La Vista is a small suburban community just 15 minutes south of downtown Omaha. La Vista is almost entirely residential, consisting of charming neighborhoods full of modern and preserved mid-century homes. Numerous public parks and community sports facilities round out the town, giving the city a lush, green backdrop. Small-town charm runs deep here, and the community values shopping local, but large retail centers like Southport Plaza provide more shopping and dining destinations. Residents of La Vista enjoy a peaceful city with a friendly atmosphere, making it a popular community for folks who work in Omaha but prefer a more tranquil home environment. Renters have a variety of apartments ranging from low to mid-rise styles.

Property Ratings at The Pointe Apartments
The management team is so rude. Every time I go to put in a work order, they say someone will come fix it but it never comes unless you go or call multiple times. I have had a leaking roof since May 2023, now we are in May 2024 and I’m still going back and forth with management to get it fixed. They are also other issues such as mold and other broken things around the apartment.

I put an application in to move to The Pointe apartments on the 1st of May. I was told it would be reviewed and they would call with answer if I was excepted or not. Well, I have fifteen days until I move and still no answer. I applied the begining of March! The office staff there is horrible!! I need to have an answer. This is giving me unnecessary stress and anxiety!!

This place is the worst if you actually care about repairs and miscommunication. I love my apartment but dealing with the management staff is NOT WORTH IT. The amount of BS I’ve dealt with is stupid

Thank you and we hope to resolve this promptly.
I've had numerous arguments and fights with both office staff and maintenance. They are terrible at fixing things and per the office refuse to negotiate on any help when the air conditioner keeps breaking or raising your rent over 2 or $300 they hang up on you all the time if they even answer the phone and maintenance makes you feel like an intruder in your own home. I wouldn't rent here. Can't even get a lease renewal on time to put in a request to leave if you want to. Also don't bother calling corporate they refuse to call you back no matter how many times you call or leave a message.

I lived here for 2 years and had a great experience! The staff was great, they worked with you. They let me and my gf stay as long as we needed to find another apartment and didnt charge us. Walkable to Walmart, its in a great area. I LOVED THIS PLACE!

We appreciate the kind words and invite you to let us know if there is anything we can do for you moving forward.
The apartments are beautiful and close to everything. The pools and work out center is great. Maintenance men are great, I do feel like our privacy and feeling of "home" gets taken away because they come in and invade our privacy every three months. Every other apartment I have ever lived in came in twice a year to change filters and left us in peace. I would rate apartments as Excellent if it was not for the rude office staff!!!! They are very "upset" and "rude" if they have to work. Never answer phones. Tricia should be replaced with a more personable, customer service oriented person. I can feel the tension when I visit the office.

We have lived there since August 26, 2016. We have been ideal tenants since day 1 - we have never been late or missed a payment, never filed a noise complaint, nor had one filed against us. The building we moved into is at a downhill slope and has major grading/draining issues and since we moved in, the flooding has been our only issue. The first year, it wasn’t too bad. Each time the building would get water in the entryway, we would submit a maintenance request and they would bring a fan to dry the carpet. The carpet was then replaced in the entry way in the fall of 2017. Spring of 2018, the same vicious cycle continued - rain, flooding, maintenance request, fan. It got to the point where they would leave the fan in the hallway and when we needed it, we would plug it in. Then came a winter of excess snow, quick melting, and LOTS of rain in the spring of this year. We have NEVER had so much water in our building as we have this year. In July of this year, after we had a very wet June, I noticed some seepage in the corner of my bedroom inside the apartment. As soon as I noticed it, I filed a maintenance request and a fan was brought that same day. I used that fan for a week straight. Within that same time period, I noticed that there was black mold forming/growing on the wall in the building entry. On July 10th, I emailed management with photos requesting this to be taken care of. Per the email that was received back from the management, maintenance was going to come in to “take off the baseboards and sanitize to get rid of the mildew.” When we got home the following day, there was no evidence of baseboard removal. We submitted our termination notice because THEY are outside the guidelines of the lease agreement yet they are still requiring us to pay next months rent and REFUSE to respond to any communications regarding the concern for our health, the health of those in the building, and the health codes they are to be following. I even went to meet with Tricia in person. She sat there with her arms crossed, interrupted anything I had to say, was rude and snarky, and wouldn't listen to what I had to say. Do not live here if you want good customer service from their management. Do not live here if you want to live in a mold-free, healthy environment.

Please know that we do take immediate action when we receive an urgent complaint, and we encourage you to reach out to us directly so that we can address your concerns. Thank you.
Do not move here. Neighbor had car stolen 3 months ago. Police officer said there is a car theft ring that hits this complex frequently to transport drugs. Last week I walked out to 4 cruisers, sherriff, med unit at other end of the building. Last night police arrested a man in front of the building.....he was drunk, leaning against a car. Unfair water billing; you pay for your neighbors long showers. Two water main breaks in last 2 years, you pay for that. Management is slow to respond to issues, it took 6 visits from maintenance to get a working washer. Appliances are budget line, tiny refrigerator. Very little parking. It may look beautiful but looks are deceiving. Moving out asap. Don't rent here!
This is definetly a place I'm happy about. They have great value for their apartment sizes and my roommates and I are excited with the place we got! The place is has that home feeling, everyone is so nice and my cat took to it quite well. I appreciate that the worker there helped us out with picking the right place and held it for us for a couple days while we waited on checks. Nice people and a nice place is defiently a 5/5 for me! Not to mention, it looks very nice and not trashy.
Very clean, quiet neighborhood. If you need anything they are always available. Beautiful and cozy on the inside. I have a nice fire place and washer and dryer with a beautiful view of the city.
I just moved in a month ago and "Excellent" summarizes my apartment (complex) appropriately so far. I live in a three bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor with 2 friends and we all get along and split the bills evenly. So far: No noisy neighbors, friendly landlords, excellent location, when something breaks the maintenance technician arrives within a day, there are 3 outdoor pools and 3 exercise facilities, water bill is paid for and garages are available for a fee. This is a great complex in a safe neighborhood for small families and college students because everything you need is within a short drive. For a 27 year old apartment complex I rate this apartment as being excellent, but because of my exposure to newer apartments and how improvement on little things could go a long way, I have some small inconveniences such as: internet provider could have more/better options, 2/3 exercise facilities could use expansion so multiple people could use them, 24 hour access to workout facilities AS ADVERTISED and cheaper/no garage fee. Overall I've enjoyed my time here so far, but it would be nicer if I didn't have to pay rent for a year :D
Great place to live and close to everything. The staff are nice and area is full of beautiful trees pools with lawn chairs tables and even some music. Staff has 2 amazing seasonal parties for residents to meet and mingle. I have always felt safe living in this community. Not to far out, near many shopping areas, walking paths and schools nearby if you have children.
For the price it can't be beat, W/D in every unit and a great neighborhood
