Property Ratings at The Pointe at Suwanee Station
AVOID the basement units it gets so cold because barely any sunlight and poor windows installation cause it’s old. For the whole winter there’s pile of water around the windows because of condensation so annoying. Be sure to take notes of EVERYTHING when you do the walk through because they charged me for things that wasn’t there in the first place. Don’t expect to get your deposits back they’ll charge you an arm and a leg.
Property Manager at The Pointe at Suwanee Station, Responded To This Review
We're sorry to hear about your experience. We strive to provide a comfortable living environment for all our residents. We understand your concerns about the basement units and we're continuously working on improvements. We also take note of your comments about the deposit. We encourage you to reach out to our office to discuss these matters further. Thank you.
I've been dealing with a roach infestation in my Pointe at Suwanee Station apartment since July 2023. Despite multiple maintenance requests and visits to the front office, nothing has been done about it. The leasing staff sends pest control, but they only spray with the same ineffective chemicals. I find 3 to 5+ roaches in my apartment every week, despite keeping it clean. I've also had other maintenance issues, like the AC and toilet not working and door jams falling off. I strongly advise against signing a lease here due to the complete disregard for tenant well-being and living conditions.

We completely understand your concerns and assure you that we take these matters extremely seriously. This isn't the feedback we like to read; however, it is crucial for us to improve. When convenient, please drop by our office so we can address your concerns directly and work towards improving your experience.
I am absolutely disappointed and disheartened by the unprofessionalism and lack of respect shown by this company. Today is supposed to be my move-in day, a day that I was looking forward to with great anticipation. However, it has turned out to be an utter nightmare due to the unacceptable service I have received from this company. Their inefficiency is glaringly evident in the time it has taken for them to complete a simple background check. This procedure, which normally takes a few days, has stretched on for an eternity, with no clear end in sight. Despite my repeated inquiries, I have received no substantive update on the status of the background check, leaving me in a state of limbo. Today, on the day I was meant to move in, I find myself stranded with a truck full of possessions and no place to go. The company's unresponsiveness has reached a new low; despite calling them over twenty times today, I have been met with nothing but deafening silence on the other end of the line. This experience has been highly distressing, causing me undue stress and anxiety. To be left essentially homeless due to the company's negligence is both infuriating and deeply disappointing. One would expect that a company involved in such a crucial aspect of people's lives would be more considerate and timely in their operations. Unfortunately, my experience paints a different picture, one of a company that is unresponsive, inefficient, and uncaring. This has been, without a doubt, the worst experience I've ever had with a leasing company. Their complete disregard for my situation has left me feeling ignored and unimportant. I would strongly caution anyone thinking about using their services to reconsider. The level of frustration and inconvenience I've experienced is something no one should have to go through. Save yourself the potential trouble and opt for a more professional, respectful, and considerate company.

We're disappointed to hear that this has been your experience with us. This is not how we usually welcome our residents and, having brought this to our attention, we are upset that our team missed the mark when it comes to showing you what our community is really about. We request that you please contact our office directly so that we may make it up to you and ensure a better experience moving forward. Thank you for your time and patience.
I recently moved out of this apartment complex and I have to say, it was one of the worst living experiences I have ever had. From the moment I moved in, I was faced with a barrage of maintenance issues that went unresolved for far too long. The staff was either not knowledgeable enough to resolve the issues, lacked the necessary parts, or simply didn't do what was requested. When I tried to follow up on the issues, I was told to resolve some of them myself, which was unacceptable. The person responsible for collecting trash each night was also extremely unreliable and would often skip units in my building. To make matters worse, they would place the trash cans upside down in front of the doors, making the breezeways dirty and attracting roaches. When I brought this to the attention of the front office, I was told that my trashcan should be clean and that there shouldn't be a mess. The gates were also a constant source of frustration, as they were broken a majority of the time and would remain open. On six separate occasions, no one was able to enter or leave the community because the gates wouldn't open. This was a serious security issue. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the complex removed all of the pool furniture and blamed the virus for its deterioration, even though months later they put the same furniture back out. The front office also stopped directing delivery drivers to the Amazon lockers and instead turned them away, which caused me to have numerous issues with getting things delivered. I was forced to arrange pick-up locations at local stores or someone else's house. The worst part of my experience was the staff's lack of honesty when I was in the process of moving out. They told the next neighborhood I was moving to that I had not informed them, even though I had sent several emails and made several phone calls. I had to take time off from work to go to the office and talk to the staff in person to get them to complete what was needed for my move. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. If it were possible to give a negative rating, I would.

