Property Ratings at The Pines at Tuttle Crossing
A fine place to live. Feels fairly safe and has streetlights that keep the streets lit at night. However, rent is much higher than other similar apartments and is likely the reason that so many units are empty. Furthermore, the complex doesn’t seem to alert residents when there is crime in the complex such as when a saw bullet holes in a fence that had been covered with white tape the next day or when someone drove their car through the brick wall at the entrance— both happened with no notification from management. I also saw someone carrying a gun when I was walking my dog one day. Also there is dog poop everywhere! Finally, the gym equipment is old and breaking. New machines are more diverse equipment is needed. Keep in mind that every complex has its flaws.
I really enjoyed the apartments I lived in for two years at this complex. They were spacious, had natural lighting, great parking, and good amenities. However, the complex office was highly incompetent. I could never reach them by phone, they never followed up or answered questions, each person you spoke with would tell you something different. If you needed anything from the office you would need to call or stop by multiple times to remind them to do their jobs. The complex also covered up the fact that my neighbor murdered someone in cold blood at the entrance of both of our apartments, and never notified the community or surrounding neighbors of what I had witnessed. They never cleaned up the blood outside but were quick to gut the inside of the other apartment to get it ready for new tenants. The only good thing they did in that situation allowed me to an apartment across the complex after I mentioned that I had worn the complex about these neighbors multiple times and if they would have done anything then the entire situation could have been prevented. The apartments are nice, affordable and in a great area of Dublin, I would just like to warn future tenants that the office has no idea what they are doing.
I was very disappointed in the Pines at Tuttle Crossing. We went in for an appointment and while we waited were told to take ourselves on a tour of the model, that would have been fine but when the leasing agent finally found us instead of telling us about the community and letting us know what the amenities were she just asked if we had any questions. We were there maybe 10 min in total. What really bothered me was the lack of follow up. We went to three additional communities that day and that evening I had emails thanking me for my visit from all but The Pines. We decided on the Pines only because they offered attached garages so I called to ask about how to apply. I had to leave a message and no one called back, I emailed the leasing agent and heard nothing back. By the next afternoon I called again and finally got to speak to someone, they were kind enough to send me the link to the applications. On that Monday I decided to fill out the application but something told me to look up reviews online. I did and found more negative one's than positive, that wouldn't have worried me as much as the lack of follow up or communication. My worry was if we had an issue or a maintenance request would we ever get it solved? If they are like this with potential residents how are they with current ones? I used to be in leasing for an apartment complex and I know the importance of following up with people and also trying to give people a well informed tour. At the end of the day I felt like they cared less. I haven't told them we chose another place and it has been a week with still no follow up to see if I was still interested. I am so glad we chose to live elsewhere.
Staff was great before moving in.Once we did, they hang up on me when I asked for what they falsly offered (I have recordings). I have lived here for 8 months and they have not fixed the entrance and pool gate, so we have no access to the pool on holidays, evenings or weekends. The pool is dirty too often. Repairs take a month before completed, my shower has been dripping so much that the walls are yellow now (even after I scrubbed them). It looks nice outside, but the walls are so thin I can hear my neighbors talking. The gym is outdated and nasty. I hate it here. Cannot wait to move out!!!
A good start for the people at the leasing office is to learn to be polite with and treat potential new tenants with respect.
It is quiet and calm (I am at the far end street). There are no walk paths so you have to walk on the street to get to the clubhouse. The gym is very outdated and opens only during office hours. No recycle, only trash. Car wash works only here and there. Cheaply build, so windows let the cold in, making gas and electricity expensive. Maintenance issues take a while, but the guys are nice and respectful. I like the garage in my unit and we got new appliances. The carpet is also cheap and gets stains very easily. Overall ok. No major issues. I Will not renew my lease though.
Jordan is one useless manager! She display no sort of professionalism and does not allow you to speak to her superiors. STAY AWAY! They do not maintain their apartments well at all! The maintenance staff leaves your door unlocked after they leave your apartment. I have asked several times to speak to her superiors, but she won't let you. This is how she protects herself. Very noisy apartments and they smell bad. You get odors from joining apartments, which is very unpleasant.
