The worst service I have ever experienced. First, they couldn’t fix the AC during the summer for several weeks, leaving me to suffer in the heat. Then, the same thing happened with the fridge—it was broken for weeks with no resolution. Now, I’ve had rats in my apartment for over a month, and they still haven’t taken care of it. Do yourself a favor: don’t even consider renting an apartment from them.

NOT WORTH YOUR SANITY. The location has a lovely metro park walking distance but that's about it. The main office is a laughing stock and the management company(GVA) is even more of a joke. They ensure to harass tenants over everything and anything (plus undisclosed fees/utilities) The staff is BEYOND incompetent and they make sure to switch everyone out almost every month so nothing can ever be resolved. Still waiting to hear back from GVA in regards to THEIR EMPLOYEE trying to BREAK INTO my unit on camera over 2 months ago. AVOID this place, it's by all means not worth it at all.
I have been here for 8 years - Honest 5 star. If you're looking for an apartment with basic amenities but an excellent location, The Park at Walnut Creek might be the perfect choice for you. Let's start with the amenities - while they are nothing fancy, they are clean, well-maintained, and functional. So if you don't need a lot of frills, this could be a great option for you. But what really sets The Park at Walnut Creek apart is its location. It borders the Walnut Creek Metro Park, which is an absolute paradise for runners, hikers, bikers, and dog lovers. Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll or push yourself to the limit, this park has something for everyone. And being just a short drive (or long walk) from the Domain and the new FC Stadium, you'll never be far from great shopping, dining, and entertainment options. One more thing worth mentioning is the staff. The maintenance crew is top-notch and always ready to take care of any issues that come up. And the office staff is attentive and friendly, making sure that everything runs smoothly and that you have everything you need to feel at home. Overall, if you're looking for a basic but well-maintained apartment in a fantastic location with excellent staff, The Park at Walnut Creek could be just what you're looking for.
So I read the reviews and finally had to see because it look beautiful from the outside and guess what me and my dad got a beautiful apartment it renovated spacious I love it they also have a bilingual agent she is nice the entire staff was good has well thank you
I had an issue with my plumbing and was able to call the office, talk to a young lady named Alexandra and she was able to get someone over to my apartment the next day. Every issue should be handled so efficiently as this one was.
Unwarranted bills to collecting agency without contacting me first. I paid $200 for professional cleaning TWICE and they stated I owe $100 for cleaners. They're trying to make me pay $300 for the new vinyl flooring AFTER the tore out my 7 year old carpet. Also, bug infestation - roach infestation.
GVA Property Management took over this complex months ago and have proven themselves completely incompetent at property management. The security gates to the complex have not functioned in 8 months, meaning anyone can drive through the gates and conduct drug deals in the parking lot, vandalize vehicles, and break into the mailboxes. Speaking of mailboxes, they were broken into 5 months ago and the damaged boxes have yet to be fixed, meaning residents with the affected boxes have to stand in line to pick up their mail at the post office. There is a security fence around the mailboxes, but the gate to that fence broke about 3 weeks prior to the break-in. Rather than fixing it and potentially preventing further break-ins, the property management simply got rid of it. There is no security at this complex because the management refuses to fix anything that might provide a modicum of security. Want to live in a safe and secure gated community? Look elsewhere!
Had to move out after my apartment flooded twice in one year and the new management didn't want to let me out of my lease. Saw maintenance people pain over mold while repairing my place.
My place flooded last month due to drainage problems. While they were doing repairs I saw their maintenance people paint over black mold. I am currently trying to figure out how to report it officially. Please don't rent here.
This may be the home for you! We planned to move in here during a pretty terrible time during the snowstorm, and were not told in advance that we CLEARLY needed gas for heating (had not lived in a place that needed gas for cooking/heating before). Our move-in date was pushed back weeks after we had payed the deposit and I totally understand these were unforeseen circumstances but could have been avoided had we been told many things in advance. We have been here for almost 3 months now and I am just counting the days until the lease ends. When we moved in, the apartment and kitchen were still dirty with stains on the oven and walls, and broken towel racks and crooked shower rod just really topped it all off! We have had random monthly charges for not having renter's insurance when we have been under a policy since we paid the deposit. There are also required charges that to pay through the apartment complex- trash valet and bulk internet/cable. Expect to not have your trash picked up every now and then or for the entire week even though its "required" to pay for! Neighbors are noisy and loud and if you ask management for help, expect nothing to be done. Expect some roaches to come in too (even on a 2nd floor apartment) because the doors do not seal, and there is not screen door for the balcony either. Another detail about management is that they will only respond back if they feel like it! Response time is only quick if you are trying to rent from them, but if you have any issues they will just leave you hanging. Location is fine, but I'm sure you could find better places around Metric that are around the same price. I regret not doing more research since I am new to the area and wish that I had never signed a lease here.

It was convenient. Everything else was bad. Upstairs neighbor stomped and would drop things on the floor at 4 am. The office never did anything. There was also 2 hypodermic needles near one of the dog stations that were never picked up and had been there for about 2 months before I left. THEY ABSOLUTELY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE! The manager walks one of her dogs off leash and then yelled at us when my dog slipped out of her harness and ran at her unleashed dog. I moved out over a month ago, almost 2 months now and I just got a letter saying they were going to be sending me to collections for an amount I owed. I had my apartment professionally cleaned when I moved out. There shouldn't be any charges and if there were, they should have notified me sooner than 2 months later. They are charging me for a pet cleaning fee for my SERVICE ANIMAL. When you ask for proof, they said that "have pictures and do not have to show it to anyone." I tried calling the collections agency and they don't even have my file. This place is seriously the worst. They are rude and apparently are unaccommodating. They said they wanted to "Talk about the issues" with me, but then give me the run around and tell me it's all out of their hands and to talk to the collection agency.

In My Humble Opinion, Madison At Walnut Creek is the best apartment complex that I have lived in Austin, without a doubt. The complex is beautiful, full of lush trees that the Porter always keeps very well maintained. The two pools are always cleaned impeccably and the staff(Dustin, Joe, Kesia, and Ruben) working at the apartments are very friendly and efficient. If You have a problem, it is always fixed on the same day. The truth is that I do not have any complaint on this wonderful place. The Office staff (Carla, Nick, Whitney, and Natalie) have always been friendly and efficient. It makes you want to live at Madison At Walnut Creek forever. The office staff also treat you as special. Each of them always have a sincere and honest smile on their face, and they always understand the few complaints I've had since I live here. Huberty Diaz

I live in an apartment complex right next to a quaint little part and running trail. It's not uncommon to pass smiles with several hikers and joggers while on my way to work. Taking the metro bus is easy, just a few feet from the front of the manager's office. If one is willing to go a little bit more: there are several eclectic restaurants and stores within easy distance of the apartments. The area is perfect for students due to the local college only two blocks away. The management is friendly and the staff reply promptly to any problems that may arise. The club house is open 24/7 and includes a workout area with sauna and steam room, open pool and a grill area. Perfect for those days off when you want to hang out with friends.
