Predominantly new construction fills the area, ensuring that renters and buyers have access to beautiful homes and apartments with modern amenities. Property Ratings at The Paramount Apartments
Apartments are incredibly overpriced but spacey. Management is unorganized and there is little communication from them. Fire alarm goes off every couple days sometimes multiple times in a day so be wary if you work from home or are just at home and not expecting noise. Constant water shutoffs with no warning or courtesy emails until way after the fact. There is a janitor but not sure what they do. Someone spilled half an energy drink in one of the stairwells and for over 2 months there has been a very welcoming sticky stain that you can parkour your way through, so at least I’m getting exercise. They apparently allow smoking cigarettes in the stairway as well as there are cig butts there and sometimes the elevator. Stairway and parking lot stay dirty with litter. They also allow people cleaning their balconies to sweep anything they desire out into the wind and let it drift into someone else’s balcony.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us in such detail. We disagree with your characterization of our staff and community and would love an opportunity to improve both. We encourage you to contact a leasing agent directly so we can better address this misunderstanding. Thanks again — the team at The Paramount, (303) 283-8000.
I like the customer service and maintenance of the building.

I love the Paramount! I've been living here for 9 years & I expect to make this my forever home. I especially like the security that the front doors have. I'm also close to stores across the street.

Customer service is fantastic, friendly and caring. The building is in constant improvement.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us! Your five-star feedback means the world to our team here at The Paramount!
The office and staff do a excellent job of fixing urgent problems and keeping things clean. Though you cannot control residents. The management does a great job holding those accountable. My dog and I feel that we are known here and love making others feel welcome lots of good elevator laughs that make for a good day. After renovations are done it will be amazing. When things break they fix things very quickly, and are very on top of water issues and pest control. they fixed all the lighting and are just doing many things to make the community better. I have lived lots of places and I can genuinely say they take care of problems here. It’s nice and enjoyable.
Apartment quality is okay, feels overpriced with the cleanliness of the spa, the state of the laundry rooms, the stairwells are disgusting, and the pool being shut down for the entire time we’ve lived here (almost 2 years) then some neighbours play extremely loud music late at night a lot.
I've been living @ The Paramount for 9 years. I love it here! My apartment is spacious & I enjoy my long balcony & having a garage. Each apartment has cement walls so I never hear anything from my neighbors. This is my forever home! All of the Community Managers have been great! Maintenance personnel are awesome keeping the place looking nice & are quick to answer any problem I might have.
Excelente, muy buenas condiciones el personal muy amable colaborador cualquier problema por ejemplo mantenimiento lo solucionan muy rápido la verdad, buenos apartamento para vivir lo recomiendo
Paramount Apartments is a good place to live. The manager Toni is a very nice person who you can go to for any questions or concerns. She addresses the situation as quickly as possible. The maintenance staff is also very kind and professional and gets the work done.
Poor managment of property and staffing, old and dirty facilities, insufficient communication, filthy common areas.
Any concerns had were addressed to my overall satisfaction. I love the space and the management are really nice and obviously put up with a lot of work. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
The Paramount Apartments are located in a good area surrounded by stores and restaurants. The lightrail stations are also nearby. The Paramount Apartments management are currently making improvements to the apartment s. The office manager Toni is a caring person who does her best to listen and take action to any issues or questions that you may have to address.
The Paramount team does an outstanding job in managing and maintaining a safe, friendly and healthy environment for the residents. Our location in SE Denver on the corner of S. Tamarac Dr. and E. Hampden Ave. provides convenient access to shopping and entertainment. It is easy to travel by bike, car or RTD. We are within a reasonable walking distance of several parks and the Highline Canal trail. The Paramount and the neighborhood make for an enjoyable lifestyle.
Friendly and professional staff. Terrible upper management
The Paramount has pros and cons but overall a pleasant experience. Toni is the best and will happily assist with any issues.
The Paramount apartments is within a good location to live. The manager Toni is very nice and makes an attempt to address any concerns. She doesn't have an assistant but smiles and does her best. The maintenance guy Mike does his very best to fix things and he also does the cleaning. He is a very pleasant person indeed. I hope that they continue to make major improvements to make it a even more enjoyable place to live.
The staff here is outstanding and offers great customer service, but they are severely understaffed for the size of the property because BLDG is too cheap to provide adequate staffing. BLDG is happy to take advantage of the competitive local rental market to increase our rent every year, but they refuse to spend any of their profits to adequately staff the property or fix damaged or missing amenities. Just another greedy corporate property management company to avoid.
Paramount Apartments is in a good location to stores, restaurants and more! The manager Toni and the maintenance staff are very friendly and professional. I feel however that they need more than one person working in the office. However, Toni is a good listener and do her best to address any problems or concerns that you may have in general.
The rent is fair, and the amenities are great! I definitely plan on renewing my lease, and it’s a great community, not too noisy and the apartments are spacious
The Paramount staff does outstanding work in managing and maintaining a safe, friendly, and healthy environment for the residents. The location is conveniently close to shops, restaurants, medical facilities, parks, and RTD bus & light rail transit.
