It takes forever to get something resolved. Leaks, noise, excessive trash. If I ever go to the office for anything, I'm made to feel like an idiot. Staff is snarky and unhelpful. 4 and 5 star reviews between June 26th and July 4th have been bribed with entries to a raffle, so take that into consideration when reading those.
This community made adding a person to a current lease a simple process. Sierra and Carlos were attentive the moment we walked into the office. We were able to view a model immediately and tour the casual tree covered property and amenities without an appointment. We look forward to a smooth transition, but know Sierra and Carlos will be on hand for any concerns.
I have lived in the polos since March 2023 it’s a great place . They have wonderful scenery to look at around the neighborhood and two pools with gas grills and a full equipped gym. Everyone is so nice & professional. I don’t have any complaints

It's a quiet complex, and the staff is helpful. They'll handle any issue very quickly, from fixing hvac to getting a dehumidifier due to water damage from the stormy season. Very competent, and decent place to live.

I have lived at Polos for 1 year. Management has been very responsive to any repairs or concerns. They have an efficient system established. I love having 2 pools is one is too busy or noisy the 2nd is quiet.
Staff members, maintenance attention, amenities and apartments make it a nice place to live!

I've lived here for a year. Office management has done a really good job of keeping me informed when anything comes up, and maintenance consistently comes within a reasonable time frame when I put in a work order.
Well this is the last straw... just came home from a great weekend out of town to our entire bathroom ceiling leaked through from upstairs and everything in the bathroom completely soaked. And this isn’t the first time it’s happened either.. from the day we moved in we have been having issues time and time again. On our move in day (2 and a half years ago), we were given an apartment that wasn’t even move in ready. Our window panes had holes in them, the apartment reeked of Kilz mold cover, half of the appliances didn’t function properly and mold covered our bathroom ceilings. They agreed to have these things fixed in a timely manner and we agreed to move in. Since then, our 20+ year old AC has broken multiple times just to be “fixed” and broken again 3 days later. Our window does not seal correctly and our room never cools off with the AC on but also doesn’t stay warm in the winter and we were told that we “don’t know how to shut the window correctly.” (I cant stick my pinky through the window) Our utility bill is consistently $200+ each month for a 900 sq ft when we keep our AC set to 78 at all times. The neighbors don’t keep there dogs on leashes and have attacked other dogs on multiple occasions. The walls and floors are extremely thin and you can hear every movement from your neighbor (not to mention we have upstairs neighbors that are literally nocturnal). If you have neighbors that enjoy smoking pot inside their apartment, it will also come through the walls and make your whole apartment smell like it too. Parking doesn’t seem to be enforced because people without stickers will park all over the place (including in the grass) and if you come home after 9 pm you won’t be able to get a spot close to your apartment. The maintenance staff have come to fix things in our apartment while no one was home and used our bathroom and left their business in the toilet for us to find once we got home. Some of these things may sound trivial but they add up fast! Now don’t get me wrong, the amenities here are pretty good. It has 3 nice pools and a large gym and new clubhouse. The new gym and the location of the Polos are probably the only good things about this place though. Can’t say there’s much else. The buildings are old and it shows. The staff are typically pleasant but never seem to actually get anything done unless you bother them on a daily basis. If I were you, I’d avoid the Polos at all costs. We are SO excited to move out!

The office staff is absolutely terrible and they have been for years. They have poor communication skills and are incredibly rude to residents. I informed upper management of my concerns; however, my concerns were never addressed. Maintenance is not great either. It takes months to get anything repaired and the job usually is less than satisfactory. Additionally, the garbage unit for the back of the complex has been broken for 6 months leaving a disgusting smell and appearance to the complex. Overall, management is simply awful. This is by far the worst apartment complex I've ever rented from. The only reasons I've stayed at the complex as long as I have is because of the price, location, and the complex is pet friendly (even is there are a ton of fleas with little to no pest management).
I recently moved into The Polos after thorough research and discussions with others. My roommate even lived in The Polos a couple years back and loved her time here. While on the tour everything that was spoken was wonderful and seemed logical and fair. It obviously was not perfect but it seemed like a safe, decent place for the price. However, the majority of the "guarantees" that the leasing agent told us (and had been true in the past) were utter lies. The day we moved in was such a hassle that we were almost left homeless for a weekend, with the staff showing no empathy whatsoever. This was due to the fact that somebody had regrettably forgotten to answer all our emails with questions and had somehow dropped connection with us on the multiple calls we placed to the office. And apparently all the mail that was sent out to my roommate and I was lost in transit, though they had "never had this happen before!" SHOCKING! and HIGHLY doubtful. When we finally were able to get into our apartment after hours of talking, tears, money spent, and people called....it was a disgusting mess. I even gagged a few times while trying to clean it. It was left so unclean to the point that I found candy wrappers sticking in odd corners and objects left from the last residents. Though they swore that there had been a full cleaning and a walk through to confirm so. Since that day it has been nonstop issues with the staff and the neighborhood. It is overall dirty and grimy (trash not picked up for days, so we are left with pile-ups in the street!), full of half painted and broken apartments, has shown to be a dangerous area with many badly attempted fix-up jobs, and is just overall a terrible place to live right now. Which is a shame since I had heard such good things about it before. Although I do have to say that though the apartment I live in has physically and emotionally injured me (I seriously have scars), we do have the awesome perk of getting an adorable free pet squirrel who made himself at home in the side of our "attic". SO CUTE, but I think the hole and ripped insulation is not so great considering health factors and such. I DO NOT RECOMMEND A LEASE HERE, IT IS TERRIBLE NOWADAYS!

