The 60 miles of white-sand beaches are just the beginning to what Myrtle Beach offers, and as a resident you'll be able to enjoy the sun and surf any time. But you'll also enjoy shopping at Coastal Grand Mall, playing golf at Pine Lakes Country Club, River Oaks Golf Plantation, and Whispering Pines. Myrtle Beach International Airport is a convenient way for residents to travel, and Myrtle Beach State Park provides a glimpse into South Carolina's natural past -- the boardwalk and fishing pier are great, too. Nice people, everyone was very helpful. loved the property as soon as we saw it
My partner and I moved from New York and have been searching for a place to call home for the time being. Walking into the office at the Pointe in Myrtle Beach was a breathe of fresh air. We looked around the area and this was the only place we could see ourselves living and actually taking advantage of all the amenities that the pointe has to offer. The car wash definitely got us, along with a gorgeous fire pit by the pool. But the factor that really made our decision was the staff who helped us with the application and who answered all the questions we had. We appreciate their help very much.

I immediately felt comfortable and at home once I toured the model apartment. I double booked an appointment for a tour, called the office to confirm my appointment and Haley gladly rescheduled me on the same day. She is very professional and has a pleasant personality. The apartments are very spacious and up-to-date. I love the screened in patio area and open floor concept in the kitchen and living area. I cannot wait to move in!

First off, The staff is incredible. This was the 1st place I looked and at the end came right back. My original salesperson was unavailable to do my tour on the day I was available. So instead of rescheduling another took their spot. unlike other places I was not called or emailed asking if I was ready to apply. I am looking for forward to my move in date.

The word "luxury" is used twice in the description, but nothing fits this description. Basic amenities, counters laminate, not granite. Mine had scratches and a burn hole the size of a nickel. Floors scratched, carpet basic. Basic tub and shower. Paint quickly slipped on between tenants...all over the floors and mouldings. Paint wipes off the walls if you try to clean it. Flew down to see apartment a month prior to move in, but was told at the last minute that none of the one bedrooms were available, so I would have to look at a two bedroom...which isn't even close. When I complained I was told by Halley that it didn't matter, because they had a waiting list of people waiting for it. Was told the balcony was facing West, but was South. The upstairs neighbors were such heavy smokers that I couldn't use my own balcony, or have the door open for air. They also walked so heavy that my pictures constantly fell off the wall. Garbage residue on outside walls and walkways from other upstairs neighbors who left trash bags sitting outside....can we say, "roaches?" Barking dogs in next-door apartments all day and half the night...all the time. Any and all complaints to management met with false concern, but nothing done. No carpeting in upstairs apartments, and guessing no kind of insulation...very loud. Other neighbors shared stories of drug use and dealing in the complex. Never felt safe...murder at end of the road the first month, shootings close by. Stayed 4 1/2 months then broke the lease. So happy in my new place....no problems at all. People can coexist in peace if management takes the time and energy to make their expectations known.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your feedback with The Pointe at Myrtle Beach. We sincerely apologize for the experience you’ve had with our community. We want to assure you our team takes these matters very seriously and worked diligently to ensure your satisfaction and improve your experience while you were a resident with us. During the initial appointment and tour with our team, we did not have a one-bedroom apartment home available to show. We did, however, tour the two-bedroom model, and reiterated the model is a guideline to show paint, trim, carpets, etc. and not for layout purposes. We also reviewed photos of the one-bedroom floorplan and looked at the printed floorplan. While we are not a non-smoking community, we do our best to ensure residents who do smoke are mindful of their neighbors, and we also work diligently to address any noise concerns brought to our attention. While a certain level of noise is expected in an apartment community, we do ask residents to respect each other, especially during quiet hours. Though accommodations were made by your neighbor, you expressed continued dissatisfaction; to assure you our team was committed to improving, we did offer the opportunity for a transfer to a third-floor apartment home, with no fees associated, but unfortunately, this offer was declined. While we cannot comment on what information neighbors share with each other, we can assure you any reported concerns of suspicious behavior are taken very seriously; we advise residents to inform the proper authorities should any incidents occur, and if further action needs to be taken, our team will follow up with local authorities and residents. Again, we are very sorry your experience was not to your satisfaction, and that our team was unable to improve it while you were with us. Thank you, The Pointe at Myrtle Beach Team
I can advise you right now to run, not walk from this establishment. After months of breakdowns of the cheap amenities, noises from adjacent apartments and the proliferation of pet waste on the grounds I had to get out. The maintenance staff is the only highlight in a place where toilets flushing, HVAC units (which run at a decibel which you can hear over your tv), garbage disposals, arguments, and loud music are considered "normal" apartment noises. I have lived in 8 apartment complexes and never experienced "apartment noises" to this extent. I wanted a one bedroom unit. Before signing the lease, I was shown a 2 bedroom unit, and was assured that a 1 bedroom unit was unavailable for viewing, but other than that the units were basically the same. The one bedroom is dark with little light for the entire front of the apartment, and there is only one closet (approx 5'x2') for your entire wardrobe, including coats. Once you make it clear that you are not content with the environment, be prepared for rude and uninviting attitudes from some of the leasing agents.
My daughter and I moved here four months ago and he left the staff has been so helpful and friendly even when you’re off duty! The maintenance are friendly keep everything Neat and tidy! And the saltwater pool is always clean and ready for swimming!!!!!… our neighbors have been very friendly and helpful… Great place to live ??

