Situated on the northeast side of Raleigh along I-540, Triangle Town Center wraps around its namesake mall and includes two additional shopping areas -- Plantation Point and Capital Crossing. This popular shopping district contains everything from large department stores to specialty shops, and fast-food restaurants to locally-owned dining hotspots. Property Ratings at The Piedmont Raleigh
Let's start with the "smallest issues" * I've seen mice and roaches in the hallways. * The elevators break down once a month and it takes days to fix which means the lovely trash service you pay for won't be picked up and the hallways start to smell. *They do not enforce the no smoking rule, the hallways and elevators CONSTANTLY smell like weed. *The outside is not maintained and you will see bags of trash opened and left by the apartment alongside the dog poop that doesn't get picked up. *The windows and doors have not been sealed properly which means your energy bill will be higher in the winter and summer. Here are the bigger issues we have faced since moving: *Within the first 3 months of living here, there was a shooting /murder that took place outside of our apartment. You'll typically see a cop car at one of the buildings every week. *They have a towing policy, my car was almost towed for having expired tags. We asked the front office about this and asked where in our lease it says our car can be towed for having expired tags...we never received that info. We searched the lease up and down and didn't find the answer:) *It rained really hard last year and our ceiling began to leak. We had maintenance come check things out and they said they would fix it, but it was never corrected and now we are smelling mold from the ceiling never being fixed. We called about this issue 3 times fyi. *Most recently, we were charged twice for our rent. I submitted one payment and the second was taken without our consent. When we asked the apartment about this issue, they said there was nothing they could do and that we would have a $35 fee once our bank refunded the payment. Fast forward to now, I am trying to pay our rent while out of town. I cannot make a payment online because of this fee due to the apartments negligence. They are stating we need to pay via cashiers check (another fee unless you have an account that omits those) before the 5th or ANOTHER fee will occur. How am I supposed to pay out of town? They are refusing to take the fee away and have stated someone will call us. Crickets, no one has called us and we still can't pay rent. These aren't even all of the issues. Just check out the rest of the reviews. The Piedmont is slowly becoming the trashiest apartments and I will be calling an attorney general along with the BBB if my issues are not resolved.
The layout of the 1 Bedroom apartment is very nice. I think the community has been very friendly. I would like to stay longer if the building would remain clean and maintained. Also, the rent increase is double than other areas near by.. What sucks is the building is not the most appealing inside and outside. The front door box for residents to enter the building has been broken over a year and it just has tape all around and the gray box you can even read the text. It's embarrasing bringing guest over and that's the first thing you see. The interior hallways the carpet is black and the elevator dirty all the time. This apartment complex could have so much potential if it was maintained nicely.
Great place to live. Easy access to everything. It's right next to the 540 belt line, Walmart, and the Triangle Town Center mall. The staffs are great. I really love it here.
I was one of the first residents to move into my building. I'm going on year 4. That should speak volumes as to the living conditions, rental staff, and maintenance folk. Love the location and amenities.
The complex is quiet. A good place to chill and relax. There is no need to worry about noise or being bothered. I am looking forward to the summer here.

Management cares about the residents concerns. So I am thankful for the past 4 years even though I’m moving on when my lease is up I have enjoyed being a resident here.
Great location next to major highway. Grounds are pretty clean and maintenance responds quickly to work orders. Noise level is ok most of the time.
Everything is very nice and cozy and the staff's attention is very good. A very good community with pets and companion animals. a peaceful and wonderful life.
My experience here so far has been great. I love my apartment and the quickness of maintenance requests. All the staff are amiable and care about the residents.

Everything has been great. Not a lot of noise, Peaceful, and for the most part pretty clean. Love the location the building is in. Everything is very close and easy to get to.
Best apartments In The RDU Area everything is so close and Amenities are priceless not to mention the Cost of utilities are low low ! Would recommend to anyone and everyone
I been here for 3 years and love the apartments and neighborhood. The managment here is so nice and keeps the residence in form on everything.
Since I moved here, I have had no complaints! Everyone is nice and maintenance comes in a timely manner. I wish people would keep the apartment halls clean. But they have a cleaning crew that comes every Monday to clean up the mess that residents make.
Great spot to live! Love it! Very happy!!! No bug problems which is why I picked it! Lots of new and hip appliances which makes me look extra rich!
Reasonable rent. Only had to submit a few noise complaints. Leasing office and maintenance responds in a timely manner. Enjoyed living here so far.
Great place to live, the building we are in is quiet and the property is clean. We have our first child on the way and the quite building has made us happy
I have thoroughly enjoyed living here! I would give the Piedmont 5 stars if the clubhouse was open later on the weekdays and weekends, and if the dumpsters were emptied more frequently. Otherwise, a lovely place to live!

community is cool, pretty clean and well kept. Wish there was a secure place to get packages because i have gotten my packages stolen a few times but overall staff is nice and pleasant.

