thats about it. In the winter/cold months little to no heat, and in the summer time no central air. Maintenance is slow and thats if they come at all. A few times they shut off the water for maintenance reasons with no warning or heads up. Imagine having no air conditioning and no running water before work or school!!! Also theres little to no security, the front door is left unlocked 24/7. Only one working elevator and they just installed a smaller dryer in the laundry room. If management were more transparent I would give them 3 1/2 stars.

I moved in recently and I really love my apartment; it's clean and the rooms are really big. The staff is really professional, especially Kenice as she is always available to help you with a very nice smile. She has been really professional and our little issues have always been taken care of. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is a dump. They think they can change the name but it is the same old raggedy building. The heat was suspose to be on for almost a week and everyday they is some excuse for why they haven't fixed it yet. They never fix anything and all staff do is LIE.
Margaret is superb she is one of the leaseing.agents. She is superb and very professional and friendly. I can’t say enough about her efforts and makeing the application process workable. I appreciate you and I know other applicants will love u as well.
Providence Place has been purchased by Midwest Capital Group and they are making all kinds of improvements. The office staff is very friendly and the apartments are huge. The maintenance guys are so friendly and very responsive. I love living here. I cannot wait for the renovated clubhouse to be done - they say it will ready in Feb. This location is so convenient to downtown and it is only 10 minutes to Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi.
This was my first apartment and I wish I never moved here. They have bed bugs, rude office staff, andHORRIBLE maintenance crew. The walls are so thin you can hear neighbors who aren't even directly connected to you. My neighbor is the worst person I've ever encountered in my life and I've continuously made noise complaints and still nothing. The laundry rooms are horrible, parking sucks, the office loses packages, and my apartment is literally falling apart. I'm actually currently filing a lawsuit against them.

Space is nice and that's about it I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL MY LEASE IS UPPPPP!!!! My neighbor up above me is noisy! When my neighbor walks I'm scared she going to fall through the ceiling. It sounds like this person is four hundred pounds. All I hear is stomping jumping and running all day it's hard to put my 1 year old to sleep sometimes. Have made complaints about this person they are still stomping and have no respect! Building is trashy and smells! ROACHES!! I had to have exterminators come out twice for it. It's just a terrible place. The only person I will talk to is kris which is the property manager. She is very nice and she will listen everybody else an absolute no. It seems I call them WAY TOO MUCH! For the money I'm paying its not worth it! Please people don't move here find somewhere else!
Providence place is a great place to live if you love quietness and lots of space. All the neighbors we have are very polite and welcoming. The apartment we stay in has over 1200 square feet, two full baths, two beds, a walk in closets, extra storage, and covered parking for under $900 a month. No bugs or mice at all but the appliances does need to be update. The buildind needs to be painted n we had to do our own cleaning when we moved in. But I can say in the 8months that we've been here their has been many changes. They have started to paint the buildings. The get the lawn done once a week. The buildings had newly installed carpet and any problems we have is fixed within the week that we report it. This is a great place to start long term with a family, it has a playground a basketball court and a full pool . its definitely on the come up to be one of the number one apartments in Southfield I would highly recommend it.
Space in the apartments is greasy. 2bdrm, 2 bath w a walk-in closet. However, property needs a lot of work, which they are trying to do. Hallways smell like marijuanna and a nail salon.
We came to providence place apartments because we wanted large living space, nice grounds and affordable rent. We were very please with the staff, especially Angela, a leasing agent there. She was a great listener, very empathetic, and very informative on the many changes to take place! We are now renting a 2 bedrm apt, 2 ba, & over 1400 sq ft.! Angela explained that these beautiful apts had taken some neglect, but will bounce back in no time! Needless to say, we will be here when it does! Thank you for a job well done Angela and staff! We highly recommend these apts & welcome the new owners!
