This place has mice. I’ve seen two different mice in a 24 hour period. And I am not near a dumpster. Do not move here!

BEST rental experience I have had in 40 years. Looking at BAD reviews they must be from people who do not do their part as tenants or hold things against staff that is beyond their control. Saying stuff about bugs is just inflammatory and not my reality at all. I have never lived in a place where I have never had to call about bugs of some sort, except here. A townhouse cheaper than most apartments in area and MUCH cheaper than many apartments in Annapolis, convenient location, very centralized off 97 convenient to stores, quiet family and dog friendly, walkable area. The maintenance was top notch and staff was always so friendly dealing with issues and showed genuine concern. They followed up on things that kept the property looking nice and feeling safe. They had on going communication of many resources to help families during pandemic, even resources for food and rent support and would help you with process. The staff, more than any other place made me feel like I was “home” during a scary time. Thank you so much Nicole and Emilee and maintenance staff!

Have been here for about 3 months now and overall we've been pretty happy Pros: - everyone in the community have been friendly and we've not had any issues with feeling unsafe - any time we've had a service request they've been out quickly to address the problem (a con would be they've had to come out multiple times for various issues since move in) - Leasing office has always been responsive prior to move in and since we've been there Cons: - People leave trash bags outside of the dumpsters and I have personally seen large rats around the dumpsters- luckily we're not directly near the dumpsters or we would most likely have a rodent problem- I would, personally, be cautious of getting an end unit by a dumpster - They do not have model units (at least when we first started looking in November) so you had to wait for a unit to be vacant in your desired layout and view it prior to the next tenant moving in -A lot of the kids are often playing by themselves and in groups in the driving area of the complex- younger kids on bikes not paying attention and playing behind cars - Pantry, bath closet and kitchen drawers all run smaller than what I expected and have experienced before- makes storage somewhat of an issue - Nothing in the unit is straight-- light switch coverings, wall outlets, the pantry door- even the seam in the wall in the small bath where the ceiling meets the wall itself is not straight. Cosmetic yeah- but annoying - The AC unit seems underpowered for the size of the unit- downstairs gets cool but the upstairs bedrooms really struggle to maintain temps- we had to buy (2) cooling fans just for the master bedroom alone - Floors are SUPER squeaky- I try to be thankful it's not horrible in our unit but a (2) bedroom we toured prior to the new tenant moving in was HORRIBLE and if our unit had been like that I don't think it would be tolerable - Soundproofing: about what we would expect for a rental community- neighbors are pretty respectful but we can hear their music/tv pretty regularly. -Parking: you have 1 assigned spot but the numbers are mostly faded on everyone's so it makes it difficult at times to see what are free spaces and what are assigned- - In your lease agreement any boxes (like cable, fios, etc) have to be removed prior to move out- I didn't realize this and it was a major HASSLE to get internet set up- initially Verizon tried to charge me as they thought I cut the box.

My girlfriend and I moved in for a few months before moving out of the area and had nothing but a great experience here. I could sometimes hear my neighbors slightly but that is just part of living in close quarters with other families. Maintenance is extremely responsive and the office staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The phone rings for a long time and it's difficult getting someone on the phone. When you do get someone, they find one excuse or the other NOT to attend to you. I had a staff tell me i was discriminating because I complained that my neighbor's cooking fills my apartment both upstairs and downstairs. It took them 3 days to clean the mess in front of my apartment. Parking is also an issue.

Infested with bed bugs! Save your money, time, and sanity!

NOTE: BED BUGS ARE ALSO YOUR NEW ROOMIES!!! When you sign up for this seemingly normal place, The Pointe at Harpers Mill, you don’t get informed that you will also have roommates and those roommates are bed bugs :) these little guys feed on your body at night and sometimes during the day if you’re trying to take a day nap. Not only do they hangout in your room, but your kitchen and living room too! If you’re wanting to get those pesky little bugs out, it only costs about 2 grand to get rid of them :) and in my case they come back again because they are basically permanent residents! Along with these little guys, the leasing office doesn’t care and feels as if the home is 100% fine and livable because they personally never saw the bugs, so your personal experience does not matter :D

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER RENTED FROM! They are very “nice” and eager to get you to sign the papers, BUT the second you’re all moved in and you have a problem they won’t help resolve it at all! They don’t call you back and if they do they don’t resolve any issue that you have.

BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT RENT HERE. WORST MISTAKE EVER.

I lived at this apartment complex for close to 3 years. The rent started out reasonable but they spike the price after the first year. The leasing office is almost impossible to get ahold of on the phone and you will need to wait for a call back. The apartment complex staff gave my personal information to another resident because their package was accidentally delivered to my apartment and it took me a week to get it to the leasing office because i was out of town. After I moved out the leasing office accidentally charged me an entire extra month's rent which I had to drive to the corporate leasing office to get refunded. I verbally asked about attending walk through of my apartment but was never contacted to attend walk through. They then charged me over $600 to "treat" the carpets. Everyone who helped me moved agreed that the carpet was in excellent condition when I left. I was then told since the request to attend the walk through was verbal and not issued by certified mail that there was no way for me fight the claim. I asked for proof of damage and none could be provided. I asked to be taken to small claims court and they forwarded me to a lawyer who says that he does not represent them in that capacity. Then they sent me to a debt collection agency that calls my phone every day when I am still trying to dispute the charge. My downstairs neighbor smoked in his apartment and the fumes came into my home. My next door neighbors had domestic dispute where cops were called. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT complex or management company. I highly recommend WPM Management over Quest Management every day of the week.

