Property Ratings at The Park at Stonehaven
If you wish to live in an apartment where you’ll experience roaches in any part of your home (your dishwasher, your fridge, kitchen, bathrooms, living room, in your luggage when you go on a trip, AND even in your bed cuddling with up with you), this is the place to be!! During our three years that we lived here, the roast infestation was what we remembered the most - even with bi-weekly pest control spraying, these superbugs are nasty and they spread quickly. You bring this up to management and they’ll act baffled. We got all new appliances (including a brand new furnace and “floors”) because everything in these “newly renovated, luxury apartments” is done cheaply. We were often serenaded with police sirens from all the traffic accidents/hit-and-runs around Covington Hwy and guns shooting off. It is not a safe area nor are the apartment complexes meeting certain public health standards for safety and sanitation. I would not wish living at The Park at Stonehaven on my worst enemy.
***Updated review 10/8/24. This apartment complex was TERRIBLE!!! I had issues with MOLD almost immediately after moving in. Then the roaches started coming out and they JUST KEPT COMING!! I would have my apartment sprayed every other week and even did a "move out spray". I also bought my own chemicals and nothing helped. I had my move out inspection on July 30th. They said there was a strong urine smell. I said it was mold. They deducted a fee for spraying from my deposit and I was supposed to get $100 back, which I still have not received. They did an inspection of fire extinguishers, mine had to be replaced, who knows how long it was bad for. The last month there my carbon monoxide detector went bad and they never replaced it, even though I asked a few times. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH APT COMPLEX.
I am constantly seeing roaches, there are animals in the walls, my car parts were stolen, my neighbors are loud and the leasing office never actually completes maintenance requests and has the gall to say none of these things are emergencies. There are cracks in my walls and my floor drupes. Honestly this place should be condemned. Wish I was anywhere but here. How would the people in the leasing office feel if they lived in these conditions? Disgusting people and unlivable property.
The entry gate is broken dented my truck the management said that they are not liable because of a disclaimer sign..... roaches, slow to no maintenance when having issues
I literally kill bugs and roaches everyday pest control is useless, I bombed my apartment that didnt work either. I have bug residue on my appliances and one living in my tv you’ve been warned.
These apartments are simply UNINHABITABLE. Please do not move here, especially if you have a family.
They really need to exterminate all of their units. Myself and a friend lived on the property for 2 years and they put us in a new unit both years and every unit was full of roaches. Pest control is a joke! You’ve been warned!!
Had the pleasure of speaking with Kim M. She answered all my inquires and made time on her booked schedule for me to tour property. I look forward to my tour. Brandon was also professional when I called back.

Hello, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your review has been forwarded to our onsite staff.
Came in to look at the it 3 bedroom layout. They have several of them vacant, but refuse to walk me through anything but a 2 bed. I needed to take measurements for furniture, but they will not show anything but the model until you pay the application fee and give them all of your personal info. Ridiculous!

(I AM POSTING THIS ON ALL REVIEW SITES I CAN FIND) I am writing this review 6/21/17) @ 10:28AM as am I currently on hold with this apartment for over 10 minutes. Over the weekend (Saturday, 6/17/17) they changed everyone's faucet which is fine, but since then I my water hasn't been working and sometimes not at all. I work during their office hrs so my only way of reaching out see via phone. I've called EVERYDAY since then regarding the issue and no one has yet to come out fix the water issue. I haven't been able to do any dishes or laundry because of the low water flow. I am so fed up with this place and of course they will change faucets after renewal. I am at a point where I am ready to break my lease. They increase rent price for what? The people there are so unprofessional. They talk to you in a rude and comfortable tone. I tried to be patience but this unacceptable. They tried to charge my roommate a $50 fee, saying it's an application fee for her to be added to the lease. WE'VE BEEN ON THE LEASE TOGETHER FOR THREE YEARS NOW!!!!why do she need to pay to continue to be on the lease. They never sent her an email for her lease renewal till this day and I've been bring up this issue for over two weeks. When you call to put a request in no one actually puts in, its not until you go up there and harass them is when they try to actually get things done. This place is pathetic. The workers are useless!! Now today 6/21/17 @ 10:57AM I was able to get in touch with an agent. Explained my issue again and about water barely coming out of my bathroom sink (which I have video of). After minutes of going back and forth the conclusion is the lady told me that "there's nothing we can do" ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Apparently from what she said corporate is the one who hired the company to come out and change everyone's faucet and showerheads and they won't fix it and it out of their hands. I explained to the lady again about how if i leave my bathroom sink on for longer than 30 seconds the water starts going away completely and I'll have to turn it off, wait a few seconds and put it back on for the same thing to happen again. I also explained to her about how I had company over the other day and had to tell them to use a bottle of water just to wash their hands because there's not enough water coming out of the kitchen sink. I am so FED UP with this place I don't know what to do. This is SAD!

