It's where Pocahontas was kidnapped in 1613 … and where George Washington lived as a child. Stafford, located along the Potomac River and including part of the Quantico Marine Corps Base, is located along I-95 about 40 miles southwest of Washington DC. Stafford, a large CDP with a population of about 4,400, is the county seat for Stafford County.
This fascinating town features several historic destinations, great shops and restaurants, and easy access to Quantico on its north end and historic Fredericksburg to the south. Accokeek Furnace Archeological Site is one of the area's historic sites, built around 1726. The Principio Company leased the land from George Washington's father, Augustine Washington.
Public Quarry at Government Island contains sandstone that was used to build the White House and the US Capitol building.

need more discounts. Hate paying for trash disposal when the townhouses dump their trash in our dumpsters also. Should be free. I should not have to pay for the owners of the townhouses dumping their trash.

I’m honestly really happy living here. It’s a great community with good amenities. The maintenance team is fast and efficient when fixing things. The community has great neighbors. We love the dog park for our dog but we do wish they used something other than wood chips for the dog park. Parking is never an issue. We love the little events they have here and honestly we just love this place.

The community is great and the application was pretty smooth. Although whatever contractor was hired needs to find a new line of work. Constantly stepping on staples and uneven carpeting. It’s obvious they did not care about the work they were doing.
Very nice community with great amenities. The pool area, grill area, and dog park are some of are favorite parts about living here. It's close to work and the market too! Perfect location.

This is a nice apartment complex with responsive staff. There is a bit of noise if neighbors are jumping around or if you are on the side nearby 95 but nothing you wouldn’t expect.

I love my apartment. I enjoy the space and it’s enough to keep me and my family cozy. The community is nice and I feel safe in my home. There’s plenty of parking to where I never have to park far. The Richmond hwy is right off the exit of the apartments and the 95 not far as well to get to and from quickly to my job.

The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and clean. The amenities however are old and not all are functional. The constant calling of maintenance to repair things in the apartment gets annoying.

Convenient location in the northern Virginia metro area. Mostly east to access. Close to shopping. Nice folks working in the office. Added amenity fees do not make sense as no new amenities.

I love the apartment its very spacious , however everything looks very old , the oven the dishwasher the kitchen in general. The toilet/ shower as well and the laundry machine. Everything would need an upgrade for a more modern look.

I absolutely love the area and the community of these apartments ! location wise everything is so close and we love being close to base AND Stafford Marketplace ! My only dilemma is that you pretty much have to buy your own lighting for the bedrooms and living rooms which is annoying, and the favt there’s carpet in the dining room, which, with a toddler, is a nightmare !

The community is great. It’s almost always nice and quiet and you never have to worry about any craziness going on in the community. Everyone seems very friendly and kind as well.

This is a pretty acceptable place to stay for the money. Really dated and in need of updates to the kitchen and bath. Little changes could make a big difference.

Been here almost two years and it's been a great experience. Terry and Megan and the maintenance crew is so great. The amenities are kept clean and up to date.

The Office staff is very helpful. Only problem is that the cable and internet keeps dropping during the day. Comcast sucks. That is why they call it COMTRASH.

The Pointe of Stafford has been my home for many years. The staff is wonderful. The grounds , neighbors and location makes me smile everyday. If you are looking for a place to call home, I suggest you contact the Pointe .

In my honest experience, this was my first time moving out on my own and I traveled from Michigan to Stafford. Megan (Leasing) has really made this an easy move for me, and has assisted me with getting used to the area and what not. I asked for recommendations on nearby shops and motels and they were provided. The leasing office also worked with my moving schedule, and made sure I was able to make it into my new home, even though I had noted I would be arriving around 8:00 p.m. (after the leasing office closes). It's been almost a month thus far, but I am pretty satisfied.