I think the Management and Staff are extremely accommodating, even in times of hardship. Very talkative and get things done. Gilbert and Toni work very hard for us and do everything with a smile!
As soon as Toni handed us our keys and left for the weekend, the front doorknob completely falls off. Within a week of living there we had maintenance in and out of our apartment trying to fix our unit. The water pressure was too low to clean dishes, the dishwasher wasn’t draining, and we didn’t have hot water in the kitchen. During the weekend we also realize we have NO control over the temperature in the apartment. During the warmer months you get A/C on or off at 65 degrees and whenever the office decides to switch the building to heat then you get heat at 75 degrees on or off. You also get to pay an equal share of the entire buildings heating/cooling bill. Then starts the fire alarms, between October-December the fire alarms went off every single weekend. I can only imagine this was due to similar issues as my units fire alarm needing to be replaced in 2001. Within a couple months of living there we notice trash beginning to pile up in the trash chute room on the weekends. All building staff is gone Friday evening - Monday morning, so imagine how my apartment smelled (being right next to the trash room) with 2-3 day old food rotting on the floor on the trash room. This happened MANY weekends in a row despite Toni saying she was fining the people who were doing it.. clearly that wasn’t working, but that’s not my business anymore. Then we have the staircases. Every weekend residents would bust out the stairway lights, egg the staircase, leave food and trash all to be left over the weekend and in some cases over a week. This wouldn’t be such an issue if the elevator wasn’t either broken or so slow it wasn’t worth waiting for. For the small fee of ~$50 per month tacked onto your utility bill for “community maintenance” fees you get everything stated above plus an indoor pool that was never open due to it being broken, a parking lot so treacherous when it snows that an ambulance couldn’t get into the parking lot to help a resident, and a dog park that never has poop bags and is always overflowing with dog poop and cigarette butts. Also during my time at Paramount my supposedly newly renovated apartment fell apart even more. Whatever paint they used to paint the shower tiles was clearly not waterproof because it began flaking off in chunks revealing some kind of mold underneath. My dishwasher had to be pulled slightly out of the wall due to incorrect installation causing my counter top to begin caving in.
The Paramount Apartments is located near great restaurants, grocery stores, southmoor park and ride and much more. I've been living in this area over 18years and love it! The management person Toni at Paramount Apartments is very nice and caring about your needs and or concerns. Also, the maintenance staff are very good about fixing things. The building is cleaned on a daily basis through out the week. If you are looking for a central place to live in this area chose the Paramount Apartments!
I enjoyed the personal call from maintenance letting me know they are on the way to do repairs. Management is always on top there game when it comes to responding to emails as well as sending updates . People make the difference,. And you've provided the right people.
Great place to live! Love the area and the people.
Anything I needed fix they are right on top of it. I have lived here 3 yrs now, the building manger cares about everyone, spends her own money to do apartment get togethers, notices about events works 24/7 to help out with anything!
The Paramount apartments have a very good manager and maintenance staff. They are very friendly and attentive to your needs. There are stores nearby to shop for food or clothing. The lightrail is walking distance or you can take the bus. Overall Paramount apartments is a great central location to live and thrive.
Expect all you belongings to be stolen. Last year, my girlfriend had her car stolen from the garage; the building claimed they had no camera footage. Two months later, her new car was broken into while parked outside the leasing office; again no footage. Last week, I was hanging with friends in the lobby and left for 10 seconds to meet a delivery driver, and of course, my bag (with wallet) was stolen. I asked the front desk to review cameras, which were pointed directly at the scene. They told me it wasn’t their fault and per policy wouldn’t get involved. Thanks guys.
Paramount Apartments manager Toni is very helpful and caring. She will do all she can to with your housing issues and or concerns. The maintenance man is very nice and helpful in addressing apartment repairs promptly. The cleaning lady is very nice and does an awesome job in keeping the building clean and sanitize. There are plenty of great stores and restaurants in the area. The lightrail is close by as well. I have lived in this area since about 2002. I love living in this area of town a lot!
Very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and some shopping as well as public transportation
My 736-sq-ft, one-bedroom/one-bath Paramount apartment has the best floor plan I have ever had! There's lots of closet space, a 5-ft-long bathroom counter, and very nice kitchen appliances. I love my 5th-floor view of sunsets and 14er Mt. Evans. Maintenance is done quickly, and the office manager is absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable, competent, helpful, and friendly. This place is a winner!
Paramount is a great place to live! Management and staff are very helpful.
