Winston-Salem's cool climate and view of Pilot Mountain surround this city with beauty. The Festival of Lights draws in crowds by the thousands every winter.
Enter north downtown Winston-Salem to notice historical landmarks and architecture from as early as the 18th century. However, these beautiful buildings house some of the area's wealthiest and poorest members of the community. This divide contributes to its high crime-rate.
Winston-Salem's north downtown works toward gentrification by providing several art schools, theatre, music, and films festivals, art galleries and workshops. North downtown Winston-Salem rests in the heart of the city lined with shops and highly rated eateries accessible by shuttle, bus or bicycle.

Property Ratings at The Pointe At Robinhood Village
I lived here for 2 years before leaving , and loved everything about it from the staff to maintenance being prompt on your request. Quiet neighbors all around . Very convenient location. Highly recommend . Walking amenities and now across the way will be more stores to shop at which is a plus . I felt safe at this complex as well. For school convenience, bus picks up right at the top. Loved the pool are any time of the day. Kids played with other kids and you knew they were safe as well being out. I highly recommend this place .
Had to move in a hurry and they made this a super easy transition for me! Plus the apartments are clean and in a great area!! Highly recommend!!
I moved here from NY a year ago in 2021 I’m glad I chose this place over the others because it feels safe, it’s clean and management is on top of any resident concerns. There are monthly gatherings and games. Maintenance is 24 hrs so I never had to wait to have my air conditioner serviced. I love the convenience of having all the shops including banking and a few Dr offices within walking distance. The gym is basic and could use a remodel The pool is clean and a nice size.
I don’t know if we’ve just been unlucky, but we have not had a good experience here. Many residents do not pick up their dog’s waste both in and out of the dog park. While that has sucked, our biggest issues have been with the staff. We put in a service request because our microwave completely stopped working and they told us they would call me in a day or two. After 5 days, we never heard back from them, so I went down to see what happened. They finally got somebody to help in 2 days. They said they were giving us a clean microwave, so we were just happy to have something that worked again. When going to examine it after they left, I noticed there were food pieces inside, it was covered in dust, and parts of the plastic on the outside weren’t fully attached. We reached out to them about this and they told us we’d get a new one in a couple days. Fast forward another week and we finally got something that worked. I also reached out to them to ask questions about the resident movie theater we can use. They didn’t have answers to my questions at that point, but they told me they’d give me a call the next day once they found out. Fast forward another 5 days and never heard from them. So I went down to the office, got the key, and figured it out on my own. To top it all off, we had a really hard first week of the month and rent slipped our minds. This is the first time we’ve ever missed rent, so this is not a normal occurrence. We got home to find a note saying that we missed rent and that we we’re being charged a late fee and they were going to file court paper if we didn’t pay with money order in less than 24 hours. We never received any warnings or anything, despite getting nearly daily emails about activities and Bingo numbers. It would have been so easy for them to send a reminder, but there was zero compassion. I have lived in several apartment complexes, including college apartments, and this has been my worst experience so far. If we weren’t stuck in a lease that said we would have to pay the total of rent for all remaining months on our lease, we would be leaving ASAP. I hope other people in the complex or that live here in the future don’t have these kinds of experiences.
I have enjoyed living here at The Pointe at Robinhood Village for many reasons. But most of all the convenience to grocery and dining is very helpful being a single mom. I toured a lot of different communities before choosing this one and I am very pleased with my choice. My family and I enjoy the atmosphere, the amenties, the afforability, and the great staff.
This is an excellent place to move whether you have a family or live on your own. The apartments are very nice and well kept with the complex being rather new. The initial reason that I chose these apartments though is because of how accommodating their staff is. They have made this entire process very easy for me and I will be recommending these apartments to any of my friends looking for a new place to live. The staff goes out of their was to assist you and makes sure you have everything you need, even if it means taking time out of their own personal time to help you. I gave them a well earned 5 star review!!!
This is a very nice community but with a very rude office staff. The office staff changed recently I guess and the new office staff is very rude. If you talk to them, you will feel like vacating the apartment complex immediately but if you don't have to interact with them, then it is a very nice community with diversity. I would have given 5 star rating if not for the office staff.

I have only been here for less than a year but I can tell that I will be here for a long time. The staff is overly friendly, Brent and Bill, our maintenance staff members tend to be more Proactive than reactive. I have never encountered a negative aspect. The tenants are all very friendly and a mature type of resident. The monthly socials are a great way to network and make new friends. With an adjacent shopping center, conienence is at your fingertips. Anyone who would like to talk about the facilities and apartments, email me johncortezjr@yahoo.com. I whole heartedly recommend The Pointe atRobinhood for anyone looking for a new place to call home. John
Wish I could give this place a negative 100 stars!!! This place is horrible. Office staff are rude, not very intelligent, lie, don't follow through and the turn over is horrendous. I have lived in this complex for a year and will never rent from Parr Investments again. The maintenance staff isn't well educated on how to fix household appliances or anything at that. The office staff will verbally tell you something but when you go back to ask more questions they deny they ever said that and make up a new story. They never put anything in writing. They always tack on more fees. There is no where for children to play people drive through the complex too fast, the pool isn't cleaned regularly. Also there is no follow through. Absolutely horrible customer service and they always act as though the tenant is lying.
New Management/Horrible. Apartment rates are excessively high for what you get. Nothing spectacular about this place other than its a few years old. Walls are thin and have the lowest grade appliances. Not worth your trouble especially if you want to be treated like your human. Place SUCKS!
I've lived in my apartment for almost 3 months. I really like it. It is clean and modern and quiet. The office personnel are very friendly. As are the maintenance guys. The are professional and courteous and helpful. I also like the area where the apartments are located. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone.
I've been living next to a noisy neighbor for over a year. They bang on the walls hard enough to make pictures fall and yell loud enough to wake me from my sleep at 3am. I've told the office as have my other neighbors. However, no one seems to care as this guy is still living here over a year later. One of my other neighbors has already moved away because of this and I will be joining them very soon. Having to deal with this is ridiculous.
I just moved in and everything is great. The complex is brand new, so all the appliances are great. It is new construction which takes a lot of shortcuts, so you can hear your neighbors but it's not more than usual. It's close to a lot of food and shopping and in a great area.
