Property Ratings at The Players Club of Brentwood
Any problem I have had in the three hrs. I’ve been here have promptly been corrected by Yassin. Best maintanence Ever!
At the Players Club of Brentwood... the Maintenance manager Yassin is awesome. He will take excellent care of you if you have any issues with anything. He replaced my dishwasher and gave me a digital thermostat. I cannot say enough great things about Yassin. He came after hours and fixed my issues. He is truly an assest to the complex.
We just moved here two weeks ago, and were surprised how nice the location is, and all the amenities (24/7 gym access, indoor raquetball, pool, hot tub, and outdoor volleyball and tennis courts) and not to mention the safe walking trail by a creek and a dog park area! This morning, one of the owners/workers were handing out muffins and Sunny D orange juice to cars on their way to work at 7:30am, in the cold too! The price of the apartments was very reasonable, and they have rules that your neighbors can't make their balcony patios look trashy which I think is a great thing. It's definitely a safe place, which is important for me since my husband works nights. So far so good, haven't seen any bugs at all, don't know what these other reviewers dealt with. I've called maintenance for a few minor things and was surprised at how prompt they were in coming out and fixing the problem and happy to do it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because things are very outdated(mainly in the kitchen), but I guess for the price, I kind of knew what I was getting. The other thing is the walls are a little too thin meaning I can sometimes hear my neighbors music when they are in their cars in the parking lot. Overall, a good place to live.

The apartment always has something broke and the maintenance never fix it timely. If you live here you will always bear the pain for the broken.
I lived at the Players Club for a short 6 months and was very happy to leave. The leasing agent and the people in the office were very friendly, however, that is about all the good things I can say about this place. Everything is old and outdated, and basically falling a part. In the 6 months we lived there I had to put in multiple maintenance requests for the oven door falling off, the a/c unit breaking and was causing the ceiling to leak, the stove tops stopped working, the disposal stopped working and BUGS BUGS BUGS BUGS. I cannot stress enough how many bugs are in this place. Cockroaches, spiders, I was getting bug bites in my own apartment. I was happy with the rent here being so low, until I realized that this place wasn't even worth the low price they were charging. We also had an issue because we were told the amount of cars we were allowed to have when we initially moved in, but apparently this was incorrect information relayed to us and instead of a friendly email or a note on our door from management asking that we remove one car, we received a letter from a LAWYER. I spoke with a nice woman in the office who explained that was just standard procedure for how they handle even the smallest issues. This idea of receiving letters from lawyers seems very cold, and does not make an apartment complex feel like a home. That was at the beginning of our lease and definitely left a bad taste in our mouth the rest of our time there. Felt very secluded in the area as well.

We are disappointed to read such a negative review of our community. Unfortunately, we do not have any work orders for bug issues in your file but we would greatly appreciate if you would reach out to us directly at (615) 781-2430 so we can address all concerns. Thank you,
I have been living here for 7 months now and I truly enjoy it. The maintenance is super friendly and helpful. I love all the amenities here and makes it super convenient. They recently got a dog park which is the best to bring my dog to. The rent is extremely reasonable and compared to other prices in the area, you can't go wrong. It is a older property but I definitely do not find it lower class. Until I am ready for a house, I believe I will stay here. I have lived in several different apartments and this definitely has my approval.
Water was leaking from my ac and I need to invite maintenance guy 5 times in my apartment to get it fixed. It was horrible experience , my whole carpet got wet , was afraid of switching on-off ac. Now water is leaking from refrigerator , maintenance guy had already fixed it from his perspective. As usual , water is again leaking and I have raised another maintenance request. Also leasing office guys rarely reply to your calls and emails.
I really wanted to like this place. The price was great and considering the downtown area was just unreasonable it seemed like a good choice, but everyday it feels like a regret coming to live here. So I urge you not to come here; let me tell you about my experiences: 1. They have very strict co-signing rules so they made us jump through a lot of unnecessary hoops (the co-signer's pay stubs, co-signer fee, the co-signer's background check, and they needed for the co-signer to sign the lease in person (which they failed to mention to us)). 2. The amount of bugs is just disgusting. They spray every other month but it really doesn't do anything. 3. The laundry facilities are horrendous. The washer costs $1.50 and the spin cycle doesn't work on any of the machines so the clothes come out sopping wet, which then takes 3 times to dry it which costs $1.25 each time you dry. 4. I talked to the office several times about rent payment and I was assured that it should be paid on a later date than what was the actual due date. So I had to pay an extra fee to them because of either their greediness or their lack of knowledge about the company they work for. 5. Lastly, we have seen some problems in our own unit which have taken more than two weeks and counting for them to see to. I have called roughly 5 times and they keep making a new excuse as to why they can't come. It's unprofessional and I would pity anyone that would have to deal with this too. Consider yourself warned.

I have been living at the players club for 8 months now and it has been a bitter-sweet experience. It was my first first place away from my parents house so you could say I was pretty ecstatic to move in. I chose I live in The Players Club as oposed to other apartments in the area because of the location (6 minutes from interstate), it was a safe area, and of course, the amenities. The players club has (at first glance) a beautiful spa an pool area, high quality Raquet ball, volley ball, basketball, and tennis courts. It also has a beautiful walking trail, and creek that leads under a quiet bridge. It seemed like the perfect place. Once moved in, my entire opinion changed. The apartment smelled horrible, you could hear everything the people next to you were doing and there were cockroaches everywhere. If you don't have a washer/dryer GET ONE. Their washers over-soak your clothes so you have to dry your clothes multiple times just to get them semi-damp, and there isn't a quarter machine. Luckily there's a laundromat right down the street but it's in a bad part of town so you never know what kind of people are going to also be washing there clothes. The speed bumps to get to your apartment are HUGE. Like, abnormally large. You have to slow down to 5mph just to be able to get over them without having your bumper fall off. It's really frustrating especially if you're in a hurry. When you call maintenance to fix a problem and you don't answer the door when they come, they'll come in anyways. Even if you're in the shower or asleep. All the appliances are really outdated, our stove and dishwasher have to be from the 70s. In other words, nothing about this place is updated. I will say that they are very quick to fix a problem and it's always fixed, except for the bug issue. The cockroaches here are everywhere and they're huge. It's probably the top thing I hate about this place. When it comes to rent, we pay $1,062 for 2br 2bath. Rip off. The master bedroom is a great size, the bathroom is really small, and the closet it a pretty good size. The other bedroom is small but the bathroom is huge (not connected), the closet is almost the same size as the masters closet. Our carpets had stains when we moved in. All the kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets are wooden with an off-white surface. It's not a very good combination. All in all this place is lower than average especially for the price you pay.
The people are nice, and amenities are as promised. It's an average place to live for a decent price. The pool and hot tub are great. The buildings are a bit older but not falling apart or anything like that. My main issues are I can't really use my balcony because it is constantly infested with wasps nests, and the office is only open from 830am to 5pm during the week so it's impossible to get your packages if you work during normal business hours. Overall, you probably won't love it but you probably won't hate it.
I have lived in the Players Club over a year now. The staff is friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves are pretty small and outdated for the rent that they charge. The only reason it is so high is because of the location of the property being so close to Brentwood. I will say the one thing that stands out the most for my apartments is the amenities. Everything is open 24 hours including the gym, pool, huge hot tub, racquet ball courts and tennis courts. They also allow pretty much any size pet. The complex is also right down the street from three grocery stores and several fast and convenient dining options. Hope this helps!
