Property Ratings at MAA Murfreesboro
This apartment complex is not taken care of at all. Several reviews showing mold and deplorable living conditions. Management is awful. I had to write to the regional manager to have anything done. They charge you nearly two grand a month to live in an actual sh!t hole. It’s ridiculous. Save yourself the time, money and mental toll and go anywhere else.

After living here for only six months, certain life circumstances required that I move to a bigger apartment. The staff at the Paddock Club facilitated that transition with professionalism and ease despite, I admit, a fair amount of stress and anxiety on my part. Any maintenance request I’ve ever had has been taken care of immediately and the staff is always warm and friendly. In each building I’ve lived in, it’s been quiet with no issues. I’m glad to call Paddock Club my home for my family.
My experience at Paddock club…. During the 2 years that I lived there, I had multiple maintenance issues. They were never addressed in a timely manner. One such instance was in November of 2017. I checked my ac closet to find mold surrounding the ac. The entire ceiling around it was black. I requested service by emailing the assistant manager at the time and calling the office. I also put in a work order. They finally came a day or 2 later to look at it to say they couldn’t do anything about the mold on the ceiling they would have to hire someone else to. I was told the ceiling would be replaced the next day. After a few days I did not hear anything else. I finally had to go to the office and speak to the manager Nita to get anything done about it. Then upon moving out, I was told that I would have to pay for carpet to be steam cleaned. According to the lease agreement I signed, I was only responsible for cleaning the carpet if I had pets in the apartment. I did not have pets. I talked to the manager Nita about it, I was basically told too bad. The lease said adequately cleaned and they had decided adequately cleaned means the carpet is steam cleaned. I thoroughly cleaned the apartment (spent about 3 hours) and was told that my apartment looked great during the walk through when I moved out. I was by the Regional manager Elizabeth that I would have to pay for the carpet cleaning. They did offer to discount it from $55 to $30. After a month, I contacted the office again to find out why I had not received my refund check. I asked to speak with Nita. The lady got back on the phone and said that my forwarding address was not in the file, yet I had provided this the last day during my walk through. She refused to get on the phone and had the person tell me that it was probably sent to my old address and as long as I had requested address forwarding with the post office I would eventually get it. I then contacted Elizabeth again to let her know about this issue. She said she would contact corporate to get the check reissued. Instead of received a check for the $120 that I should be getting back, I received a check for $41.14. I was never informed of any other charges other than the $30 for carpet cleaning. AVOID THESE APARTMENTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND LIED TO!

We wish you all the best in your new home.
Love this place! Been here 13 years and are well pleased! Great place to be. Love the staff also! Maintenance is very fast and do great work.
We rent an apartment for my mother in law. She has had quite a few maintenance issues that they have taken care of- sometimes having to come back multiple times to fix singular problem. Also, we rented for several years and feel that at some point some upgrades need to be made or some value added since our rent has increased this year. I really feel like we should get a slight discount every year that we choose to stay because that saves the company money from not having to spruce up apartment and re-rent to others.
My apartment is all of the way in the back and is very quiet. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and are very visible cleaning the grounds regularly. I don't think apartment living in this price range could be any better.
The Paddock Club in Murfreesboro is a very nice place to live. The apartments are not the most modern or up to date, but they?re nice. We like that it?s a gated community and the amenities are nice. The staff is great and the maintenance guys are friendly. The only downside would be the child supervision. What I mean by that is there are always a bunch of kids young to old playing in the parking lot unsupervised. I don?t mind the kids and the noise, it?s that they are running around careless in front of cars and such. I have seen some close calls. Other than that it?s not a bad place to live.
Peaceful
Very friendly, quiet clean
We have been pleased with our apartment and the service that the maintenance crew does. All of the office staff are so friendly and pleasant.
The apartment is very nice and the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming always. The grounds are very well maintained. I have not had any maintenance issues so I can not really comment on that. Pool area is amazing. Overall I love the experience.
So far the experience has been very pleasant and Andrew has been very helpful with the process of leasing and answering any questions. Thank you for such a great experience!

I have lived here now for almost a year. It's not perfect but nowhere is. I am a little annoyed by the fact that the postal carrier ignores my request to have my packages left by my door instead of with the office. I work during the office hours and am not able to pick up my items easily. I also wish they would get the gate situation figured out. It seems to be broken more than working. I'm tired of people coming to my door looking for the the previous resident or trying to sell crap. Garbage is a joke. You have to load your car with it and drive it to the compactor located in the front of the residence so if you live in the back of the property good luck! The compactor is located outside of the gates so everyone in the city of Murfreesboro uses it. I stopped counting the number of times I have seen someone not from P.C. drive up and empty their car/truck full of garbage into our dumpster then drive away. Water is also a joke. I just received a 50 water bill for the month. I have never in my life had to pay that much for water. I just received my lease renewal and they want to raise my rent. There is no way in heck that I will be signing that renewal. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! I have found numerous places that are cheaper and seem to treat you better.

