Also known as the Warehouse District, North Loop is an artistic neighborhood just over one mile northwest of Downtown Minneapolis. With a laid-back vibe, North Loops offers a diverse community and an array of unique businesses. Former industrial buildings have transformed into hip lofts and farm-to-table restaurants such as Spoon and Stable on North 1st Street. Locals enjoy visiting Target Field for a Twins game or the Minneapolis Farmers Market for local product, snacks, and candy. Public transit, local breweries, interstate access, and more make North Loop the convenient and unique place that it is. North Loop sits along the Mississippi River separating the neighborhood from Boom Island Park, a riverside green space with a boat dock, walking paths, and a playground.

Property Ratings at The Palmer
I lived here for two years. The price for the area and amenities was fantastic. Management was quick to get back to me with a response. The biggest reason I left was safety. I know they are making adjustments. My car had been broken into multiple times. I had packages stolen as well. The gas station across the street unfortunately can get a little interesting at nighttime. Overall, it was a great place to live.

Hello, thank you for sharing your positive experience! Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you; we are more than happy to help!
Where to start…I’ll start this with the construction in the building that is ongoing for a majority of the lease I signed for. The construction is so loud, I can’t even sit in the apartment with loud music on, so many days I have to leave my apartment for hours on end just because of the renovations. I got the room next to the renovations, you think they would let me know it remodeled and will be under construction. On top of the issues, which these are few of many, the biggest is anytime that I’ve tried to figure out solutions with this company, maybe to move rooms or terminate the contract, they won’t do anything to help, besides say the noise will go away(it’s gotten worse) or I can pay for two months and the $1300 fee to break a lease. This has been my home for the past 2 years and I can honestly say it is one of the best you’ll get for the price you pay. Sitting on the edge of the North Loop literally surrounded by Breweries and Cider Halls I never had to worry about ubering. Just 2 blocks from Target Field station I was able to take the train to work everyday and basically be dropped off at my front door. I was bummed the Pandemic shut down the Fillmore before I could see a show. With it being across the street it made for a perfect opportunity to maybe pre-game with friends then walk over. Awesome skyline view from the rooftop for night caps. I loved hearing the fireworks from the Bomba Squad hit home runs from my couch while I watched on TV. Street parking is super cheap! Like $3 let you park all day. My only gripe would be the Holiday across the street. I know it sounds convenient to have but honestly it was swarmed with Homeless and beggars and the occasional Drug addict tweaking in the bathroom. The door system up front could be better executed to allow guests in to use the call box. I’m told that is in the works. Overall it’s a pretty decent place to live if you want the City life experience without paying the Price for the City Life. Enjoy!
My husband and I have loved living at District 600 for the past 3 years. Location cannot be beat. Price is excellent for the area. Staff is always very attentive to cleanliness & safety --something we came to truly appreciate in 2020. Would definitely recommended to a friend!
I've lived here for 3 years and I love it. It's in a great location, just 1 block away from Target Field & Target Center, & the light rail train. Just a couple blocks away from some great restaurants in the North Loop. Breweries basically surround the place, if you're into good craft beer/seltzer/cider. A few blocks away from concert venues like First Avenue & 7th Street Entry and Fine Line. Plenty of things to do very close by. There's a Holiday gas station across the street which is a nice convenience. The building itself is 3/4 years old so everything is nice and new. The residents I've known the last 3 years have all been friendly. They have a nice rooftop room with tvs, couches, a fireplace and kitchen that any resident can use to throw parties or events, with a nice outdoor roof deck with lounge chairs and bbqs, all for free. There's a workout center, which is small but hey, it's there if you need it. The staff has been nice to me the whole time, I'm not sure why there are reviews saying otherwise, because that definitely has not been my experience. Very friendly and attentive. I even referred my co worker to move in (you also get a $500 reference fee for referrals). Overall, I enjoy living here, and it's very reasonably priced especially downtown and in the North Loop. Love it!
I throughly enjoyed my experience living here, the staff was always super helpful and friendly and handled my requests and questions in a polite and timely manner. It was a convenient place that was close to everything I needed, which was nice because I didn’t need or have a car while I lived there. The building was always kept clean and super tidy and if there was a spill or an odor, it would be gone within the next day. I would recommend for young people/couples that enjoy the DT/north loop night life. Oh they also had some really cute puppies living there with residents, so that was a plus to always see them around as well!
