Property Ratings at The Phenix At Infinity Park
Living at The Tiffany Apartment, operated by Urban Phenix, was the single worst rental experience of my life. Where do I even begin? Security is nonexistent. The lock on the front door has been broken for ages, leading to frequent package theft. My Bluetooth water bottle was stolen from outside my door, and when I tracked it to my neighbor’s apartment and reported it, nothing was done. The mailboxes are regularly broken into, and at one point, they were left wide open for days, making it a free-for-all for thieves. Management did nothing to address these issues despite multiple complaints. Safety is a joke. The halls are often filled with mentally ill individuals roaming unchecked. I had to call the police twice for disturbances caused by drug addicts wreaking havoc. On one occasion, I caught someone snorting drugs in the laundry room. Despite reporting this to management, no action was taken. You’re left feeling unsafe in your own home, with no reassurance from the people running the property. Maintenance is a disaster. The washing machines rarely work, yet they make no effort to repair or replace them. The lights in the hallways frequently go out, and when they send someone for repairs, it’s worse than useless. Maintenance once entered my apartment to inspect a neighbor’s heater issue, made a hole in my wall, and then charged me for the damage when I moved out! Utility charges are absurd and feel arbitrary. Despite the low rent, they gouge you on utilities, and the charges make no sense. Several tenants, including myself, complained about the costs, especially since nothing seemed to work correctly. It’s a scam designed to nickel-and-dime tenants while neglecting the actual property. Dishonest and disreputable management. When you move out, expect to be charged for everything imaginable, including essential wear and tear they would have to address anyway. They are unprofessional, inconsiderate, and clearly out to squeeze every last penny from tenants without providing a safe or functional living environment. Save yourself the misery. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly low rent—the hidden costs, rampant crime, and complete lack of professionalism make The Tiffany Apartment a nightmare. You deserve better.
The rent is reasonable, maintenance team is always on top of their work, no issues with the apartment. Parking is unprotected and this is Denver. Break ins and theft are pretty common, but I think its an unavoidable risk living in denver. Gets a little chilly in winter, but nothing a space heater can't fix. Overall, I had a good experience living here.
This place is unruly. Safety is not enforced. My car was broken into and attempted to be stolen in the first 3 weeks of me living here. I was later accosted by someone in the parking lot at night, clearly very drunk and meandering. I've had to call the cops to remove loud gatherings in the lot. And when a tenant was murdered on the property, staff did not notify everyone. I had to learn this by seeing it on the news. My heat broke in the winter and it took them a week to respond (this was during the coldest dates with negative windchill and my unit was sitting at 56 degrees). Do not move here.
DONT LEASE HERE, PLEASE. Constant break ins, a recent partnership with Wyatt’s Towing (just Google Wyatt’s if you don’t know why that says a lot about the property), constant car break ins and thefts (none of the cameras work so they won’t provide police with footage when you file a report), heat doesn’t work, water is regularly shut off or just no hot water at all, rodents, exorbitant monthly charges for utilities to upkeep the building no matter how little you use (and despite the fact that you will be paying electricity and Internet elsewhere), no amenities or elevator, property manager will not help you…I could go on and on. Safety, laundry machines that work, heat, hot water, respectful and responsive management, etc are all worth your money. This place isn’t. Reviews with higher stars were gained by them sending maintenance guys in to ask for 5 star reviews of MAINTENANCE not the building - that’s how bad it is there. Stay away.
Beware, this apartment complex is in a high crime rate area. Car break ins, car thefts, vandalism, and stolen packages are all a very big problem at this complex. Management is fully aware of this situation and has not been interested in doing anything to resolve the situation. If you're ok with finding used needles in the parking lot and broken glass on the ground from the car that was stolen the night before, this is the place for you! It's worth noting that the best thing about the complex is the maintenance team, they are incredibly friendly and helpful with any issues. Unfortunately the crime in the area greatly overshadows the wonderful maintenance team.
This review is specific to the maintenance team of Joe and Jorge. These guys are courteous, accommodating and genuinely great people to know. We’ve lived in the complex for 7 years now. Most of the small stuff we try and take care of ourselves (ie lightbulbs) but they insist to submit a work order. They’ve replaced our garbage disposal and most recently expedited our request to replace our a/c unit that was on its last leg. They even helped me jump our car just because they happened to be in the parking lot at the same time. For that we’re grateful. We see them often the same day of a work order or worst case the next morning. Always polite and sympathetic. One thing you don’t have to worry about at the Phenix is maintenance. We love these guys for making our life easier. In apartment living there’s only so much you can control and knowing the maintenance team has you means the world.
I would stay far away as possible. The additional fees that they had each month are ridiculous making your rent roughly 200 dollars more. Heaters don't work in bedroom, 70% of the time we can't get hot water, plan on your vehicle to get towed and it costing you $260 I don't think it's the apartment managers themselves that report your vehicle I think it's the private towing companies contract that they have. Apartment managers clearly don't care that their tenants are unhappy. I'm glad we just gave our notice.
The ridiculous charges for parking when there is ample parking available have created traffic, parking and safety issue for the surrounding neighborhoods. Residents renting units of these buildings often park on side streets 2-3 blocks away creating headaches for local homeowners.
