Property Ratings at The Park at Veneto
The Park at Veneto has *some* curb appeal, but that’s it. This was our first apartment in SWFL after relocating to the area. Let me tell you, it was the biggest mistake we ever made. Here are just some of the issues that led to us terminating our lease early and nearly engaging in a legal battle with Blue Roc Premier, who owns the complex: -the carpet had cigarette burns in it when we moved in -the fridge had a punch dent in the side -one bedroom door had a fist hole in it -the AC constantly failed because it would freeze up. The management (Maria) wouldn’t replace it -The appliances are extremely outdated and bottom of the line -despite pest control coming weekly, the building has a terrible bug infestation -The pond has a terrible coating of blue/green algae -the complex is infested with mean ducks -No confer for cleanliness. Dumpster would overflow. Old furniture sitting out. Pet waste container overflowing. Now there was one pro. Note the use of the word “was.” That would be rent. But like every other place in SWFL, rent has skyrocketed. Bottom line: avoid this place at all costs.
This is the second apartment I have ever lived in. So I don’t have a lot to go off of. But Ive enjoyed living here. I just signed my 3rd 1 year lease and I have not had really any issues. The maintenance staff are friendly and the office staff workers are pleasant and understanding. I don’t plan on moving from here anytime soon.
Staff doesn’t care at all. Maintenance doesn’t know what the hell they are doing. Gates don’t work at all. You can file complaints all you want nothing will get done about it. Maintenance request will be answered when they feel like it. It’s a horrible place to rent especially for how much they charge a month you would think that you would at least get good services.
I feel like I'm in jail they watch every move you make. Staff is horrible they gave you the wrong information and never want to help. The Manager is rude. The apartment has stains on the walls and seen bed bugs. The apartment comes with broken pieces that they never come fix. save your money don't rent here it's not worth it.
Don't expect to get your security deposit back, they find any way to rip you off even if it is their fault. Office staff is constantly changing and gives you wrong information. Cops are constantly in the complex for complaints. If you don't mind getting a contact buzz walking to your apartment, this would be the right place for you to live. It is a "gated community" yet the gates have never worked, but don't worry they will charge you to have an access card. Lets not forget the constant water main breaks and having to boil your water. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. Everyone I talked to in the year I lived here could not wait to move out.
This place is a joke, do not ever rent from here. There is constant maintenance that needs to be done to the apartment. Air conditioner needs to be fixed at least once a month, it takes maintenance crew forever to even get to doing simple things such as repairing the top rack of a dishwasher. They have constant water break lines to the point where we have to boil our water until it is deemed safe to drink. The management really doesn't do anything until you get corporate involved. Please save your hard earned money and find another apartment rental to live in. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived at. What a joke this place is
This is a great community! We heard some negative things before but apparently that was all previous to the new management that took over. The staff is very helpful and kind. The landscaping is very pretty and nothing beats the lake! Very cool place to live and we are very happy living here.
We rent an apartment in Park of Veneto.... To only find out after moving in that it was infested by bed bugs. Watch your lease because they make sure they waive the resposibility of taking care of this problem.... Because they know that they are renting apartments that are bug infested!!! We have children and foud the bedbugs in the popcorn ceilings... DARREN the propeety manager lies and tells me that bed bugs dont travel from apartment to apartments. But Google and pest control companies say diffrent. Do not rent here unless you want to throw away everything you own...
This apartment has good amenities. Water is included and some apartments have washers and dryers. The staff is really friendly and the maintenance crew is as well. Close to mall and other shopping plus there is a new grocery store be built up the street. Little high priced but overall a good place to call home.
Beautiful newly gated community with fenced in pool surrounded by palm trees along side a gazebo and lights over looking a closed in moated type lake with two large fountains that light up at night sweets the mood for any gathering. Each balcony is screened in to keep out pests beautiful apartments inside and out.
We moved into our apartment in February of 2015, so we have lived here for only 5 months. I have to say, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The property has wonderful landscaping and is regularly maintained. We have a lake which runs thru out the development and our back lanai overlooks this lake and we are fortunate enough to have a beautiful fountain to view while sitting in our living room and lanai area, which is very relaxing. The development is under new management and they have addressed any minor problem we have had in a very timely manner. Its unfortunate that the development isn't in the greatest Locale but we are having gates with a push button entry system installed, which should help deter any criminal activity within our development. So, after being in a home for so many years and sizing down to this apartment has not been such a difficult transition for myself and my Fiancee. Our neighbors are also very friendly and most have pets including ourselves which makes for a perfect opportunity to meet new people while walking our dogs.