The staff is really bad. They just find the ways to scrutinize applicants and tried to get extra money from you. . Please stay away from this apartment if you don't want get treated as stash
I was promised something which was not kept when I singed the lease, they just say you anything and everything possible but that would not reflect in the lease. They break the promises very easily be aware folks only come here if you just want no control on the situation, the situation only and only favors them which is a money loss for customers/tenants.
I did not like the way I was treated on the phone.
I've lived at The Pines for about two years, the unit I live in was built shortly before I moved in, I was the first tennant. I am writing to warn people away from this complex. The apartments are incredibly cheaply built, almost every appliance (AC, heating unit, dishwasher, washing machine) has broken in my time here. The front office staff is by far the worst I've ever dealt with and I've rented for 13 years in many different cities. They are rude and completely unwilling to do anything including processing maintenance requests. And there is mold in the water, probably an illegal amount, it is completely disgusting. I'm happily leaving in a month, DO NOT RENT HERE!
four years and i feel like home good staff helpfull
I have been staying in The Pines since June 2017, so far the experience has been awesome. It is a well maintained clean community.Maintaince is pretty good here compared to the other apartment communities nearby. We had a smoke detector malfunctioning outside the normal business hours ,but the maintainance technician was very prompt and helpful in helping resolve the issue.I would definitely suggest this apartment community if you are looking for an apartment in Dublin.
I have been residing here since June 2017 and must state so far everything is awesome. Leasing office staff Walter, Lesley then the Manager Cody all are amazing and there to help constantly. Must state Maintenance here at Pines is remarkable, all our work order requests were taken care of on time.I would say the only little area of improvement which is required in the apartment complex at this moment is fully equipped GYM and 24*7 clubhouse.
Have been living here since mid 2014, well maintained place, peaceful community, above all the office staff are very friendly and helpful. The maintenance is prompt and taken care as needed. I have recommended this place to a lot of my friends and colleagues.
The staff is super rude and unhelpful if you have any issues. they rarely fixed maintenance requests and charged me for things I didn't break when I moved out. Kids are unsupervised in this neighborhood, which is great but more than once kids rode into my parked car while parked in my driveway. Rent is reasonable for this area but you are paying for an overpriced, poorly made piece of crap.
My wife and I recently moved into The Pines after finding out that we would be having a baby and we needed to find an affordable place to live. The Pines is a perfect place for us! The leasing staff really made finding the right apartment easy! Maintenance is great, any issue we had was taken care of almost immediately. The community is wonderful, very quiet and the other residents are very friendly. I would recommend The Pines for anyone that is in search for great quality at a fair price!
Move this year i though since its a high end place they will treat us like guest worst place to live. They will lie about any thing just to get in right after you sign the lease you just pay the rent dont expect anything from them take about a week if you need maintainace requirement and some time they told you its your fault so you have to pay too so be carefull not worth it for the price you pay here
My wife and I just recently bought a home and will be moving out of The Pines after having been here for 7 years. I wanted to write this review as a thank you to the staff and maintenance for being so wonderful throughout the years. We felt at home while staying at The Pines and will truly miss our apartment. Would strongly suggest to anyone I know!
This place is very cheaply built the wind in the winter blows threw Windows and electric sockets black sludge comes out of water faucets owners walk in unannounced while my wife and daughter was asleep for the money poor place to live
Maintenance staff is terrible. Front office staff will lie to you to get you in the door. We had issues with the seals on our front door to the point of being able to see light from outside. Contacted maintenance about the issue all they did was "inspect" the seals and said they were fine. Then in the winter time we placed a glass of water by the front door (inside the apartment), it froze over over night. There is a reason why they have so many vacancies... I will NEVER recommend this apartment to anyone.
My husband and I recently moved into the pines and we absolutely love it here. The apartment is huge, plenty of storage in the kitchen as well as the closets. The office staff are very courteous and helpful and the other residents are friendly as well. We plan on being here for several years.
My Place is The Place that is HOME ! My Space that is Me with the feel of a Home and Safe Cozy Comfort ! All the Extras of the House in a Compact Size ! But I know That Soon I will be Looking for Maybe another Front Door Apt with a Garage !
My boyfriend and I started out here after college. We have a baby on the way and a dog. This space is great for those who are trying to start their lives in a safe and comfortable environment and not be wasting all their money on rent fees. Compared to other places, the rent is good for the quality of apartment and amenities that it has to offer. Lastly, the amount of green space is great for my dog who needs a lot of exercise.