The Pointe is such a beautiful community! My move in was very last minute and the leasing agents got me in right away and my home was GORGEOUS! fully renovated and brand new..so happy! I am very happy living here with my family thus far, the kids have lots of neighborhood friends and can all play together outside. Overall VERY thankful we found this place!

I would like to say that I've lived her for one year now and have had a good experience. I have had pleasant experience with everyone in the rental office. The staff really works with you and go out their way to help you with any issues or situations that may arise. I have had contact with all the ladies in the office and just would like to praise every last one of them for immediate attention they provide. The maintenance service is readily available when there is an emergency and/or any services that needs to be attended to. I would recommend this community for singles and especially families.

Great community, staff, and fitness room! My dogs loved the bark park. And what a perfect location in Maryland.

Being new to Maryland, I wanted to make sure I found a place that was safe and gave me the most bang for my buck. I found that place here at Harpers Mill. Debbi worked with me via phone and email, answering my endless amount of questions and making sure I knew exactly what I was getting. She was wonderful! Everyone in the office is! They are very accommodating and attentive. There were a couple issues when i first moved in, but the staff took care of them in just a couple days! So far I am really enjoying this wonderful community!

I have lived here on and off for 9 years. Everyone is so nice, and the maintenance team is amazing. I really feel like this place is a home to me. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a safe and nice place to live. Plus you can't beat the location. I wish I could just buy the place I'm in. That's how much I like it.

I worked with Ms. Neall to sign a lease for my new townhouse and she was the best leasing consultant with whom I have ever worked. The day I met Ms. Neall I had visited four other apartment complexes in the area and I kept wishing that the leasing consultants were as professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. She pointed out features in the townhouse that she knew I would appreciate because she took the time to listen to my concerns and needs. She was responsive to my emails and made the process of signing the lease as smooth as possible. Move-in was also a smooth experience. The townhouse was clean and I was given the opportunity to tour it before move in. One of the best places I have rented from so far.

After a 640 mile trip from Indiana we stumbled upon the Pointe at Harpers Mill. Our building is conveniently located between Baltimore and Annapolis with a variety of local shopping and dining experiences. The town homes are nestled in a park like setting with well groomed grounds. We could not be happier.

The Annapolis to Baltimore area has lots of rental units to pick from, but many are too expensive, too noisy or too crowded. The Pointe at Harpers Mill is the none of these things. It has a wonderfully low density of units with lots of green space. NO other complex can compare. The on-site office staff is great and the maintenance staff is nothing short of amazing. And I should know--I've lived here for eight years.

This apartment complex is fantastic. Not only are the homes beautiful but the staff is fantastic! We had a minor hiccup in our room when we arrived (nothing that anybody could have prevented) but the staff, both maintenance and leasing alike, were apologetic, courteous, and extremely prompt in their fixing of the problem. They have helped us in every step of the process from touring the facilities to making us feel right at home when we moved in. Not only has the staff been great but the community is exceptionally quiet and near anything you could ever need including but not limited to groceries, gas, and TONS of shopping. I am so happy to have the opportunity to live in this complex and I know the feeling will continue!

The Pointe at Harpers Mill is an excellent development. Exceptional customer service. Beautiful community. Great for the entire family.

this is one of the nicest communities ive ever lived in. the office people are so nice and helpful with everything. the maintenance guys are always prompt and friendly. ive lived here for several months now with my family and we love it here. our son loves the pool and theres even a dog park for our dogs. the gym that they just put in is really cool too. the neighboorhood is very clean and well cared for and its so close to everything but its really quiet. you get a lot of bang for your buck for sure. me and my family plan to stay here for a long time.

Regardless whether you work in Annapolis, Baltimore or Columbia. The Point at Harpers Mill offer great location with quick access to highway 97 and state rout 100 which makes it ideal to drive to work while maintaining safe, friendly and quite home for your family. Great management and office staff with amazing quick responding Maintenance team makes living here much more pleasant. I have been living in this community for 4 years and never any issues, neighbors are very friendly.

I have a 3 year-old daughter and I'm a single mom high school teacher, I find it extremely convenient living at The Point at Harpers Mill simply because of ease of access to school, shopping and mall yet the neighborhood is very friendly and quite and most importantly, safe. Minutes from Severna Park and only 15 minutes to Baltimore or Annapolis. Extremely helpful office staff and awesome maintenance crew. Also, I would like to add that the units are very spacious and comfortable, great town homes that hard to find in the area.