Wherr do i start.... The have huge roaches and pest control barely comes out. They constantly change things in the lease without alerting tenants. The charge you to use the pool. The tubs are horrible . i had a leak in my ceiling that was never fixed. Maintenance barely comes out to fix things. The trash people doesnt pick up the garbage and theirs always trees falling down on people cars the only reason they get a 1 star is because i cant put -100

The Management keeps changing and they are not professional and uncaring. Maintenance is very slow and not the best. If you place a work order you don't get anything in writing. This apartment is owned by Blue Rock Partner, LLC and if you check Better Business Bureau they have a poor rating. The apartments look nice on the outside but that is about it. They really need to renovate which they have started but you better really check out the apartment. There is crime and break ins and possibly selling drugs on the property. The lock on the doors are not the best for safety. They have a security gate which they never use. They never have anything for the tenants, no social gatherings or pool parties. Besides being a pretty good location that's about it. I wouldn't recommend anyone to move in unless they get professional management that will respect and appreciate their tenants.

These people have the worst customer service in history. I was to get my apartment in the beginning of august. They did not notify me that the date would be pushed back or that something had happened to my apartment. When I called it was always that they could not find my file. They had the worst customer service ever, they never called back like they said they would. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.

The Management Team are rude and not helpful. The maintenance do a half job. Fix something and a few weeks later you can have the same problem. The apartments look nice on the outside, the location is pretty good but unless you stay in one of the renovated ones the apartments are old. Most of the appliances are not updated, they use the cheapest flooring for the floors and I never had my carpet cleaned. I continued to have leaks and problems with the heat. I always had to spray due to bugs. I don't like the fact they have security gates but never close them. They don't have Saturday hours, they never had anything at the pool for their residence. I think if most people can rent a house or buy a house, because apartments are the worst.

I RECENTLY BROKE MY LEASE AND CONTACTED MY LAWYER BECAUSE THESE APARTMENTS ARE THAT BAD!!! My living room ceiling leaked on my BRAND NEW furniture within a week of me moving in, half of my power sockets didn't work, the bathtub/shower doesn't work, the ice maker doesn't work, the stove aisle were extremely loose (A Severe Hazard by the way), not to mention there's a "SEVERE INFESTATION" of roaches, water bugs, ants, centipedes, and Japanese Beatles in our building that love to crawl on you while you're asleep (You can't even keep your trash can in the house). PEST CONTROL is a mystery! Several residence, including myself would consistently complain DAILY - only for management to brush you off by saying we'll send someone right over (and then the person never shows up, until you complain several more times. Only for them to swing by, fix the "BARE MINIMUM" and then cross you off the list whenever they fixed 2 of issues. I wouldn't wish these apartments on my worst enemy!

These apartments are terrible. They are fixing the outside up to bait you in and the insde is full of roaches. Management is terrible they do not care about their tenants. They will tow your automobile at the drop of a dime and you will have to pay to get it back. Management will lie to get you out of their face and take forever to fix things in your apartment.. these apartments need to be condemned fumigated and or torn down. Run

On the outside the grounds and building look nice but inside the apartments needs some updates. Management is not the best. They will tell you something verbally and then later change what they told you. I would suggest get things in writing from them or contact their Corporate Office when can't get things resolved.. They have an area of the parking lot spaces that needs to be repaired and it has been over 3 months or longer and the repairs are still needed. The bathroom leaks and any other repairs make take weeks to get repaired. They are allowing just anyone to move in which will bring the complex down. They say cameras but I don't see any. The gate should be closed for security. A great location but the Management could be a little more professional and polite. For a first time person who can't afford much I can see but I wouldn't stay after 1-2 yrs.

Hello, this property is now under new ownership. We'd love to show you all of the great changes we have made.
Do not RENT from them.... I stayed here personally for a year, there are so many issues with this property. YOU WONT SEE BY LOOKING ON THE OUTSIDE. first, They had a total of 2 different management companies within the one year that I was staying there. Second, they have BLACK MOLD, PEST CONTROL ISSUES, HIGH CRIME RATE. I complained about the mold for 4 months before it was actually tamed and then it was still mold residing in my master bathroom; the toilet was unstable that I complained about the whole stay of my residency that was NEVER fixed. Living with asthma of course it was hard to deal with the black mold and i had to sleep in my living room for a month just to escape the harsh toxins of the mold. Lastly, I did NOT and was NOT going to renew my lease so I signed my 60 day notice in January, when I was then told that I had to be out by March 22 because anytime sooner I will be charged for breaking the lease. I had fully moved out on March 1 but to avoid the breaking of the lease fee I withheld the keys(like they told me to) to do the walk thru and leave. Now I was told to leave on this particular date and being that I was a first time renter I was gonna pay the balance subtract my deposit. But instead they filed a eviction on me after I signed my 60 day notice and sent it to creditors with 600 in fees added to the $875 fee that they could NOT produce documentation of the detailed statement. Now im being charged 1400 for all these outstanding fees that they pulled out of the air for leaving a day early when that was the date they gave me to move out. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, UNFAIR AND LOOKING TO GET OVER ON ANYBODY WHO THEY SEE FIT. AND THE PROPERTY IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

I have been here for 10 months, when I first moved in the management was very nice and a maintenance request took 1 to 2 days. Since there has been a management change in late 2015 it has become very dreadful and miserable with me living here if you have questions or request management is very rude to you as if you are slow and don't understand. I have put in two maintenance request in the past month neither was responded to. When I made a third request about my front door panel was broken from one trying to break in she became rude saying well she don't see it on the request & told me she will put it in ... Well it have been three days later and still not fixed. Plus they are very unorganized they place dumpsters around the premises and not use the correct area for dumpsters. They continue to make promises about online bill pay and gate accesses each month after 3 months and still none.

