Property Ratings at Park at Salisbury
I have lived here for the last 2 years. The last year the property has taken a turn for the worse. Landscaping is really awful. Around the pond they let the bushes outgrow everything. There are plants that when trimmed are about 3 feet tall. Right now they are almost 7’ tall. The dog park is never cleaned. There are piles of leaves along the fence. And taking your pet to it is a sure bet they will be getting dog poo on their paws. It’s never cleaned. None of the tenants pick up after their pets. Car wash is below average. The nozzle is constantly broke. Vacuum cleaner never works and to get your money back is nearly impossible with the staff. Fire pit has been unusable for the past 4-5 months. Recycling is constantly too full for the amount of people here. Debri is all over the parking lot and sidewalks. The appliance are out dated and constantly break down. I raised these issues almost a month ago but nothing has been done. All my neighbors are moving out after their leases are up.
We have been a resident for 3 years we have enjoyed it very much our utilities are reasonable the maintenance is very good about being prompt to fix anything. We enjoy living here!!!
I have lived at The Park at Salisbury for two years. I have rarely needed any service work done in my apartment but today (03/26) I put in a request due to HVAC problems. I just want to say I very much appreciate Renard and Shawn, who responded quickly and were extremely polite and professional. They kept me updated and corrected the problem fast. I hope you pass on my appreciation to both gentlemen. Thanks!
I lived here for 10 years, and always had great service and the living experience was excellent. People are friendly, and the staff was always attentive. I moved away and have just returned. Everything in the apartment is upgraded, and they have added amenities such as saltwater pool, dog park, outdoor bbq and social area, paved walking trail. Yes, the rules may not be for some, such as non-smoking, and I understand that. But as a non-smoker, that's a non-issue for me. There may be other apartments in town at better prices or with different rules, so check those out and do what suits you. This place was great for me for 10 years, and now with the added amenities and apartment upgrades, it's even better. So for that reason, I'm giving it 5 stars.
The apartment feels brand new. It was sparkling clean when I moved in. Everyone on staff is attentive & accommodating. Maintenance employees respond to requests quickly & are knowledgeable & friendly.
The staff here is wonderful. The follow through and extra mile they go to make the tenants feel valued is very special. From Antwian, to Becky, Beth, Joel and Ken, you are well served at the Park at Salisbury!
If you are a smoker, do not bother applying for an apartment. As of August 1, 2019 smoking is not allowed anywhere in the apartment complex! Not on the balcony, sidewalks, parking lots or in your car. No smoking anywhere.
It's dirty and old. U have to drive ur trash to drop it off. The compactor gets filled up too fast and u have to drive ur trash back and keep it. Management is nasty read the contract. They will tow ur car if ur tags expire. The second and third floors are heinous to live in. U will hate those stairs so fast especially with groceries or in the cold weather when u need something from ur car. There are break ins into cars in the area. Way too many dogs making too much waste. The appliances constantly break down. U can't cook ur meals for the week without having a flood in the kitchen. It's just such dirty living. Oh yeah no hot water. It turns cold in about three minutes. U can only fill up about two and a half inches in the tub before it runs cold. Take the money and shop around. U will find better deals with more authentic management. These people take ur money and begin getting nasty right away!!!
I have lived here for a little over a year and the lights in the breezeways keep burning out. The first time I put in a work order, the maitenance man came inside my apartment and changed bulbs in my ceiling that didn't ned changed. So I went to the office and explained what I needed. I was informed that the bulbs are on back order and would be in very soon. This was about 2 months ago and now all three lights are out. Which means its pitch black and the staff doesn't seem to care. Other than that, this is a good place to live.
The bedrooms are huge, and so are the closets! The apartments are really nice, high ceilings and great finishes. A lot of storage and washer & dryer are included!! Staff is friendly and maintenance requests (which are rare in my experience) are handled quickly. The neighborhood is quiet and location is fabulous, close to 288, restaurants, & shopping!
Me and my wife would still be there if we didnt buy a house. They are so accomodating and friendly. The area and apartment alone is worth it, but the friendliness of the staff and of the neighbors just puts it over the top. Trust me...I have lived in a lot of apartment complex's in the area and this one is by far the best!
We lived at the Park at Salisbury for two years and left only because we were leaving the state. Well lit, well cared for complex with workout room, pool, social events. Pet friendly. Excellent maintenance staff. All problems ( and they were minor issues) were taken care of promptly. Courteous staff - both the maintenance staff and the office. Friendly neighbors, well behaved pet owners and children. Would recommend (and have recommended) to anyone.
The Park at Salisbury is a beautiful development. Landscaping is beautiful, very nice, clean complex. Staff is very friendly. I made several trips to the rental office and was helped by Tiffany E. She was wonderful, could not have asked for better customer service. I had allot of questions and came by on three occasions. She always took her time and never made us feel like we were imposing. She took us around to several units and went out of her way to research upcoming available units and their location so we could pick the perfect home. Apartments are beautiful. Spacious deisgn and nice layout. Great storage in the units. Very much like home as soon as we walked in. After several visits and deciding on the unit we wanted to make our new home ( I have to say the Manager was even willing to work with us on our move in date) we made application. The process was easy and quick, Tiffany was able to get our approval to us in just a few hours. We were so excited and ready to move in! Then came our stumbling block....make sure you ask questions up front! Had I been given the opportunity (which I must admit, I never thought to ask up front) to see the lease agreement and all of the addendums, I wouldn't have had to bother the Ladies in the office so much and I would have saved myself a $100.00 application fee. I could have decided right then that this was maybe not the community for us at this time. I found the lease, the resctrictions and the requirements a bit excessive in nature. I want to live in a nice development but I do not want to have all of the restrictions that were contained in the lease. Make sure you know what the Property Management Company expects from you as a Tennant and what you are expected to be responsible for. Overall, it is a beautiful place, nothing negative to say. The immediate area is still being developed and plans for another apartment complex, townhomes, a retirement center and a very nice community of single family homes to come. It is comparable to living in a neighborhood or living in a PUD. It is all in what you prefer.
