Property Ratings at The Port Apartments
Went there to tour and we got very poor customer service. The tour was so poor and the Assistant manager just walked ahead of us and didnt take time to engage us. We pretty much seemed like such an inconvenience to her. Poor attitude. Didnt feel welcome and the reception was just not cordial.
I was utterly in love with everything about this complex: location to shopping centers, highways, close to family, beautiful pond, great price and washer in dryer in unit which is a rarity for this price. I had only wished that I’d known about their brown recluse problem before moving in, or I don’t think I would have moved here. The townhouse is sprayed quite often (one instance twice a month) and typically monthly now. The ones we see are usually dead from the spray but there has been multiple occasions where I see one crawling on the wall and I can only presume it’s coming from the vents or electrical sockets. The anxiety from worrying about these poisonous spiders may not be worth it to stay here which is unfortunate because if it weren’t for that, I would love to stay here long term until I was ready to find something more permanent.
My apartment was beautiful it’s very quiet neighborhood...I had great neighbors. However my apartment had a horrible smell to it and many times I would walk in and could smell cigarette smoke throughout my apartment and I and my neighbors do not smoke! The last 1.5yrs I had drain flies and gnats that never went away and I’m very clean...never have fruit or food sitting out. The women in the office have a definite I don’t care attitude about everything. I do commend the maintenance men they were always there quickly and did a great job and very friendly !
I really like the place I've lived here for 3 weeks. We turned in the tenant walk thru form the were here later that day to look at everything. The woman in the office are not very professional but they aren't mean
The port is a nice complex with a nice setting. Right in the middle of oakville. We have a family pool along with a playground and an adult pool for us big kids!! Apartment are being updated and come with washer and dryers.
Since I've moved in it has been a nice quiet park like setting. You have you're own little patios, plenty of room in the apartment, it is in a great location. The staff has been very friendly & accommodating when needing something repaired. My only regret is that I didn't move in sooner.
I live in a good community with great people! We have a problem with management and their social skills with renters and turns some people away. This place would be on the top of the apartment charts if management and maintence were up to par!
I just celebrated 1 year here!! Yay me, I have an adorable I bed townhouse that's perfect for me! I have my choice of pools a family pool or an adult pool. I choose the adult pool haha. Although the management is not well liked we have a great community of people that live here.
The townhouse is highly recommended. Good amount of space with big closets. The apartments are updated and look great too. They also take care of any problems very quickly too.
These apartments are one of the better ones in the south county area for a reasonable price. The great part is every apartment has its own washer and dryer included so there is no hassle with taking your laundry elsewhere or having to purchase your own washer and dryer.