After owning a home for several years, I was dreading moving my family into an apartment after relocating to South Carolina for work. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by The Pointe. It’s quiet, clean and close to everything we need. New management took over in the year that we’ve lived here, and they’ve done a great job of fostering a real sense of community. Absolutely adore the office staff. I often swing by just to chat. On the rare occasion I actually need to address an issue, it’s resolved quickly and kindly.

Questionable MOLD. Don't waste your money. It's so unfortunate that this property has such poor management. I started having issues in my unit and a specialist came out and decided that we needed to move further and test my home for mold. When he returned to do the testing he was sent home by the complex manager stating that, "we know it's mold, it doesn't need to be tested." After weeks of nothing being done they brought in an AC company trying to say it was an AC issue. The entire hvac unit was covered and there was even noticeable mold coming out of the AC vents throughout the unit. After months of nothing being done they finally put plaster over it so you couldn't physically see the mold over the top. Meanwhile, the ENTIRE inside of the AC unit is still blowing mold throughout the entire apartment. Needless to say, I moved out. It's sad that someone else has already moved in and could be at a health risk.
the staff dont care and are rude, you can put in work orders and they ignore them and then they refuse to do the work and also lie about doing the work. They also go into your apt when you havent given permission. I have seen them enter other peoples apts without sending out any notices, it was to check water sprinklers, luckily i was home or they probably would have entered mine without permission, but while talking to me they unlocked my neighbors door and then knocked to see if anyone was home. Plus the one time they entered mine they violated my privacy by touching my personal property, on top of not having permission to be in my apt. This place is overpriced, they charge you for every little thing on top of your rent. So any rent you are quoted expect to pay at least another $60 in so called "fees." The facilities are a joke, a petri dish sized pool for over 140 units, and everything has broken down already even though its new construction. The apts are infested with spiders during the summer and fall and they dont do anything to rid the problem, except say that pest control will come out, but you have to let them know when you want them, but you will pay for pest control every month! they hold packages for over a month without notifying you have any packages in the office. Dont waste your money or time on these people.
Our house sold and we had about a month to find a new home before closing. A realtor friend suggested another property, but when we contacted them - they were full. "However," we heard. "We have a new property that will be opening up right at the time you need. The first building will be available June 1st." Living in the mid-west, and not having much time- everything was done via email. Yes, it was a bit frustrating doing it that way at times, but in the end, it all worked out. We moved in mid-June, sight unseen, and have not been disappointed. Beautiful property. Very well maintained. Everyone is super nice - we've not seen that anywhere. Having not lived in an apartment for 22 years, we had some adjusting to do with having neighbors so close, but it has not been bad at all. Waterleaf is centrally located. Far enough inland that you don't see as much traffic during "tourist season", but close enough that you can easily reach the beach in 10-15 minutes. Fifteen minutes to the mall, Medieval Times, Murrells Inlet... There are plenty of choices of restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping needs within 3 miles. We highly recommend that you consider Waterleaf at Palmetto Pointe as your next home. Hallie is excellent and takes care of everything and will always greet you with a smile. Give them a call today - you won't be disappointed!
these homes are brand new and look beautiful. the grounds are maintained well and it looks really good when you drive in. The people here are friendly and often spend time together. The pool is perfect, its salt water and clean. There is also a fire pit and a grill for everyone to use that is cleaned and not dirty. The apartments are very clean, but lack storage space. Parking is tough and often full. There is a car wash and gym for people to use that is clean and current. I would recommend living here, if you are coming from the north.
I love this apartment complex .It's so neat and always clean .friendly neighborhood. Good pricing for luxury apartments. Alot of new and exciting amenities that are easy-to-use. They make you feel right at home with newsletters and parties .if ever u need somthing fixed or looked at the maintenance is right there you don't have to ask them a million times .
The Leasing Consultants are so helpful and concern when you have a problem. The apartment fits my needs. When I submitted my application I requested a ground floor apartment I don't know how they remember but I got a ground floor apartment .Being a senior citizen they made everything in walking distance. The office, mailbox and pool is all in one area I would recommend any senior citizen to live this apartment complex
