Property Ratings at The Pointe Apartments
Extremely poor maintenance, antiquated equipment, no rules enforcement and totally disrespectful office personnel contribute to an overall terrible rental experience. I would do anything possible to keep from renting from this dump. There are many better options in the El Paso area.

The first year the apartments were maintained adequately; however, the second year they were not maintained at all within reasonable standards. There were numerous safety concerns with the apartment including faulty smoke detectors and wiring that were not replaced for over a month even after emergency maintained and safety requests were reported to the office multiple times. I even had to replace the smoke detector on my own at my own expense as it failed and maintenance did not come by to replace it for several weeks and it was constantly going off and giving errors. Through out the two years that I stayed in this apartment there has not been adequate trash facilities. The one compactor the entire complex was often full for several days or broken and there was no where to dump the trash. I believe this insufficient facility has resulted in excessive rodents and roaches. Along with the maintenance issues experienced over the last year, there were numerous billing issues with the apartment complex that were never resolved even after multiple follow-ups. I was charged for insurance payment even after providing proof of insurance showing coverage during the full lease time. This issue was never resolved. On the second lease the first billing statement charged a higher rate than the signed contract. Upon providing notification to the office to move out at the end of my lease, I was threatened with breach of contract fees if I turned in keys early even though I was fulfilling the entire contract. After final inspection I received notification in the mail that the housing office was charging double what my normal water bill would be and they could not help me and required me to coordinate with the water trash contractor directly. Upon speaking with them they quoted a price of half what the apartment complex charged me. At this point I cannot recommend this apartment or their parent company to anyone because there are too many issues unresolved.

Would not recommend anyone to move in! I was a resident for a year and a half and it was the worst experience living there and specially moving out. To start off their amenities are awful. The whole time I lived there the jacuzzi was never filled. Pool was constantly dirty. Trash bags for dog poops were constantly out which lead to residents not picking up after their dogs and smelling awful. There is one trash dumpster for the whole apartments! Sunday nights it overfilled everytime and smelled disgusting Parking is limited Property manager ladies have some of the worst customer service ever. That’s just to start!! Moving out I followed the checklist and took care of the whole apartment cleaning myself. The resident portal showed a balance of zero and I went in to check in with the property managers. They informed me I had a payment of $179. I made that payment that exact same day.. Two months later, I got a letter that they had send me to collections. It has been a headache disputing the charge! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

Haley Residential, the management company, is only concerned with your money. The apartment upon move in was filthy! They use the word "upgrade," which really means that they just replace the faucets! BE FOREWARNED OF THAT! If the apartment that you cannot see isn't available until your move-in date because it is being "upgraded..." all you will get with that upgrade are your faucets replaced. That is all. That took them almost a full week to complete and the faucet is broken. Really?!? The apartment is poorly repaired. The ceiling is filthy! It is no longer white, it is brown. Repairs are needed, but were NOT done before the apartment was presented as move in ready! They show you the largest apartment as the model. Of course everything looks clean in there because no one has lived in it. BUYERS BEWARE! Fully walk the apartment before signing the lease. I mean, ask for the check-in paperwork before signing the lease, and spend at least an hour looking over everything. Even outside near the patio... you might get a dried dog poop surprise... I did! That doesn't even cover everything, but I did try and cover the basics. Do not rent here.

Since June 2019, with Haley Residential administration, we paid more for less, the community began to be oversights: garbage from the dumpster thrown onto the streets, laundry fails, dirty pool, rude and inefficient maintenance supervisor, just one person to attend all residents, many months there was no bilingual staff (El Paso is a 90% bilingual community), non-existent or inaccurate charges. In summary, the STAFF was the reason because we left The Pointe.

I lived there for the past 10 years and never had a problem. Customer service was excellent and maintenance service requests wee completed promptly. Excellent ambiance, and great views. Very understanding when under financial hardship and late payments. The only complaint was the return of my deposit as I moved out. When I moved in I was required a $1,400 deposit but as I moved out I was told that records had been lost when property was purchased by another company and new lessor was only transferred $650 on my behalf as deposit. I presented my original contract as a proof of my deposit but seems like I am not recovering it.

After an unexpected move, having such a cozy place is a blessing. I love the scenery and the trees with the apartments excellent location. The staff are polite and cheerful which was much needed during my move. The area is quiet and like a little oasis. Oh and the club house and gym are wonderful!

Living here at The Pointe in El Paso has been a dream. I've lived here 6 months and I adore it. The management is spectacular always smiling always helping their residents always polite. If something needs fixed the amazing Maintenance team is always here within hours and does a spectacular job they are kind and very informative. When I put in for a service request management always makes sure to ask me if it was done well. And the landscaping of this place is amazing in the desert town of El Paso grass and trees are far and in between but here every where you look there's gorgeous flowers tall trees and grass that is maintained almost daily. They also have a state of the art gym and clubhouse that is welcoming and elegant. Living here makes me feel like I'm at a secluded cabin lodge in the woods with a pool and hot tub and several bbq pits within my reach. They always make me feel like I'm an A list celebrity on my honey moon and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
Staff is very friendly and understanding, BUT apartment is out dated and has bug problem. Location is nice with good view, although its hard to find parking without having to pay extra.
This is a well-maintained complex with all that you need. Great views, beautiful landscaping, and friendly neighbors are just a few reasons to live at The Pointe