I moved here in August only six months ago and it has been an horrible experience this is my first apartment and lining here makes me want to go back to my moms. My heat was broken for about two weeks while me and my 10 month old son slept in the cold. My dishwasher feel out twice and the third time they finally decided to get me a new dishwasher. My cabinets are falling out and not to mention there's a roach infestation. They have switched the management since I've been here neither staff seems to care about anything. The rent has went up and I promise you it's not worth paying. DO NOT MOVE HERE

It's truly a shame the living conditions, that we have to suffer living in these apartment, even more a shame the lack of customer service given. The entire staff is rude and disrespectful and needs to be fired from the Property Manager to the groundsman. Just cause they threw a little paint on the buildings, please do not be fool. All they did was put a bandage on a very nasty womb. I will be glad when this nightmare is over.

I have been at this apartment for almost 2 years. I have never been late on my rent and never had issues with break ins. However the roaches here are horrible! I live on the top floor. There are animals living in the roof. They are much bigger than a squirrel. I can hear them moving around and scratching at the plaster. The animal has literally dug a hole through my ceiling in the living room. I have called and reported this 6 times. The head security refuses to come and fix it and the Manager is never available. The people in the office are EXTREMELY RUDE. Now I have roaches coming out of my ceiling and I am constantly scared that the animal is going to come through the roof. I have had to sleep with my bedroom door closed. I am close to reporting this to the news. I have never dealt with a company so insensitive to their tenants needs and concerns. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Save yourself the headache. Your home should be your oasis, mine has been a nightmare.

Hello, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your review has been forwarded to our onsite staff.
The are remolding, which is good for them. However, I have been living here for 2 years and never had any major issues til 6months ago. I reported to the management countless times which they never came to really fix. I have always been a good tenant and NEVER LATE not even once. So you would think that they would be a little bit more willing to help me BUT they were not. The new management will try to make you sound like you do not know what you are talking about when it comes to own apartment. I have also has issues with bugs for months and asked for an apartment transfer in which they lied and told me that no apartments were open, and was told that I would have to call every week in order to be put on the pest control list that comes and sprays once a week. only to find out 5weeks later they never had a spare key to even gain access to my apartment in order to even spray it. This was later relieved because my refrigerator slowly died on me and when they came to replace it they could not even come into my apartment to switch them out. AND on top of that they left the old one outside on my door for close to a week until I called them to remove it. I plan on breaking my lease soon they are a joke and no one who cares about their future living space should move here. and all this happened literally in one month, I will say i never had problems with the other companies that have owned the complex BUT this one takes the cake.

I have been with this property almost a year and the management have already been changed 3 times not to mention it was just changed before Christmas 2014. The new manager and assistant manager do not know which is which the lady depending which situation she want to handle. The lady is the manager when its something simple she would like to deal with and when not she pass along to a guy saying that he is the manager at least the old Mananger Sarah was courteous and acted such as her position. Sarah did not ever once put the blame on anyone else, she dealt with what she had to accordingly. My windows and doors haven't been sealed since I have moved here allowing cockroaches to come through the ceiling in closet I had to seal myself being that I had already reported and called the office several times which did nothing and water bugs came in through there every time it was rain and ended up in the bed with my son and myself 3 times. Mold inside my toilet with a leak when I moved in they resurfaced the tub and dirty, windows do not work right, my ceiling is cracking up and falling down the alarm fell down allowing bugs through my cabinets and draws have been falling apart before I stepped foot into thus apartment. Carpet not sealed under the base boards which happen to not be put to the floor properly, also shreds every time I vacuum. The new security stalks me every time I step foot outside or they see me pull into the complex not more than 2 min later they follow. The manager nor asst manager ever returns calls, they are not people friendly at all and should not have a job dealing with any people what so ever.

Hello, this property is now under new ownership. We'd love to show you all of the great changes we have made.
Hello there, I live at the apartment complex Stone Ridge At Hidden Hills. When I found this apartment it was pretty good also the move in was fast. The building that I live in is pretty quite and I have friendly neighbors. When you have an issue the take a little while to respond and the staff was kind of snobby but they will work with you on rent if you are polite. The reason I say was is because they have recently been bought by a new owner and they seem to be changing things around and are getting a lot better and newly renovating .But other then that I would be a good place to start out and with in price range. This November I will not be resigning another lease. good luck to you and your search have a nice day.