The complex is pretty great! It smells amazing in the buildings and for the most part, it’s kept pretty clean all of the time. I just wish the trash company would be more consistent with picking up trash. Some days are missed unfortunately. Also I feel like the amenities should be accessible after hours. Also it would be cool to do events as a community

I am disappointed at this point. I was very happy when I first moved here but not now. One; I had no clue of the noise from the street, cars racing up and down racing the motors all during the day and night on TownCenter Blvd. Not that Piedmont can control that to my knowledge. You could file a complaint with the police department. Two; The fact that we cannot use the clubhouse unless the office is open which is during everyone business hours and the weekend. What's the point of advertising the clubhouse as an amenity? It's always empty during the day because most of us have the same work hours that the office does. Three: Since Ms. Moore left; it's hard getting through to the office during the day or getting things taken into consideration. Four; I accidently hit the submit button on my rent because it appeared that it wasn't submitted, and I was charged $35, and NO ONE tried to help me get it refunded. The Portal is very confusing.

Average place to live. Communication about simple things not communicated. Nothing included within the community besides the amenities. Wish this complex has more to offer than just paying rent.

There are a lot of car break ins. It’s ridiculous! This place needs cameras around the building and inside to ensure safety. Otherwise, the staff is good
The apartments are in an amazing location and the parking is not bad. However the game room is closed after hours, and there is homeless people living in the woods, so when on the balcony you looking at tent city and the freeway noise.

The apartment is amazing, location, amenities, & elevator. Parking has not been great can never find a parking space even with the mandatory parking permit .
been here for almost a year, good place so far. great to know that I can leave home and if a package is delivered, it’ll be there when I return home.
Honestly as my lease is rounding the corner to an end I’m very glad that it is. This apartment experience was just ok and I wish it would have been better. It’s not my intention to renew with them. Some of the fees are outrageous especially when you don’t utilize that service as a tenant. The trash dumpster area could use a little more care especially on the weekends, the over flow of trash is a sight for sore eyes. Tenants need to learn the trash pick up schedule because I think it’s disgusting to have over flowing trash cans sitting in the hallways and that’s going to start attracting bugs and rodents in the units and that’s nasty. I wish the complex was more family friendly but sadly it’s not, all we have is a pool. I don’t intend for this review to be perceived as negative but as a way for the management to work on the missed opportunities to make the living experience here better for all.
Super good, everything in perfect condition, a very nice place and its workers are attentive, fast and efficient. On the other hand, the apartment is beautiful and very spacious and comfortable.

Everyone is very nice and friendly! However, parking is such a pain, it's terrible when two people park over the line and you have to squeeze between them to get the last spot. Other than that, I love it.
This is the worst apartment I've ever stayed in. It looks good inside & out but definitely not worth the price. I'm on the 4th floor & can hear my loud neighbors under me & have to deal with loud neighbors beside me. The office doesn't do anything about it so there's no need in reaching out to them. A red flag for me was all the moving trucks that you see almost every week. Now I know why because you'll have no peace here. The parking is ridiculous, hallways trashy, building smells like smoke all the time, neighbors are very inconsiderate, walls/floors are thin, & the office staff only care about rent money. Don't waste your hard earned money moving here unless you want to deal with aggravation or have literally no other options! Please don't reply asking me to call or send an email to discuss my review because I've sent several emails regarding these same issues & y'all never reply back or do anything about the noise we have to deal with on up to 3am

Love it here, very friendly neighbors and quiet. Love how the maintenance are quick to fix any concerns. Ladies who work in office are also great very riendly
3 years in and I’m still loving it here. The management staff works diligently to keep the property looking like the upscale community that it is. I’m sure it can be difficult at times to Do so with a few who choose not to maintain it but they do an awesome job!

I am really enjoying my stay here at Piedmont Apartments. I enjoy the location, being near restaurants and shopping. The common areas are usually clean and fairly quiet.
My time here at the Piedmont has been lovely thus far! The only areas that could be improved would be more frequent hallway cleanup (occasional messes in lobby / front door push lever was broken for close to 2 weeks although didn’t impact safety) and I wish the clubhouse was open for longer hours / at night. The leasing assistants are so kind and the apartment itself is lovely.
First year completed and I have to say I love it here! So many businesses around also so it is very convenient to live here. Worth every penny!
it’s a nice apartment inside but the upkeep in the building is not the best. Maintenance isn’t great, it’s usually always a smell or trash in the hallways. A lot of packages get stolen as well.

I’ve really enjoyed my time staying here, I haven’t had any issues honestly & staff is great. I’m pleased to be experiencing once again another year with the Piedmont.
So far my stay at the Piedmont has been amazing. I have had no issues with parking, noise, or any of the other common nuisances of living in an apartment complex. The location is close to Target and Walmart, so convenient!

Great location with many stores in walking distance. The property grounds are well kept and the dog grenades are less and less spread out on the grass which was a terrible issue before but is under way better control now.
I love living here so much! I can’t wait to renew my lease. I have recommended this place to many people and have nothing but nice things to say!