The apartments are pretty awesome, inside and out. Their close enough to the beach to make my mom happy but far enough away from it to make ME happy! The pool area is really nice and our neighbors seem really cool.
I LOVE Waterleaf at Palmetto Pointe! It's close to just about anything you'd want or need to do, including the BEACH!! The buildings are as beautiful inside as they are on the outside and the pool area is really great, too! It comes with a grill and a firepit...great for cooking out and relaxing with friends on those lazy summer nights!! And most importantly, let's NOT forget about the amazing office crew...what can I say? They're the absolute best!!!! So come on "home" to Waterleaf, you'll love it as much as we do!!
Waterleaf at palmetto pointe apartments are excellent apartments! Everything is brand new and in great condition! The amenities are an added bonus and in great condition as well. The staff are very welcoming and amazing to work with. My husband and I looked around at other apartments and nothing compares to the location, amenities, & apartments here. We would definitely recommend Waterleaf to anyone in the area!
I have been living in myrtle beach for 6 years and have not found a place that was like tho place .it wad the best move I made in the past 6 years
My wife and I moved here from Connecticut and we looked at many apartment complexes and this on was a no questions asked property!! The staff is very nice and willing to work with you on any questions or issues you may have. The people who live in the apartments are very friendly and every weekend its almost like community day at the pool!!! Would recommend this place to anyone in the future!!! Thanks for letting us be a part of this!!!!
I have lived at Waterleaf for 4 months now and honestly it was the best decision I have made in a long time. The property is beautiful and the staff is amazing. They always greet us with a friendly smile and help me in any way they can. The apartments are brand knew( which i love.) I have made many friends here and I cant imagine myself leaving anytime soon. Thank you to the staff Halley, Jeremy. Ken and Phill for making me feel like family. YOU ROCK WATERLEAF!!
Hello, I am not all that elegant at putting my words on paper to express the kindness and professionalism that I received from the time I came look at building I've been here a little over week and it's been so so peaceful I am disabilied and needed first floor as it stands I am going in for surgery by end year Hayle ( I hope I spelled it right) did so much help me. Care and genuine concern not only for me but many others I see. The whole staff is awesome, thank you for giving me this opporuninty to express mine beautiful home.
I had to relocate pretty quickly for a job as a teacher at the local high school and had visited several other apartment complexes in the area that just seemed to have a very closed floor plan and not a great deal to offer. As soon as I walked in the model apartment at Waterleaf on Palmetto Pointe, I'm pretty sure I heard the angels sing. It's stunning and all of the apartments are brand new with major upgrades that you wouldn't expect a normal apartment to have. It's crazy spacious and, being someone that loves to cook, the counter space is pretty awesome. A washer/dryer also comes with the apartment. Not only was I shown the model apartment but, as it became very clear this was to be my new home, I was shown my actual apartment which looked EXACTLY like the model. So, I'm ridiculously happy here and grading papers on my screened-in porch which also has a ceiling fan. The pool is a salt water pool, is kept very clean and has a fire pit right next to it to warm up by. Living here my blood pressure is probably the lowest it's ever been so those that live in high stress areas should check it out, but leave the stress somewhere else before you come. Jeremy, Hallie and Ken are awesome and they work really hard to effectively run this complex so that it caters to everyone. Being a lover of canines, there's a bark park, a happy spot, right here in the complex for puppies to meet others in the community too. We also have a waterfowl family of geese, ducks and swans that sometime roam the neighborhood. The apartments are also close to everything. The beach...10 minutes away. Market commons, coastal grand mall, tons of restaurants, all at most ten minutes away. Broadway at the Beach is about 15 minutes away. The apartments are affordable and especially with all that is offered, it's worth it. Living on a teacher's salary...I'm super happy living here and teachers even get a small discount on rent so that shows me that these are people who value folks who contribute to those working in a lower income service profession. Coming from living in NYC in a small apartment with a hoarder for a roommate, I realize that anywhere I moved to was going to be a step up from that. However, I feel very lucky to have found this particular complex and am grateful to be living here. At Waterleaf, Cinderella has found the royal palace.
