I moved in at the end of February 2021 I actually found a The Premier here on Apartments.com I was immediately drawn to my studio apartment’s layout & the lighting & view of the Montgomery Center across the way I’ve now lived here for almost four years As I write this it’s October 2024 Anyway The pest control is spectacular which is so important I have seen bugs sooo infrequently & never any rodents in my apartment The staff is extremely friendly & maybe most importantly there is a Starbucks 300 feet from the building A Mom’s Organic Market 700 feet And a Walgreens next door I hope I live here a very long time Thanks The Premier
I just want to point out how friendly and helpful the staff is. Sam the maintenance is excellent and quick. Amanda in the office is always willing to help even if it's outside her regular duties.
Used to be a great building, you know when the garage door worked, concierge would control who came in, you know all stuff that you pay for. Now? Nope. Get your car broken into any night because that controlled access you paid for is a joke. The response you get from the office is crickets. Wrote a letter to the office, like the corporate office, still crickets. So if you make the poor decision to move here, keep money set aside for your new windows in your car that you will need. Don’t drive, you should be good because you can’t get parking anyway because there is no control and people park here that don’t live here. At any rate, don’t move here.

I am a resident at the Premier. This place was the BEST apartment few yrs ago. Leasing office was great and responsive, no major issues n tenants were very quiet. In the last year or so, ever since they got rid of the old leasing manager this place is going downhill. Our main entrance door has been broken for months and now anyone can enter the building (Leasing manager is aware of this), just last week my neighbor’s car got broken into because our parking garage door is broken also and every random thief n homeless comes inside our parking levels, our leasing office is empty from Mon-Fri. No one comes in the office anymore. If they do, they come in for an hour or so then leave. If you’re lucky you get an email response!! Crimes have been outta control in our area and the fact that the leasing office neglects to fix both the front door and garage door is beyond shameful. This is Unacceptable!!!

We moved into The Premier recently having toured more than 8 apartment buildings and were sold on how honest the leasing office was with us in terms of rent, nuances on the lease, and expectations. Additionally, it is in a great central location and we have not had any issues with the apartment itself (I previously lived in a noisy apartment building that had cockroaches, so I pay extremely close attention to anything that might be a warning sign of something going wrong). The leasing office has always responded in a timely manner to our emails and handled a situation where there was a delay in getting our washer fixed very timely and professionally. This apartment is definitely no frills and high quality and we are completely satisfied.

I can only assume that most of these reviews are fake, or the people writing them got extremely lucky. I tried 4 times to get in touch with the leasing agent, and got no response. Everyone who answered the phone was polite, but that doesn't mean much when the one person I need to talk to is constantly "out running errands". If this is a great apartment complex, I'll never know I guess.

Just moved out of the Premier after about 3.5 years of living there (ultimately moved out we wanted to closer to family). We originally signed a 2 year lease because we liked the price, the apartments (updated appliances and kitchens, floor to ceiling windows, good sized bedrooms), and the location (close to downtown silver spring and close to the metro without the noise of either). We signed our second lease because we had such a great experience with building management over the course of those first 2 years. Sean, Chyna, Amanda, and Sam make a great team, they're prompt, respectful, friendly, professional, and reasonable. They really stand up for their tenants, and they've done a great job creating a sense of community in the building. They also did an excellent job keeping everyone safe during the pandemic while also supporting their tenants and responding to maintenance requests. We'll miss seeing everyone and we'll miss the great location and walk-ability of the area. Would highly recommend anyone looking for an apartment in Silver Spring to check out the Premier.

I lived here for 3.5 years and the reason for my long stay was that I had a very good experience at the Premier. Sean and the management were always very accommodating and took action with anything we requested. In addition maintenance requests were tended to very promptly; almost always within 24 hours, and the concierge (especially Chyna) were always happy to assist and very helpful. The only thing that could be improved if the building had a small gym, however, the apartment building has a LA Fitness next door.

I'm writing as a representative of a local business to say that The Premier staff have gone out of their way to accommodate us and are doing a great job. During the course of our 6 month stay, we've had many random requests come up, and Victoria in particular has always been willing to go above and beyond to resolve any issues we've had or to help us with any requests. Our company has enjoyed the corporate lease we had with The Premier and if we ever need another one, we'll be sure to return here.
After moving in a month ago, my experience with the Premier has been pleasant. The Premier is located near downtown Silver Spring. It's walking distance to downtown with lots of delicious restaurants and bars. It is also a 5 minute walk to the metro (close enough to everything minus the noise). The staff is nice and the building is well maintained. There is a club house that you can use to host your friends in addition to a rooftop patio and view of the butterfly garden from the balcony. The apartment is great. It has a high ceiling and fairly new appliances, most importantly a big walk-in closet. I recommend checking this place out. When I was here to view the apartment initially, we ran into some of the current residents and they highly recommended too.
As someone that works downtown DC, commuting on the red line is the worst. That's really the only reason I'm moving because I love this apartment. The finishes are modern, the floor plan is open and the appliances are quality. The people are great, and every time I had a garbage disposal issue or light out, maintenance came within 24 hours. You can walk to plenty of restaurants and shopping. Rooftop space is limited, but there is a nice lounge on the second floor. No pool or fitness center, but they gave me a membership to LA Fitness which is right around the block.
