Property Ratings at The Pines
I wrote to them asking specific question about the lease terms and they gave me a stock response and avoided the actual question. Then, I responded explaining that my question had not been addressed and never received a response. That just reflects poor management.
My experience living at The Pines was a positive one. I found the leasing office staff very friendly and helpful before and during my living there. When I needed maintenance, arrangements were quickly made and the maintenance staff was pleasant and accommodating and respectful of my request to be home when they came. I was new to the area but found the location very convenient to many things.
Just an overall very poor living experience with the below par staff, lousy ground keeping, mediocre apartments, oh and the numerous dents in my NEW car from acorns over my "assigned parking" spot. Very over priced for what you get.
Just ok conditions of the apartments but definitely over priced. What's more, they have Horrible management, bad leasing manager with unbelievably attitude. Whenever you have something need to schedule with them, you will get bad response. Just forget the chance of having the managers do things after you sign your lease. Probably should have avoided them and listened to others comments before signing the lease...
Poor management, units in bad condition, noisy, unreasonable stress on residents, planning for major work and notifying residents accordingly never happens, Grounds are in bad shape, cost of heating is split while the hallways are set to 70 or 75 degrees throughout spring and windows are left open, No privacy and every single sound in the building can be heard throughout, water leaks from everywhere (and judging by poor patch work in past, leaks themselves have never been fixed, only covered), and sometimes multiple notices a month that maintenance or management company will be entering apartments at random - even without knocking or communicating the correct day beforehand. Management will either be unreasonable or claim to have maintenance requests, etc. under control when it seems they never actually follow up on a thing or provide accurate information. Trash and recycling is always overflowing (sometimes 10 to even 50 bags will pile up out in the street.) Sidewalks are never shoveled. Half the stairs and walkways turn into a sheet of ice.