Thank you for your honesty. We are disappointed to hear that we were unable to address all of your concerns during the time you lived with us. It is our mission to provide our residents with a well-kept community and excellent service and can see that this wasn't the case for you. We are always looking for ways to improve our residents' experience and your feedback is invaluable to doing so. We apologize for not addressing all concerns during your stay and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
I enjoyed living in this community very much. HOWEVER I got a job out of state and needed to move. My move out notice was "misplaced" as were my keys on the day that I moved out. I was wrongly charged an extra month's rent and not given back my deposit because of an error THEY made...it has now been two months since I moved out and I am STILL waiting for them to rectify this situation. I have called and emailed and been in person several times and have been assured that the check is on the way. But now, when I call I can't even get through because their phone number has been "temporarily disconnected". I'm not sure what is going on but I definitely do not recommend this company to anyone who doesn't want to get scammed (because that's what it feels like at this point) out of nearly $2,000....or more! Don't do it.
I cannot brag on this apartment enough. I have lived in several apartments, this has been the best! The space, the pleasant neighbors, the location is just prefect. The apartment is tucked away so no loud traffic passing by, you can jog, walk to the grocery store with no worries. Management is great! Highly responsive, always pleasant. Jennifer made my transition out of state seamless and worry free; I was able to do majority of my paper work on-line. Ruby is very nice and professional, she made me feel like I had been apart of the community for years. Its really a welcoming environment. They keep the grounds clean, we have valet trash pick-up (awesome!!) and the most divine part it comes with a washer and dryer!! whoohooo!! Its quiet and the space makes me feel like I have a home not an apartment. I highly recommend!
The apartment looks great on the outside. I have lived in places bigger than this for much less. I have lived in this apartment for about 10 months and from the first week moving in, I realized the mistake I made. The apartment has been falling apart since the first day. They have a valet trash service that they charge for that is not available everyday. The gym is only big enough for 2-3 people to use at a time (and they would be cramped). I have kids, but there is no place in the complex for the kids to play. You would also think that for the price, they would be close to something. Well that is certainly not the case. They just sent me a renewal for my lease and they are raising the rent $230 more. I don't think so. This does not sound like a place that wants to keep people in it. Now I see why they get such a high turnover of people moving out.

