Property Ratings at The Pops Apartments
Two stars for the apartment itself being nice inside. Good renovations. However, the people who live here are the worst ever. There are a few people who sit at the pool all day every single day and blast terrible music from a boombox. You can hear it from your unit. Not peaceful at all. If you ever do want to go to the pool, do not expect them to turn it down. They leave it at the farthest end away from them so it is just ringing in your ear. Talk about relaxation! Not. The pool is supposed to close around 8 or 9, but there are some weeknights where they will be blasting music until 10 pm. I wish I got to enjoy the pool more this summer, but they have 100% ruined my time living here.
The neighborhood is quiet, which is a plus, but if your not a fan of roaches and mold please continue on to a better establishment. When I complained about the mold, the maintance man just painted over it. The apartment is sprayed every month for bugs but literally right after they spray I see a roach. I don't know about you but we keep a clean house, and pay our rent on time, so we expect to not have roaches or mold. Our lease is up in a few weeks, thank GOD!!!
Property Manager at The Pops Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hi. I realize it has been several years since you posted. I came to the property In September 2018. I am sorry that you had a bad experience while living here. We are under new owners as of Oct 2017. These owners have really set the bar high for our competitor's. We are stable and have control of the issues that you stated. Man O War Crossing has come such a long way and we are pushing the limits with our renovations. The newly renovated units are beautiful. Fresh, crisp, and modern. But we aren't stopping there. We have so many great things changing on the property itself. Come by and take a look. By the end of summer, you wont recognize us. This is going to be a movement worth being a part of. I am proud and excited to be a part. I invite you to visit us and see for yourself. Again I am sorry for your experience. Office hours are M-F 9-5.