Thank you for your review which can help us improve the living experience for you and all our residents. We regret your disappointment in our community, especially regarding the gate, trash disposal, and postal deliveries. We'd like to help you resolve these concerns as soon as possible so please stop by the leasing office or call us at 866-620-1130 at your earliest convenience.
Rent is more than the apartment is worth. Charge you for pest control but no one every spray for pest. There’s a mold problem. Electric problem my lights would going out it took 3 months before anyone actually fix the problem but I was kept being told it was my dryer which their electric problems broke I replace my dryer and the breaker would still trip. Finally they decided to replace the breaker box. Once I was even told to finish cooking my food in the microwave instead of on the stove she the breaker wouldn’t trip because maintenance got tired of coming to the apartment. So I can’t use the stove to cook because of a problem you won’t fix. Then when it was time to move of the walk through ‘‘twas a joke. I had to replace carpet that was 5 years old because the person that lived there before me had a pet but they said that I must have been sneaking a pet in although evey time they had to come fix stuff they never once saw me with a pet. Even the manager herself said it didn’t smell like pet urine. Rent was supposed to be prorated since I moved out first week of the month I got my letter a month ahead stating it would be $298 but somehow I end up paying a full month rent after fees and the walk throught on top of keeping the deposit. If you do decide to stay there I suggest that you make them pull the carpet to show that there are no stains because if not you’re going to pay for it when you move out. If I didn’t have to click a star to write a review I would give they none at all.

We are so sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. We truly regret that you experienced maintenance issues that inconvenienced you for so long, and we apologize for any miscommunication on our part regarding the fees incurred upon move-out. We'd like the chance to speak with you directly to offer an apology and clear up any confusion. Will you give us a call at 866-620-1130 or stop by our leasing office? Thank you for your time.
From a distance the grounds look nicely landscaped. Upon closer inspection you will find pet feces and cigarette butts everywhere. The apartments themselves are fairly nice but the walls are very thin and the office staff will not assist you if you have any noise complaints. Pretty much once you sign your lease you are on your own. Kiss your deposit good bye as they will nickel and dime you at move out. Pet deposits are just so your pet can live there and you will also pay rent for your pet(s). Whatever your rent is figure it to be $120 more once they figure in the water (they will average it out for your building - 1 person approx $50), cable (you are forced to get a basic cable pkg for $45), trash ($8.99 even though you have to throw out your own trash), pest control ($4.99 even though you will probably never see the guy), and the electronic fee of .89 to pay your rent electronically even though you are forced to pay it that way $15 for each pet. It adds up quickly. Shop around.
My husband and I lived here for a year, and we were sad to leave! If we were going to stay in the Murfreesboro area, The Paddock Club would have remained our home. The grounds are immaculate. They have the grounds crew working two days a week to make sure everything is perfect. Diane, the property manager, efficiently communicates and is always helpful. Maintenance issues were always handled in a timely manner. The price of the complex is competitive with other complexes in the area, and it is worth it to pay for such a great place to live. Mostly families and couples live there, which is a nice change from loud college apartments. I would recommend The Paddock Club to anyone searching for a home in Murfreesboro!
The apartments are overpriced and outdated. The grounds are disgusting and infiltrated with dog feces and cigarette butts. The water smells like cat urine. Shall I go on.... The pictures are very deceiving!!
These apartments are ok, We moved here from California, because my husband got a job here in Murfreesboro. We had a one year lease on one of their 2 bedroom, 2 bath units. Everything we read said Irma Siegel was the school district to be in, so we decided to move here. Ok, so the apartments are convenient because they are across the street from the school, and near a nice church. My daughter enjoyed her first year at Irma Siegel the teacher was excellent, and my daughter learned a lot, but then the school system hired some new teachers. As it turned out, the teachers were sub par, and the principal was a joke. My husband and I were very disappointed with some of the decisions the school system made. We were not alone in our feelings, several other mothers also complained about the problems we all experienced. The apartments do have a nice pool when you can keep the kids from peeing in it. I might not have known about this except I happened to be there one day sunbathing when I saw a young boy get out of the pool pull down his trunks and peed. I grabbed my daughter and we went home. The apartments are ok, average as an apartment goes, quiet most of the time, the grounds were clean, and most of the people were nice, but then my husband got transferred. We had been there 9 months when this happened and q
I moved here the first of May 2015. I am very satisfied with my time here. Everyone is cordial and accommodating. The office staff works with you on any issues you may have. I recently broke my foot in 2 places and living upstairs has been a bit of a challenge. The first night home , 2 young men helped me climb the stairs to my home. There are a lot of young kids living here and they have respect and manners , which is a rarity these days. I am in dire staits a bit not having a full paycheck coming in and they is where the staff is working with me now. I consider it home, my home!
This is a great community with wonderful staff. The maintenance guys are quick to respond and do an excellent job. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool is gorgeous and the outdoor kitchen is nice. These apartments are in the best school district in town with a great reputation. You will not find a nicer place to live.
I, my wife, and our 2 boys moved here from Woodbury, not sure if it would work out because we were coming from such a quiet rural area, but we have been pleasantly surprised at the lack of noise inside the gates. Our boys love the pool and I have a garage to store my truck in. The biggest bonus to us is that we are so close to work and right across the street from Segal elementary, which our boys attend and that I could keep my dog. He's a bulldog, a friendly one, but most places would not allow him. It was not negotiable for me. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Murfreesboro market.
As afar as apartments go this one is top notch! From very friendly and helpful staff to the amazing amenities including a hot tub, swimming pool, tennis courts, sauna, work out facility, volleyball courts, on site gas grill and charcoal grills! The apartments are also beautiful and the 3 bedroom model offers a jacuzzi bath tub!
This is a good complex for people getting ready to buy a house, or people with kids. It has a pool, a tennis court, playground facilities, a laundry building, and an exercise room. There is a grocery store and drug store within walking distance, as well as two fast food restaurants and a mid-range Mexican restaurant. The best public schools are right across the street. The management is very helpful with maintenance requests. Finally, and most importantly, it is usually very quiet here.
