Property Ratings at The Pradera
I just wanted to say that our experience has been great so far. My husband and I moved in 2 months ago and we are really enjoying our apartment with a yard. The ladies at the front are so friendly and were able to accommodate a few special requests for me before moving in, and my neighbors are very nice. Lots of people have dogs here, including myself and the dog parks are large. Here are a few things I've noticed: -The wood floors echo a lot, so you can hear people above you moving around. If you are coming from a house this might be upsetting but I was prepared and my neighbors upstairs are nice about it. - The rent is higher here than some places around. I think it's worth it for the yard and the garage space you get, but I know if we didn't care about that we could find a cheaper place. - The amenities in the office are old. They have a business center with very old computers, the outdoor fireplace does not work, and some of the fitness equipment is older in the 2nd gym. None of this is important enough to me to give them a bad review, but just make sure you know before you lease. - The apartments show some wear. Our apartment has wood flooring and the floors are very faded in some places and the counters in the bathroom are not granite. I think I would live here for many more years if they ever upgrade the counters and flooring. - Maintenance is WONDERFUL. I saved this part for last- I have lived at a few places and nowhere else have I found such a kind and quick maintenance team. These guys really do care about us and know me and my husband by name. The girls at the front even make arrangements to schedule maintenance around when I can be home with the dogs and I know that must be tough but they do it. All in all I am very happy here and my advice to anyone looking to rent here would be to do your research and make sure it has what you are looking for! It's not brand new but very quiet and feels safe, and is really starting to feel like home for me.
It is always stressful relocating to a new place & especially a different state, but the staff at The Pradera is Amazing! Jamie was so sweet & professional, & everyone has been so nice! I am enjoying my new home!

Everytime i come into the office her and the other lady always greet me with warm welcomes and smiles especially when i bring my baby in. Love Texas very much and Love living here. Love this place! I moved in here 3 months ago with my fiance and it has been amazing! We were greeted with cookies and a welcome letter a couple of days after we moved in! Our apartment is amazing! So beautiful! Could not be happier! Thank you to the awesome staff for my dream apartment!
Too much rent for loud neighbors, dogs and poor construction. I can't wait to get out. Management is very passive about noise complaints. Would not recommend this place. Don't let the "pretty" place fool you.
We lived at The Pradera apartments for a little over a year in a 1st floor unit up until earlier this year (2016) The place is poorly maintenanced which is evident in the care of the buildings and property. All upper floor units have wood floors so if you live on the 2nd or 1st floor and have an upstairs neighbor, you hear their every step, bounce, bang and everything they drop. The worst part of the place is the management. They are so unresponsive and confrontational, it is pointless to discuss any issues with them. They have a revolving door maintenance staff of mostly untrained laborers and that means everything that gets repaired, is done so with bubble gum and duct tape and will break again in a few weeks or if you are lucky a month. The property looks impressive from the street but it is only a facade. While we lived there we ran across so many frustrated neighbors and at least two different couples had to move out because of an upstairs water line break that flooded their apartments. The Pradera management was un-sympathetic to both couples. Their management staff are a handful of poorly trained and sadly un-informed folks who make up rules as they go. The only nice thing about the place was it was very doggie friendly. But there are others and we would not return to or recommend The Pradera going forward. An alternative that we took was to rent a house which there are many of and which we are paying far less for than the robust rents Pradera demands.
I've lived at The Pradera for 3 months now and I have to say I'm pretty happy with the apartment. I've encountered a rude neighbor and the folks upstairs are a little noisy at times, but you're likely to find that at any apartment complex. My leasing agent Christina was extremely helpful during the leasing and move in stages, and is still very friendly every time I pick up a package from the office. The apartment is well appointed and maintenance responded immediately when my AC went out. If you enjoy community events, it seems like they constantly have something going on and post a flyer at each group of mailboxes to let you know. The Pradera is really a nice all round place to live.
This property is well maintenanced and has very useful amenities. My husband and I have two dogs. We have a small yard for them, but they love running around in the dog parks on the property.
My husband and I are a little older and as former homeowners we LOVE living here! This is a place that is perfect for people who love apartment living, but also for those who are moving from a standard home to an apartment. When I'm in my apartment I look around and it looks and feels like a home. We love it for many reasons from the way it's built to the clever floor plan, but the three top reasons is because we have a yard for our dogs, the location is fantastic, and most of all we feel very safe.
