Situated in the Texas Panhandle, Amarillo is a definitive product of the Lone Star State, marrying the old and the new with working cattle ranches, the Tri-State Fair and Rodeo, a broad range of diverse cuisine, and a host of modern amenities.
Amarillo preserves its rich history with designated landmarks like the Center City Historic District along Polk Street, Route 66, Llano Cemetery, the Madame Queen locomotive, and the Texas Panhandle War Memorial in addition to extensive exhibits at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame and Museum and the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum.
Amarillo is also home to a well-established arts scene anchored by the Amarillo Opera, Amarillo Symphony, Lone Star Ballet, and Amarillo Little Theatre. The eclectic Cadillac Ranch, one of the world’s first roadside sculptures, features ten spray-painted Cadillacs buried nose-down in an Amarillo field off of I-40 as well.

Property Ratings at The Parks at Granite
First they, in all caps decided to tell us our packages would be sent back. I still have the SMS and email by the way. Now they say that it has always been policy never to tell the tenants over the phone if they have packages or not. It is nowhere in the lease and they never notified anyone of any changes. Why are they making it so hard to just exist when we keep to ourselves is far beyond the capacity of my understanding. We are still dealing with issues. Nobody has apologized for this behavior and there is a reason people are moving out. If they have a policy change they should inform tenants. Is this the normal operation of the business conduction? Currently looking elsewhere as these guys clearly have not taken care of residents the way they should. From infestation to water problems to fencing falling apart this place is failing massively.
Have consistent issues with the apartment and have to stay on management 50% of the time for anything to get done to fix it. My air conditioner/heater leaked for months and they did nothing for at least a month. The gym is absolutely HORRIBLE it has barely any equipment, all of it is old, a third of it does not work and the rest is falling apart. I have had my car broken into twice since I moved here and have been told there is nothing that can b e done even with the insurance I bought through the apartment complex. Nothing is being done to prevent any more break-ins and other residents have had their windows smashed and cars broken into. There are bugs everywhere, needles, and crack pipes in the parking lot. The hallways have ugly, nasty stains on the carpet that stink. Overall, there are a lot of issues that management has chosen to neglect and no one would live here if it was not this cheap.
Management staff obviously doesn't communicate with each other. Takes forever to get maintenance staff to come and get anything fixed. Housekeeping only cleans around leasing office and community room, hallways to inside-entrance apartments are DISGUSTING & smelly! Apartments are also obviously not deep cleaned in between tenants as they're supposed to be, so be prepared to do a lot of cleaning yourself.
I absolutely love living here. I am on hud housing so the fact that they accept hud is a plus. I have a two year old daughter and she loves being able to go to the park everyday. It park and other provided activities are always clean and up to code. If ever I have a problem that needs assistance I can call the office and I know that it will be resolved in a timely manner. The people here are super friendly, it’s not loud at night which is a blessed for me and my daughter. I am a full time student so being able to access the internet is important to me. The granite provides internet and cable through Suddenlink for a small fee monthly which is very convenient! I love living here and highly recommend it to others constantly!
We were moving back to Texas from another state and only had the moving help/truck for one day. Our original apartment had recent significant weather damage and was not going to be ready, though they tried really hard to get it ready by 5pm. We really appreciate the management and maintenance team that acted quickly to get our new apartment ready within a moments notice. Moving is stressful enough, moving to another state even more so given the risks involved. However, the competence of the team assured us that everything would be okay and it was. I was more stressed packing the truck than I was from the last minute changes. We were able to get into an apartment that evening and move our belongings in. They went above and beyond our expectations in a tough situation. We are so grateful to have had our move in day as easy as it was given the circumstances. I can't even imagine how stressful of our arrival was for Adriana, the manager. She did well under pressure, having grace and patience of a saint and was very professional. I recently met a tenant that has been a long time occupant. That says a lot about tenant satisfaction. Everyone is so friendly here and we feel welcomed home.
Everyone here at the granite is wonderful i am pleased with the services i recieve. The granite is a great place to live ?, they also have activities from movie night to wine and cheese tasting and all sorts i love the granite ive live here for 4 years and happy! Thanks granite!

This apartment complex has the NICEST staff around. I have lived here almost 4 years and really feel like I am at home. They are continually improving the property and give the utmost care and attention to the residents. If you need an apartment (WITH ALL BILLS PAID) you need to come here.