This place is excellent, because, mice live in your kitchen for 365 days. A very old building along with a poor quality of cabinets and rusted bathroom. If your neibours are Marijuana users, smoke penetrates through air conditioning system to your bedroom. Poor quality of water, clogged sinks and bathrooms. Mini kitchen allows one in, van t be two people cooking. Way before the management transition. The manager was a money collector. When they switched the office that has 3 employees. Maintenance, one office manager and an awesome. cleaning lady. I can t tell you about amenities, but Marijuana is over the places. 20% of great neibours, the rest came from jungle. Trush every where. Last night, the beautiful day in Denver, we experienced the electric outrage. I ll was forced to use my relatives property to get a shower. My family had to leave too. What can I say, I have nothing against anybody, but this place doesn't worth what we are paying for two bedrooms two bath. Parking.you d better have a disability Tag yo use some open ones, otherwise, residents have a lots of visitors ends up to park on the street and you are subject to be ticketed. I don't recommand anyone who to live her except if you have no problems with issues. Pets are more than the residents. I live em but most of the time get into a fights
Since new management took ownership of this building, living here is a nightmare. Trash chutes became unsanitary, there’s trash everywhere, garage, laundry room, elevator hasn’t been cleaned forever!! Office manager doesn’t care about anything! You can’t get a hold of a maintenance when you need, it takes them forever to fix the issues.
My wife and I chose this apartment after months of research. Why we like it: *Great location (public transportation, grocery, gym, health/wellness, parks, lakes etc). *Low pet fee No parking fee & ample parking space (unless garage) we have two vehicles and never struggle to find parking. *Updated interior/exterior Amenities (good gym, sauna, pool, hot tub, yoga room, pool table etc.) *Great staff, Tracy, in particular, was pleasant to work with during our initial move in. Extremely helpful, timely, and understanding. What we don't like: *Trash bin outside entrances fill quickly and are often left full for extended periods of time (edit - they have removed the trash bin) *Elevator is out from time to time due to maintenance, the elevator struggles to get to the 6th floor. *Gym not open until 8am. Really lame I can't use the gym before work. Wish they would simply provide a key. *New policy states no grilling on patio. Also, really lame. Overall 5/5 stars, because the things we don't like are so minimal it doesn't affect us all too much
Living here is a nightmare. The hallways always smell bad. Police show up constantly. I've seen them take away someone in handcuffs in one situation. One morning as I was taking my dog out, police were talking to the woman who is now the assistant apartment manager because someone shattered HER apartment window. People are not picking up after their dogs. I have seen urine in the elevator, dog poop in the main entrance, on the sidewalks and everywhere in the grass. There have been notices put up that there will be a $50 charge to anyone that they catch not picking up after their dog. I have witnessed the assistant manager's own son, on two different occasions, leave his dog off-leash and not pick up after it. Since day one of moving in, I have had issues with my refrigerator leaking. I moved here in the Spring of 2016. To this day, April 13 2017, nothing has been done about it after MANY requests via phone, email and walking into the office. The only maintenance guy available is clearly not fit to handle maintenance for the whole building himself. This past Sunday, the bathroom tub faucet started leaking a constant stream. I cannot turn the nobs any tighter in attempt to stop the stream. This isn't a drip- it's a STREAM of water. I called the "Emergency Maintenance Line" and left a voicemail. No call back. The following Monday, I walked into the Management Office where both the manager and assistant manager were sitting. I told them of my bathtub faucet issue and the previous work order that has never been addressed. The manager said that maintenance will see my unit tomorrow (Tues) to work on my work order. I come home Tuesday afternoon, see that nothing has been done and call the management office to leave a voicemail. I state in my voicemail that no one never showed up and this is unacceptable. No call back. On Wednesday I come home to my unit after work and see that nothing has been fixed again. I call the office and the maintenance guy happens to answer the phone. I ask why he never came to my unit to inspect my work order and he states this is the first he has ever heard of it. I implore that he comes to my unit now and responds that he cannot leave the office because he "is the only one here". The lack of communication & management is inexcusable and unacceptable. With the amount I pay in rent to live here, it is expected that I can utilize my entire refrigerator and not have to keep my bathroom door closed 24/7 to muffle the leaking faucet noise.
I have lived in Paramount for almost a year and it is my worst rental experience ever. Since I moved in, they started redecorating the building. It is noisy all the time! Also, Paramount just decorate the part that are not useful. The buildings live at least 150 people, but they just have 4 washer and dryer. Sometimes one or two of them didn't work. We always need to wait others to get the laundry done. They stopped the air conditioning in the early of October, so I felt hot inside the room for the whole month and had to use the fan to help me get through it. The rent did increase at least $100 in six month after moving in and they started charging parking fees, which was free when I moved in. Lastly, the hall way always smell very bad. I personally don't recommend to live in this community.
I've lived in the Paramount for the last 2 years. It was my first apartment out of college and the rent was extremely affordable. Recently, they have raised the rent extravagantly even for loyal tenants like myself. They claim the building is newly renovated, but really, they're just cosmetic changes. New wood floors in the hallways seem chic, but the noise caused by the echoing is an issue. They've also put new walls in the elevator, but it still runs like it's from 1980, so being patient is key. They've also decided to paint the outside pumpkin orange and gray for a more modern look. Keep in mind, these are only cosmetic changes, and this building was still built in the 1970s. At one point, I was willing to forego these issues for the cheaper rent, but I wouldn't recommend this apartment at its current price. I give the management credit for trying to make the Paramount more modern, but the rent hike is absolutely ridiculous, to put it bluntly.