I am a current resident. So far I have moved into a filthy apartment. The house measurements in sq feet provided for the rental layout are incorrect. It was infested with roaches upon move in and I had to jump through hoops to get them to notify pest control. The AC went out in the first 2 weeks on a weekend at it took 24 hours for someone to fix it. The computer lab is not 24hours so don't plan on printing after hours and while it is open every computer is being occupied by children to play video games. Maintenance has yet to fix any of the number of problems I have called about and every time I contact the office they say 'Sorry we can't do anything about it.' I feel like the bad guy or a mean resident every time I call or go to the office because I am so frustrated that nobody is doing anything to help. I lived here about 2 years ago and I absolutely loved it. I recommended it and obviously moved back. Honestly, I'm so sad and disappointed.

At the moment, I have been waiting 24 days for someone to fix my dryer. I have called to follow up, and twice, I have been told they have no record of my request, and that they would put it in, but it would put me at the back of the line. Maintenance takes FOREVER to do anything, and when they do, it is not done properly. It takes multiple visits to get anything done correctly. I had a leak in my kitchen, and they fixed the leak, but did not repair the damage, which allowed mold to grow in areas that weren't visible. Residents don't pick up their pets' poop, so there is dog poop all over the place. Partly because it's not enforced, and partly because they don't refill the bag dispensers and empty the trash for weeks. The last time, over a month went by after the dispensers ran out of bags, and the cans were so full, people started piling bags of poop on the ground around the can. Their excuse when I called? Maintenance was busy due to move-ins, and couldn't get around to it. You could smell the poop if you walked within about 10 ft of any of the trash cans. Save yourself the trouble and AVOID THE POLOS.

Buyer beware! I'm currently living here and have had nothing but issues since day one. When we moved in the apartment was not in tip top shape (not even close). The dryer that was provided to us did not work so we requested a new one, which was installed the next day. Later that night we smelled something burning and I thought to check the dryer only to find that the new dryer had been hooked up to the previous dryer duct that was FULL of lint. On top of this, we had two clogged tubs, a non-operational garbage disposal, ripped porch screens (still are today despite multiple work order requests), cracked kitchen tile (beware paying extra $ for hardwood floors means you get 100 sq. feet), a broken window, a broken AC unit and our latest issue ROACHES! I understand this is Florida and we've had an unruly summer of rain but this is unacceptable. We fear they have infested the AC ducts and are coming from above... Despite MULTIPLE phone calls to management, little to nothing has been done. We've been treating the house with over the counter sprays and traps for over a month and still average 2-3 sightings a week. Sometimes they're dead, sometimes they're not. Either way, GROSS! So much for providing a healthy and safe living environment. I fear that we aren't the only ones dealing with pest issues (apparently the exterminator's appointment log is pretty hefty)... again, I get it, it's FLORIDA but preventative pest control is A MUST! When I called the other day, I was assured by one of the leasing office assistants that quarterly treatments would be implemented in October once all the new residents move in... so, the current residents are supposed to just deal in the meantime? And quarterly... this is FLORIDA, you should spray once a month and spray outside! Once they get inside it's too late. I waited around this morning for the exterminator to show because we have dogs that we don't kennel only to find out that he wouldn't be coming today (despite the confirmation I received the night before) and so I took half a day off from work for absolutely nothing! And all I got from the office staff was "we can put you on next week's log, no problem." Well, we have a PROBLEM, folks! Can't wait until our lease runs up... we can't get out of here fast enough. The Collier Co. management team needs to give this place a good look because it's poorly managed and cared for even less.

I have lived here since 2014 and love it. Close to UF, great amenities and fast maintenance response. Great place to live.

I have lived here for almost two years, and for the price this is a pretty nice place to live. The amenities are nice, and the office staff is friendly. There are little things here and there, but for a college apartment it gets the job done.
I love my apartment. From the first day I walked in, I fell in love. Everything was as promise. The relationship with the staff is great. They are always friendly and willing to help. The maintenance staff is very efficient. They get stuff done within 24 hours. I love living at the polos.
I have only lived her about 2 weeks now but so far it seems nice, the pools are beautiful and the duck ponds are a nice place to walk around. Very quiet complex and helpful staff.
The Polos are an ok place to live. They keep the place up and are pretty good about maintenance. The bus comes by either entrance so you can get by by not driving to UF if you study or work there. Great neighbors and no crazy parties. My cats love the screened in patio and have spent many an hour watching the world go by. Two paws up!
Moved in yesterday. Apartment was trash. Kitchen was filthy, walls had holes, shower stall was falling apart, toilet leaked and the whole place smelled. I met with management for an hour and they stated "we turn 200 unit in 7 days so we do not have time to fix every thing" This was nothing like the model. Demand to see an actual apartment. Given the college town there are no other options so I'm stuck like chuck for a year. They claim they will fix every thing but I am not hopeful