Thank you for your sharing your thoughts on our community. Our property is conveniently located within minutes to Interstate 85, is considered to be a within a premier suburban location just outside of Atlanta, and Gwinnett County schools have been rated as some of the top schools in the state of Georgia. The community does has a fitness trail and we are located within minutes of an area park, Suwanee Greenway, and Suwanee Towne Center which offers a splash park, movies under the stars and Broadway under the stars. Currently we are working on relocating our fitness center to a larger room and adding more equipment as part of our leasing office renovation. We would love the opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have in our office. We look forward to seeing you in the community or at one of our resident events.
5 year resident who once loved this property now very disappointed with new management. Be prepared for nice office staff that tries really hard to be pleasant, while finding ways to increase fees to you and not upholding things (amenities, property conditions) listed in the lease. Be prepared to be held to every letter of your side of the lease though and at your expense. Got a complaint or have need? Save it for the voicemail... active calls are only taken for sales. Wish I had left with the old company in 2014.
Property Manager at The Pointe at Suwanee Station, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your time and feedback. We are sorry to hear that you did not have an exceptional experience at our community. Our company has worked hard to make improvements to the property, including new exterior paint, upgrades to the landscaping, resurfacing and re-tiling the pool area, adding monthly resident and renewal functions, and cleaning and refurbishment of the awnings on the buildings. Future upgrades include enhancements the clubhouse and fitness center. We apologize if we missed your call and are happy and have office hours seven days a week. We would be happy to meet with you in our office to discuss any questions you may have concerning our exciting community updates. We look forward to seeing you at our next community event.
Apartment is under new management that are undergoing renovations which are nice. But the apartments are near a very active train track, like trains runs all night everyday of the week so if noise wakes you, I would look elsewhere. Gym, and Club house are also going to be updated, other than that love the floor plans and finishes.
Property Manager at The Pointe at Suwanee Station, Responded To This Review
We appreciate the shared experience with our community. The Pointe is undergoing some first-rate renovations including; updating our clubhouse with a larger fitness center with new cardio equipment, the addition of an outdoor fireplace and grilling areas around the pool, and free wifi in the clubhouse and pool area. We just recently freshened up the community with new designer Sherwin Williams paint on the exteriors and are looking forward to the addition of new awnings throughout. Thank you for choosing to call The Pointe at Suwanee Station home.
I have rented many apartments over the last 5 years, always leaving because of poor management and noisy, inconsiderate neighbors. I can honestly say, this is the BEST apartment I've ever rented. The quality of the apartment is outstanding. The ceilings, countertops, etc are gorgeous. I feel like I am getting what I am paying for. The biggest thing for me is not being able to hear every single thing my neighbors are doing. I love being able to come home and relax. The complex is also very nice, they recently painted the buildings/breezeways and have updated the pool and gym. There aren't any bug issues, at least in my apartment. The pest control is well managed. I highly recommend these apartments. Also, the girls at the office are incredibly nice and personable.

Thank you for your awesome review of our community. We are so excited that this is best place you have leased in the last 5 years. Our renovations are amazing! The granite countertops, dark wood faux hardwood flooring, and the stainless steel appliances really give our units a luxury home feel. Our staff is committed to friendly, outgoing, customer service and we are so happy to hear that we are exceeding those expectations
My family and I relocated here from Chicago 1 month ago.The location is convenient. The unit has a nice layout although the hallways have too much debris and should be swept weekly. The pool could be kept better and more chlorine should be used.
Property Manager at The Pointe at Suwanee Station, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the feedback regarding the breezeways and pool. We have implemented a weekly plan to keep them swept and blown and free of debris. We also implemented checking our sparkling pool twice per day to ensure that the pool is being held to the highest standards. Our goal is to provide outstanding customer service and we are so happy that you chose us to relocate to from Chicago. The Pointe does boast an excellent location, only minutes from Interstate 85, private resident access to The Fresh Market, and great shopping venues like the Mall of Georgia.
If you are looking for an apartment in Suwanee, GA, I would highly encourage you took look at The Pointe at Suwanee Station! I have lived here for two and half years, and I can honestly say that it is a great place to be! Let me state my case a bit more... * In two years I have NEVER heard my neighbors. Seriously. I live on the top floor which helps, but even the neighbors on either side of me...silence. LOVE it! * Parking and plenty of it. :) I have never had trouble finding a place to park at Suwanee Station. * Space: My apartment is a one bedroom and the layout is lovely and spacious, and because I am on the top floor, I have high ceilings which makes it feel bigger than it is. They have also been renovating apartments with new features like hardwood floors and new counter tops since March. *Staff: At the beginning of 2015 the complex came under new management and they have done everything in their power to make the transition smooth and seamless. Yes, rent went up a bit at renewal but with the rent increase, came some new improvements to the complex, the pool, and the gym. I have had few maintenance issues during my time at the Pointe and they have been quick to fix them. * Location and Safety: Suwanee is an adorable area. The Pointe is located right behind a Fresh Market (goodbye paycheck!)and down the street from a Publix, Kroger, Aldi and multiple restaurants and Suwanee town center is about a mile away. You are also close enough to Lawrenceville and Duluth that all are convenient. I hope this helps! If so, please like my review! :)
Property Manager at The Pointe at Suwanee Station, Responded To This Review
