Property Ratings at The Preserve at Camp Creek
royal oaks has pest issues ive went the rent office and 2 people in the same day cam and said someone cane through they window and robbed them ! someone else said they bathroom has mold . they told me 3 different moving dates all because the apartment they want me in someone was in ! and they didnt know when i was able to move ! DONT MOVE HERE
They don't have any apartment to let. Very rude customer service. They tell different stories everytime u called.
I had called the front office to see if they have a one bedroom one bath available. A man answer the phone and I asked about there vacany of there one bedroom and he said it's not available. And I politely told him that it shows on many websites that they have vacancy right now and they need to take it down. But he came right back @ me in a rude and disrespectful manner about it. So i just told him just take it down so other people won't get the wrong idea and i hung up on him. I don't even stay there and i really feel sorry for those residents that put up with that guy's attitude.
I have lived here for about 2 years now (my time flies). This isn't to be a totally bad review, but it's definitely not all good. The neighborhood is somewhat friendly when you just mind your own business. It's a great place to start off gaining rental history and the rent is cheap. The location is in the cut of Atlanta, but it's actually not so bad. There have been a few break-ins, but nothing consistent and the new staff is making changes that were much needed to keep the place up. I'm guessing I will have to move out to have my apartment renovated, and my lease is coming to an end, however, presently I have had a bug issue since I moved in. I have spent a countless amount of money of spray and bombs, and no matter how clean (maintenance complimented that my place was one of the cleanest) they still pop up here and there. On the plus (if there is a plus to having pests) they have not been more than a couple every now and then, not a disgusting family gathering of them like you would picture when someone mentions bugs. It's livable, and like I mentioned before there are changes being made with the new staff. Maintenance it (or was, as I have not had to call for them in a while) slow, and there's a small leak in my wall when it rains, but nothing that floods. The staff have always been pretty nice to me as well. There definitely needs to be more ventilation. These apartments are old and only have front windows, so it's always stuffy inside during any season. Other than that Royal Oaks (previously Stone Park Presidential, look up more reviews from that name as some complexes usually try to deter the old reviews with a new name) is an ok place to be. Just ok.

Good morning and thank you for your review. We have been working diligently over the past 18-months since our change in Management to improve each of these areas for a healthier, safer community for all of our residents. We have made some changes with procedures and staffing for better timeliness with Maintenance. We appreciate your positive words about our resident relations, as we are ensuring a friendly experience each time you visit the office. Let us know how we can improve each of these areas, we're open to ideas.
I have lived at the Royal oaks complex for three years, and i can honestly say i see improvements I moved in when it was called stone park, and have seen staff change but no changes done to the community. The staff, now is informative and helpful, The maintenance department are now prompt with request whether it be of pest control, pluming issue or just ground work. I have seen a difference, in the apartments and in the renters who rent the apartments as well. I also see security on the premise at time, to help maintain the safety of the apartments. I have never had an issues with break ins, or other. The rent is a good price for a one bed too. All and all i am happy with the progress be made

Thank you very much for your insightful and encouraging review. We are working hard to improve the dynamics of operations, quicker maintenance, and programs for our families to improve the neighborhood and our residents' experience. Let us know how we can continue to improve!
Air conditioning unit goes out every 2 to 3 weeks. The office management is HORRIBLE! THEY TAKE WEEKS TO HANDLE ANY MAINTENANCE REQUEST EVEN IF THEY ARE CONSIDERED AN EMERGENCY. They don't care about their residents at all. My neighbor was outside fight and even fired shots and despite multiple people informing the office she has not gotten in any trouble!!!!!
