I’ve been living at The Payton for a little over a year. It’s a nice safe secure building, it has nice big windows, it is so quiet. I never hear my neighbors, and my apartment is really quite nice. I would like to see the assigned parking be reduced in price.

I’ve lived in a couple of other (non grey star) apartments prior to The Payton and I can say that overall my experience has been the best here. Friendly staff, always clean, fun community events, etc.

This building is nice, but overall lacks a lot of security amenities. They say they're pet friendly but don't have an outdoor pet area for pets to be off-leash. They also lack communication updates about spaces that are in use like the elevator and when the garage is going to out.

Thank you renter for taking the time to leave a review. We're disappointed to hear that you have a few concerns, but we would love the opportunity to assist with these. We are pet friendly and though due to the footprint of the building we're not able to provide an outdoor off-leash space at this time, we do offer an indoor relief area for pets and we're lucky to be within walking distance of public parks and several dog parks. If you're not receiving communications from us, let's get together and make sure your email address is correct and your resident portal settings are correct. Garage outages are never planned unless these is scheduled maintenance, but that maintenance shouldn't cause the garage to \"go out\". Any mechanical issues are always notified via email. And elevator reservations are always posted via a sign and/or through an email notice. Again, if an unplanned mechanical issue arrises, we will always send out an email as soon as we are in the office and able to do so
This is, hands down, the best apartment I've ever lived in. I have zero complaints and can't think of a way to improve it. It's great. I love the staff, the events they put on are so much fun and creative (examples: Adopt-a-Plant and Valentines Make a Bouquet.) The apartment itself is slick and filled with light. The kitchen is amazing, huge bathroom, and ample closet space.

A big motivator for me personally in deciding where to live is the staff. My first impression (with Windy) was really great. She was really kind, informative and efficient throughout the entire application process and move in process. My dog also really loves Windy (and the rest of the crew) so that's a good sign. The amenities are great. Beautiful apartment and layout. Feels considerably safe as well. I love that there seems to be weekly community events for the residents. Overall really happy to be here.

The elevators and hallways are always in need of vacuuming and the hallway walls are all dinged up from I suppose, cart traffic from movers, etc.
