Hudson is suburban beach community on Florida’s west coast, just north of New Port Richey and about 45 miles from Tampa and Clearwater. Many of the houses and condos on the west side of town are connected to the Gulf of Mexico by canals, making it a great spot for boaters. Affordable houses make up the majority of the inland rental market, including many surrounding Beacon Woods Golf Club and Bayonet Point Hospital. Locally-owned restaurants and bars are scattered throughout the community, especially along Highway 19 and on the east side of town.

Property Ratings at The Park at Chelsea
Keep your money in your pocket this place is terrible they don’t fix nothing at,all the fancy looking appliances you see in pictures, almost everyone in here has out dated ones. Sometimes pest control shows up but they always leave a card saying they did , even when they don’t. If you don’t hear them knock on the screen door they say you’re not home even though they can ring the doorbell but choose not to. Maintenance did fix the dishwasher but broke floor tiles in the process and never came back to replace them , oh and of course the mold it’s in the walls all they did is just paint over it but of course now the paint is so old it’s chipping off and now you can see the mold on the walls and what color the walls use to be before it was just painted over. ac breaks all the time and the wooden steps are rotting can’t even go on the back patio cause I don’t feel safe but not to mention the outrageous fees you have to pay for stupid things. Pool is always being closed the list goes on so do yourself a favor just don’t do it if you have another options. management maintenance everyone who is supposed to run this place suck. when it comes to customer service They always blame the tenants and speak to us like we’re children oh but not to mention if u live here and you want to move apartments cause they have been harassing us with emails about apartments they have open, you have to pay just to transfer your lease to live in the same place but maybe 5 houses down. for you to type a different address onto my lease is crazy now I get it you should pay some type of fee but not 300, the first and last and deposit ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not even someone I hated even though they have changed management several times now it still seems to be money hungry rude people who keep getting put here according to reviews everywhere really this place has had a problem for almost 10 years now.
Do not move here. This place is an overpriced ROACH, BLACK MOLD AND FLEA INFESTED DUMP with unprofessional money hungry management
I am completely disgusted with the manager. She has no customer service experience. She treats tenants like their kids like we're the ones that are wrong all the time. I pay my rent every month and don't deserve to be treated like a charity case. The manager is a liar and a conniving person. I would like to put a formal complaint against her but I can't get any owner information. The townhouses are nice but I would rather deal with somebody more professional then a stank attitude from the manager. Her name is Shauna. I referred several people but because of her attitude I can't wait till my lease is over and I told everybody else don't even think about moving there. Only because of her she's got the worst attitude. That attitude got to go.
My wife and I recently moved here and love it. The ladies in the office made things so easy for us and walked us through each step of the way and went above and beyond to cover all the bases and make things smooth for us. We were a little apprehensive because we couldn't view our townhome before moving in but it turned out perfect.. we love our new home and our kids love the place too. I work in a profession where customer service and integrity go a long way and they definetely showed both to us during the whole moving in process and since we have lived here too. We had a couple small maintenance items after we moved in that were addressed as soon as we called and all of the staff has been awesome to us every time we interact with them. This is honestly the best place we have ever lived and we would definetely recommend this place to our family and friends.
I'm staying the night at my boyfriend's apartment with our newborn baby and the air conditioning unit is out for the FOURTH time since he moved in in May. We contacted maintainence at 6:30pm tonight and heard nothing. once 8:30pm rolled around and it was 82 degrees in his apartment I called maintanence to explain that we have a one month old baby in the apartment with us and she cannot be in an apartment that's 82 degrees. "Emergency" maintenance called and told me they don't work after 7pm and they're out of portable AC units. I explained again that we have a 1 month old with us tonight and that we called before 7pm and didn't receive a phone call back from maintenance at that time. He said he has a window unit but his supervisor told him he didn't have to come out after 7pm. I asked for his supervisors number and he wouldn't give it to me. I hung up and called the maintainence after hours back and explained what just happened. They sent another work order. I called the original maintainence technicians number back (James Stone) and he picked up and hung up on me. I called again and left a message. The supervisor "Patt" then called me and said that because it's cooler than 80 degrees no one will be coming out tonight. I explained that it was 82 degrees in our apartment and it was over 80 degrees when we called BEFORE 7pm and he had no answers. The only thing he continued to say was "no one will be coming out tonight." I have NEVER delt with such a horrible maintainence staff. I wouldn't recommend this complex to my enemy. I am extremely disgusted, disappointed, and turned off by the staff here. DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPLEX.
I have lived at the Park At Chelsea for almost the last year and absolutely love it here! My husband and I will be renewing our lease here soon, and think that this is the perfect place to live for us and our family. The ladies in the office are awesome and always try to help you out and the maintenance guys are very quick and efficient. We had a couple of maintenance issues and they came right out and fixed them. The parking outside the townhomes can be hard at night and on the weekends but I think that is almost anywhere you live. We feel very lucky to have found this place. - Bethany
Where to begin. First off I'm a current resident. The actual dwellings are not bad at all. However the management is the worst I've ever seen. I've lived in five different states and always rented apartments, even rented different apartments in the Tampa area. This and all the other managers since I lived here, this is the 4th set of managers since I moved in December 2014, are absolutely worthless. Never contact you with issues as far as lease renewal, tell you at the end of the month you owe money for that month when you do not. If you can get them on the phone which is very rare, they blame everything on you, and when you prove it was there mistake the lie and say it was the previous managing group that messed it up. Casey the girl in the office is completely rude and blames everything on you or others, then she will yell at you and hang up on you. These people are worthless. They charge you $10 a month if you have a pet to treat the grass and common areas for bugs. NEVER once has it been done! Even though they claim it is being done. But the millions of fire ant colonies prove the differ. For a month and a half between May and June the grass was not cut, over a foot tall. The exit side of the main gate developed a pot hole over two months ago, did they fix it? Nope locked the gate and let it be. Now everyone has to enter and exit on the same side. This place is a joke. And if you think talking to their managing partner, blue rock partners, will get you anywhere it will not. The regional manager will ignore you for weeks at a time, then claim she has been calling and leaving messages. Never once did I receive a missed call or message. They are liars. All they want is your money and do not care about the upkeep and happiness of their residents. LONG STORY SHORT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!
We moved here in April 2015 and the townhouse is absolutely beautiful. 3 floors and a garage. On the entry floor is the garage, the foyer and also a media room with access to the back area. On the second floor you will find 2 bedrooms 2 full baths, eat in kitchen with breakfast counter, living room, balcony and laundry closet. The third floor is a loft which would be considered the 3rd bedroom. This is a beautiful gem tucked away from the U.S. 19. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have had a few problems with the new management team that was brought in. They were resolved but I just have to be honest.
