Property Ratings at The Place At Harvestree
I have lived here for 2 years now and before that 2 years before I moved to a house. The lady's in the office are understand and super sweet. They are fast at getting things fixed right and they understand you when you are trying to explain something to them. They care and are always looking to improve things here. The maintenance men are nice and they are to lesson to your problem. They fix it right the fist time.the land is kept up nicely and hardly any trash around.i will be here for a long time.
We moved in a little more than a year ago. My children and I could not be happier with the complex it is quiet and both animal and people friendly. The office staff are on top of all requests and maintainence issues. I wish rent was less expensive but other than that zero complaints!
This complex is the perfect home for a family. It is very family oriented, there is a nice tennis court, no late night partying or questionable characters. The pool is great, front office staff is very friendly and always willing to help with a smile. They are even very understanding, they have a program to help if you have difficulty paying your rent there is a one time fee forgiveness. There is even an ability to upgrade to a bungalow where you have no neighbors and a back yard!!!! If you are looking for a true home this is a great place to start!!!!
Okay apartment a little old. But great size for the price, and good location.
My son and I have lived here for several years now and we've been happy. The management are really friendly and the maintenance is good. It's been a godsend to be able to afford the rent somewhere west of 75 so my son can stay in the Plano SH district. Plano's prices have sky-rocketed and this property has stayed reasonable on my increases year after year so that we haven't had to move. Our apartment i the largest floorplan and we love the spacious kitchen. See if you can get new appliances before move in. Ours are really old, but they all still work so... ya know. I also have two big closets in my master bedroom and I love that. The patios are tiny. If that's a big deal to you keep looking. There's only enough room for a couple chairs. My neighbors are all pretty nice. One family kept an eye on my teen while I traveled recently and another guy is always offering to walk my dog. The dog park is kind of small, but I take my dog to Jack Carter Dog Park which is literally a 3 minute drive from us. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there isn't anything great within a good walking distance. Aside from McDonald's and a gas station you kind of have to hike if you want to walk anywhere like a grocery store or restaurant. It's also not incredibly close to the schools, but there is a bus that runs for middle and HS on Dibrell.
I've been at The Place at Harvestree Apartments now for a few years and, overall, the apartment is "OK." However, the apartments are a bit overpriced considering what you're getting (or what you aren't getting.) The apartment features could use an update/renovation; the appliances are older, the kitchen tiles come up, the carpet is flat & cheap, and the walls are thin. The community, however, is quiet and very nice. The "walkability" of the complex is moderate, but you're centrally located around dozens of shops, restaurants and grocery store options. You are also only 15-20 minutes (in either direction) away to the three major malls in Plano/Frisco. If this apartment was a $150-$200 cheaper, then moving here would be a no-brainer. Like Michael Jordan dunking over 4th graders. However, due to its age, lack of decent amenities, slow maintenance response speed and shoddy apartment build, it's hard to recommend. Like Shaq hitting a 3-point shot. Or watching Kazaam.
