Property Ratings at The Pines of Wilmington
The original unit we moved into had not been cleaned, carpets were not cleaned, and the building had an active bed bug problem. They told me I could move in my furniture on wet carpets if I wanted the carpet cleaned. They moved us to a new unit that had obvious signs of water damage (rotting cabinet under sink), a broken bathroom vanity, completely rusted bathtub, cracked and missing shower tiles, obvious signs of a roast infestation. Every rain storm brought water into the bedroom and bathroom and the only solution (according to management) was industrial fans that I had to pay the electric bill for and we ended up having a serious mold problem. You can peel the carpets up and see the mold covered layer underneath and concrete floors. The amenities are disgusting, specifically the laundry rooms that had more broken machines than functioning ones. The buildings REEK of cigarettes, there is an abandoned tennis court they advertise on their website that residents drink in and play loud music and soccer in at night. We paid our final utility bill but they took it out of our security deposit anyway. Website and photos are false advertising. This place is disgusting and they just want to take your money.
This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. It is really run down. The pictures you see here look nothing like how the place is kept. Drive through and see for yourself. Not only that its halfway through summer and the pool still is not open. The walls are really thin can hear everything.cannot wash clothes in laundry rooms because nobody services or cleans the appliances. Clothes always come out smelling like mildew..Maintenance do a very poor job..would not recommend to anyone. Rent is way to high for how terrible of a place this is. If I could rate it at a zero I would but 1 star is the lowest you can choose
My apartment is secluded yet still close to everything. Not only does it have a playground, a tennis court, but also a pool. The maintenance staff are always swift in repairs. The apartment is comfortable and homey.
